FRIDAY FAVORITES HASTA LA VISTA JANUARY

What? Are you kidding me? The longest day of the year is finally over, I mean month, I mean, January, lol! You did it friends! But I’d be lying if I said I don’t want snow in February, just give us a couple blasts, lol!

Not a favorite this week with some tooth pain I had, the dentist was able to fit me in on Wednesday and I was scared to death that there was going to be infection and a root canal and crown needed. I actually was one of those cases that baffled him because he was a little bit unsure what was going on and doesn’t want to do any kind of work until we have a definitive diagnosis, so I have a mouthwash I’m using and we’re going to look at the tooth again in two weeks. I’m hoping for the best. Let’s get to some Friday favorites, friends!

Shopping with the Babes

Shopping at Home Goods with these two, their mama and my mom and then all having lunch together at Panera to celebrate their mommy’s birthday was definitely a favorite!

Massage

Last year I had so much stress and so many neck problems that a friend of mine suggested the massage therapist where she works. Luckily for me, she also does massage out of her home and will come to yours. I’m now on her books monthly and she has done wonders, this coming from a girl who never used to get massages, lol. I went to her house Tuesday, and I was so relaxed all day!

Obviously After, LOL

Free Assembly Spring Cuteness

I showed you a Collage last week with some of the cutest pieces from the Free assembly line at Walmart. Luckily, this week several of the line’s pieces arrived at my house, and I am here to tell you the quality is spectacular! Just look how cute. I think my favorite might be that. Let me know your favorite.

Stella Mae

This girl! Mr. Nine’s girl! And mine. Celebrating three years next week of her gotcha day. She is the best dog that either one of us have had. She is 8 pounds of pure love and devotion! She is truly happiest when she is either outside with us, going for a car ride, getting a pup cup with her “Giga,” hanging with her boyfriend Tater, or lounging on our laps. A true lap dog with so much love! She sleeps curled right up next to me, and we truly do not know what we would do without her. Not kidding when I say we’ve seriously investigating cloning her DNA, lol!

Her Boyfriend Tater

Blast from Last

My Galentine’s. A set of ladies I also don’t know what I would do without. We try to get together quarterly, and this was one of several visits last year. In April, we did a favorite things party in Chicago and had an absolute blast. Lots of cocktail time too.

FRIDAY FAVORITES HASTA LA VISTA JANUARY

Happy Friday! Can you taste February? So close! We went from amazing fluffy snow on the ground that I was enjoying bundling up and walking in for a great workout to an ice storm, and so much rain it turned it all into a muddy mess. That is the part of January that I really dislike, when it gets icky. I love Winter but not the messy moody part, lol. We did get to see the twins Monday night but sorry I didn’t get a lot of photos. But I do have some sweet Friday Favorites.

1. Flowers
Speaking of bidding January goodbye and seeking Spring: Flowers!! It’s this time of year that I start bringing in fresh flowers to sit on the counter. Often, I opt for a big bouquet, but I just thought this little one was so sweet
and spring like.

2. Makeup Case
I have tons of makeup bags, but I was due for a really good one if you know what I mean. I feel like I’ve upgraded because this one is an actual zippered case, and it is a fraction of the designer one floating around. There are two sides. I have the smaller one and it’s perfect. It comes in four colors and it’s so nice and sturdy, I love that you can see through both sides and there’s really a little bit of room on the top that you could put things like wipes, or Kleenex, or make up remover, pads, etc.

3. Outfits Lately

The minute I saw the Jeans in the first two photos in the Loft email, I knew I had to have them. So cute and well-made and perfect for Spring!

4. Sweet Fury Cuteness
BIG TEDDY BEAR

How cute is this Teddy Bear! I went crazy in Walmart when I saw all the plush stuffed animals, how big they were, and how reasonable they were for the size and quality! This particular bear is a beautiful apricot color and comes in several other colors. He is 36 inches tall and only $35. He looks like he would be about $200. He’s ready to have tea with the twins when they get big enough, lol!

STELLA MAE

This girl, I tell you what! She is just the sweetest, except when it comes to delivery drivers, she’s a mini Cujo behind the glass! This picture was so cute because she was guarding her beloved bully stick. She chooses on it for comfort and was waiting on her daddy to come home.

This picture is one of my favorites. I was down in
the floor exercising and she was helping mommy.

POST OF THE WEEK
Monday: Blank Page

The sweetness from Monday’s post was just so precious to my heart! I know you all are amazing people anyway, and even if we are just verbalizing to get our feelings out, the fact that so many of you understood and saw where I was coming from makes me know we are more alike in this world then different.

Happy Weekend my Beautiful Friends!!

CHRISTMAS HOME TOUR 2023

Welcome to the Nine Home Christmas Tour 2023. I’m going let most of these pictures do the talking. Not much has changed but of course you know I always add a few trees every year. I literally could take and post hundreds of pictures, so I tried to just pick some of my favorites and I didn’t even take photos in every room that had decor this year.

We have  little tree for the twins with their
nicknames on it and 2 of every ornament

The most different thing to note is the candy Christmas corner in the kitchen. I’m so proud of it and it is even more precious in person. The darn nutcracker has a story behind it but let’s just say a little packaging tape and my MacGyver skills and we’ve got ourselves a free nutcracker, lol.

I probably should’ve done a blog post just on this area alone, lol. I love how the chair sashes turned out and the window garland.

You can get a lot of cool Bakery Decor Christmas Items HERE.

I do still love the Christmas guest bedroom. The tree in there is new as the one we had last year broke. I just love this sweet, flocked candy tree!

If you look up to your left, you will see that I did the shower rod with the garland hack. It is not near as easy as it looks, and some of you may have seen me talk about my frustrations on Instagram. Nevertheless, when I woke up to it fallen on the floor the next morning, I was bound and determined more than ever to get it back up there to stay and stay it has! I do love it. The tree to the right of the door in red and champagnes is also new, and it fits in that spot perfectly.

I did change the place settings a bit in the dining room with peppermint dessert plates and homemade peppermint embellishments.

The Upper cabinet kitchen Christmas wreaths are still going strong after 5 years, I have 12 of them and it's usually one if the things I put up first.

The Hall Tree is the only pace I still have buffalo plaid and it suits the area so well. I added twinkling lights to the garland this year.

The main tree is new and such a 9 foot beauty with 3400 lights and 10 light settings. And How did I not know about Holiday Wallpaper on YouTube for your TV. It even plays music! I can't strop scrolling through them all, LOL!

Instead of doing a separate outdoor on the porch post, I just included a couple photos. The only thing that really changed was the garland around the door, I like it much better this year with the big pieces of candy and more balls. You can see last year's porch HERE.

I truly wish you could see it all in person. I often get down on myself that it’s not enough, that it’s not good enough all because of that darn social media. Some of you may have seen me talk about this on Instagram. However when I sit and bask in it all, I’m proud of my talents. Happy I can bring just a little bit of magic to our part of the universe and hopefully yours with his post.

I want my granddaughters to be

excited to come to Grammy's and want to sing

carols and bake cookies. LOL.

I hope my loved ones love it.

Stella Mae just loves her red pillow!

What's your Favorite?

Let me Know!
