FRIDAY FAVORITES THE MAGIC OF THE SEASON

Santa’s arrival is getting way too close my friends! Unfortunately, my December didn’t really get real festive until today when I host a brunch for friends this morning! I’m so excited! Oh, wait, we did have Mr. Nine’s work dinner on Wednesday night at Ruth’s Chris! And then there’s the botanical lights tonight and hopefully fingers and toes crossed not only can Mr. Nine and I do something festive this weekend, but finally see the twins since our sickness. We gave it a good two weeks just to be safe from seeing them.

1. Twins
It sure did make me smile to get pictures of them. It always does but even extra while we were sick. Don’t they look like precious dolls in these pictures?

2. Stella Mae Turns 2
Speaking of cuties, our precious, Stella Mae turned two on Monday! I can’t believe she left the sunglasses on. The tutu kept falling off, but we sure did get some cute pictures! Our lil Diva.

Remember when she was just 2 MONTHS?!

3. Outfits Lately
I didn’t actually wear these outfits out, but hopefully I will. It was to make an Instagram video showcasing the metallic flats I showed you last week from Cecilia New York. But let me note how cool the Rhinestone Bra is! It’s kind of like a corset from Amazon, so well-made, and just super sparkly and cool!

4. Oh The Dinner
We had a Christmas Party to attend Wednesday night. I wanted to get dressed up but Mr. Nine had his heart set on wearing out matching “Lights” outfits. More on these outfits next week. They were a huge hit, and the party was so much fun this is one of only a couple pics snapped. I’ll take festiveness form Mr. Nine wherever I can get it! lol

5. Misc. Fun

CHRISTMAS HOME TOUR 2023

Welcome to the Nine Home Christmas Tour 2023. I’m going let most of these pictures do the talking. Not much has changed but of course you know I always add a few trees every year. I literally could take and post hundreds of pictures, so I tried to just pick some of my favorites and I didn’t even take photos in every room that had decor this year.

We have  little tree for the twins with their
nicknames on it and 2 of every ornament

The most different thing to note is the candy Christmas corner in the kitchen. I’m so proud of it and it is even more precious in person. The darn nutcracker has a story behind it but let’s just say a little packaging tape and my MacGyver skills and we’ve got ourselves a free nutcracker, lol.

I probably should’ve done a blog post just on this area alone, lol. I love how the chair sashes turned out and the window garland.

I do still love the Christmas guest bedroom. The tree in there is new as the one we had last year broke. I just love this sweet, flocked candy tree!

If you look up to your left, you will see that I did the shower rod with the garland hack. It is not near as easy as it looks, and some of you may have seen me talk about my frustrations on Instagram. Nevertheless, when I woke up to it fallen on the floor the next morning, I was bound and determined more than ever to get it back up there to stay and stay it has! I do love it. The tree to the right of the door in red and champagnes is also new, and it fits in that spot perfectly.

I did change the place settings a bit in the dining room with peppermint dessert plates and homemade peppermint embellishments.

The Upper cabinet kitchen Christmas wreaths are still going strong after 5 years, I have 12 of them and it's usually one if the things I put up first.

The Hall Tree is the only pace I still have buffalo plaid and it suits the area so well. I added twinkling lights to the garland this year.

The main tree is new and such a 9 foot beauty with 3400 lights and 10 light settings. And How did I not know about Holiday Wallpaper on YouTube for your TV. It even plays music! I can't strop scrolling through them all, LOL!

Instead of doing a separate outdoor on the porch post, I just included a couple photos. The only thing that really changed was the garland around the door, I like it much better this year with the big pieces of candy and more balls. You can see last year's porch HERE.

I truly wish you could see it all in person. I often get down on myself that it’s not enough, that it’s not good enough all because of that darn social media. Some of you may have seen me talk about this on Instagram. However when I sit and bask in it all, I’m proud of my talents. Happy I can bring just a little bit of magic to our part of the universe and hopefully yours with his post.

I want my granddaughters to be

excited to come to Grammy's and want to sing

carols and bake cookies. LOL.

I hope my loved ones love it.

Stella Mae just loves her red pillow!

What's your Favorite?

Let me Know!

Stella Mae also happens to be
turning 2 today! Happy Birthday
Beautiful Girl!

Have a Beautiful Day my loves!

CHRISTMAS HOME TOUR 2022

Many of you have said that our home is magical at Christmas and indeed it is. See why I love staying home so much and basking in all the lights and the surrounding 18 trees. Plus there’s 5 on the porch, lol. I hope you saw the front porch decor post this year, it’s my favorite Christmas porch so far. I am showing you a lot of Christmas casa Nine but this post would be too long if I showed it all so these are some favorites.

Must host a Holiday Party

I do have two new trees this year, but other than that not a whole lot has changed. Subtle updated touch ups here and there.

The Dining Room is still one of my favorite areas. The addition of the red slip covers over the blue end chairs is a WOW factor.

LOVE the slim Cashmere trees flanking the buffet.

Yet Another dinning room tree.

The Christmas guest Bedroom is another favorite spot. The other new tree is in this room and I call it the "Candy Tree". If you come stay I'll leave a Candy Cane on your pillow, lol

Isn't she a Beauty!!! 6 footer from Amazon and
This Tree on sale right now too.

The Candy Cane garland at the end of the bed was fun and I added a red blanket this year instead of grey.

Here is a another new tree. Lots of reds, white and there is even a set of red high heels on it. Really LOVE the 24" Tree Skirt. The Flocked Pencil Trees are my jam!

I love all the red in the house so much since our palette is primarily gray and white. It just pops everywhere. I add lots of champagnes. I think the only rooms that I don’t have red in is the master bedroom and upstairs glam space/my office. Another slim flocked tree in the bedroom.

Oh how I love the pink glam area...this is the only tree
that stays up year round!

Adding the wreath to the stove vent instead of above the stove was smart, it got too hot from the oven and now it’s perfect!

The Hall Tree Area remains the same simply because i works so well here with the buffalo plaid.

Sweet SNOW tree in a basket.

Many of you have asked how long it takes me..about 45+ hours (guesstimate) but it used to be more until I got better at storing. The trees are easier because I take the picks out of some and simply wrap in packaging wrap, then cut right down the wrapping when I bring them back out.

Happy New Week from the one year old and I (Her birthday was yesterday)
We are headed out on a fun road trip today.
