Happy Friday Loves! My Mr. is off today and celebrates a BIG Birthday tomorrow. He’ll be spending it in his favorite place on the planet with our family and I couldn’t be more excited!! Goodbye June, Hello July..may it be full of Summer Sweetness! Let's get to it!

Tanya from The Other Side of the Road
Sweet Tanya blogs over at The Other Side of the Road and after getting to know her, I wished she lived across the road. What a fun neighbor she’d be! What a gem and an incredible mom and wife. Her kids, both teens named Grace and Jack, are smart, talented and beautiful inside and out just like their mama. Tanya lives in Texas and kept such an upbeat attitude when Hurricane Harvey damaged their home and they had to move out for months during the renovations. Did you now they lived in England for a time? You'll love her posts on her time there HERE and HERE. You will absolutely LOVE the story how she met her adoring husband Michael. Some of Tanya's favorite posts this year and mine included Their Spring Break trip to California and an awesome time seeing HAMILTON! Tanya is a fellow Amazon Prime lover like me as you know from my Monday Post. Her most recent Prime Purchases Post is just full of goodness!  2. Parade Of Homes and Our Barn Door
Mr. Nine and I had a day date last Saturday to our Parade of Homes. Local builders showcase one of their construction completions and have a week-long parade of all the homes for folks to tour. We’ve been going for years and last year, we got a lot of ideas for home. This year, we basically just went to talk with our builders and get decoration and landscape inspiration. Of all the homes one of our builders had our favorite one.
Look how excited I was to go and Mr. Nine's Chuck Taylor shoes matched my dress!

Absolutely love our new barn door! It’s actually a door just like our other craftman interior doors but put on the track with a nice chunky handle. It divides our master bedroom and the bathroom and closets.

I ordered this lightweight Boyfriend Shirt from JCrew Factory when I ordered this Gingham CUTE Top. The colors are beautifully muted and I can’t wait to wear it under a sweater this Fall. Great for cool evenings this 4th week too.

MAXI & DUPES, LINK-UP..OH AND FIXING BLOGGER


Maxi and Dupes, sounds like a kind of retro restaurant doesn't it? I always thought it would be fun to have a diner. Just love old school diners. Anyhow, today is the last Wednesday in our Style Perspective series. No fear, the rest of the summer we will be Freestylin'. Basically link-up anything fashion related, no pressure. Just a fun Summer Style Free Style!

Today the prompt chosen was office looks and since I no longer an in an office, rather a home office, I did manage to find something that I would've worn in the summer to the professional office scene. On this particular day, a day in a Lake town meant a breezy, easy and cute Maxi (under $30) with a jean jacket before it got warm. Those lake breezes always call for a cover up morn or evening. The "dupe" part comes in because these Sandal Slides are the Steven Madden dupes from Wal-Mart I told you about a few weeks ago. This was the first day I wore them and they are sooo comfortable!

It's also the last Wednesday in the month which means What's Up Wednesday. What's Up is that is summer is going waaaay too fast!

And LOVE this pic of our handsome boys from a few years ago on our annual beach vacay, super sad the middle one will not be with us this year as he chose a fishing trip to Minnesota instead. We will miss him. #Makingchoices #Raisingadultsnow

How to get comments made on your blog go to your email again.

Go into your design wall and on left hand side go into your settings and then click on email and then where you have your email address in the comment notification box, delete it and then save and then re enter your email address and save again.

Then you will get an email from blogger with a invitation to receive comment notification and then click on SUBSCRIBE and then your emails will start coming through to your email address. 

 Make SURE you hit SAVE when you delete your old email address and then re-enter the address and save it again.
IT WORKED!! YIPPIE!!
*Note: Some of the emails are going to my junk mail but it is working! I just mark it as not junk and it moves over into my inbox!

AMAZON FAVORITE PURCHASES...SUMMER EDITION

Ahhh Amazon Prime never gets old does it. Boom… need a spoon? On your doorstep in less that 48 hours! A few months ago, I brought you my Spring Amazon Purchases and it was so well received. I first saw this Brand on Tanya's Blog. I have been a fan of 
Vitamin C/Hyaluronic serum for years and this is the best one I’ve had and it’s under $20. Very important tip I got years ago; keep this serum in a cool dark cabinet in a pouch or dark container. I keep mine in a velvet pouch. The dark protects the color and potency.

My mom and I love pecan pralines but never make them. I got her this beautiful gift box of “9” of them for Mother’s Day and she shared with me. So good!

 7. Red and White Ball Drop Earrings
I love ball drop earrings and when I saw red and white, I knew I had to have them for 4th of July and since our son’s school colors are red and white, I’ll probably be wearing them to his football games this Fall too. They make a great gift as the packaging is so pretty. Under $10!

I first saw a pretty cross front bra on Shelly and went on the hunt. These are under $6 and come in tons of colors. There is no padding so I’ll probably wear another bra underneath but it will look so cute under button down shirts and sweaters. I love my Americana wear and how cute is this slouchy star sweater. Perfect for a cool beach night on vacay with a lacy bra underneath. Under $18!
