All their pieces are perfect, and I love that the colors in this are kind of muted so you can wear it beyond the holidays! It has pockets and just the other day, I wore to the grocery store and got several compliments!

Something very special happens tomorrow! This festive guy, the love and light of my life, turns 50! I praise the Lord for the day he was born and I’m so grateful to do life with him! Happy 50th to the man embedded in my heart forever! Cheers to Mr. Nine! And cheers to him turning the big 5-0 9 months and 3 days before moi, LOL!

FRIDAY FAVORITES...SUMMER I LOVE YOU

Oh, summer how I’m soaking you in! Happy Friday babes, I can’t believe it’s the last Friday in June already! And 6 months until Christmas, Whaaat?? Getting right to all the favorite Goodness....

1. Family Day in Lower Michigan

I’m going to let Most of the pictures do the talking but the members of my crew that are 21 and over had the best day in lower Michigan on Saturday! It turned out to be a beautiful day and we felt completely safe doing all the things, which are mostly outside! We started with a picnic close to Lake Michigan, jammin’ in the Vineyard at the round barn winery, we went into the Journeyman distillery for a fun snack and rounds of drinks and then it was to the Watermark for some more outside time with wine and brews.

I made quit the picnic spread including Monster Cookies!

No, I did not drink the Punch Bowl alone, lol

2. The YETI Bartender

"Strawberry Rhubarb Margarita"

This past week’s Yeti Bartender turned out so beautifully! I made a yummy syrup out of rhubarb and fresh strawberries which are in season here in Indiana, with a little Swerve sugar substitute and OJ, strained it and used it as one of the ingredients in this beautiful Strawberry Rhubarb Margarita! Recipe Below. The coarse sea salt around the rim was the perfect touch! You’ll love this one and you’ll have to go check out my Channel!!

I love Aerie clothing for comfort. Everything is always so soft the wearable! These comfy camo joggers even got a thumbs up from Mr. Nine, the desert colored sweatshirt is so pretty and soft and the jumpsuit is literally like wearing the perfect chic pajamas!

4. Universal "Dress" LOVE

I cannot even tell you how much I love this dress from Target! It is the Universal Thread line and the gauzy material is nice and cool, you can wear a regular bra with it and it’s so comfortable! It’s in that beautiful deep tangerine/hibiscus color that I just love!

FRIDAY FAVORITES....SWEET SUMMER

Summer officially arrives on the calendar tomorrow and we’re going to kick it off in style! Now listen here Mother Nature, keep that rain away! We are planning a family day out with the kids and their girlfriends including a picnic, live music outside at a winery and maybe some miniature golf at a local distillery and whatever else the lower Lake Michigan adventure brings us! Masks are ready to go, picnic basket packed, and outfit picked out, lol.

1. First Restaurant Since Covid-19

I can’t believe it, but we actually did it, we ate out for the first time since COVID-19 began. Now, granted it was dining alfresco by a lake, at 50% spacing but it just felt good to get served food and bask in the open air! Now, we had to go to another county to do this, I’m not sure I feel comfortable yet doing it in my own county as numbers are rising. On the way home, it was hats on, windows down, moon roof open and just cruising with the air in our hair!

2. The YETI Bartender

YUM! This week’s YETI Bartender was inspired by my favorite drink at Ruth’s Chris steak House! Every year, right before Christmas break ends, we go as a family to Ruth’s Chris and my mom and I always get pomegranate martinis! I was able to replicate it here and I hope you will check it out on my YouTube CHANNEL!
