Happy Friday Friends! I think we have finally crawled out of the polar vortex, the frigid tundra, lol! So cold kids that I did not go anywhere the first part of the week. Northern Indiana was clocking -26° windchill’s. I do have a plethora of fun Friday favs so let's get to it!
Snow
It absolutely was too cold to walk Monday through Wednesday, but when the snow fell on Thursday and it warmed up to a balmy 20°, only 16 windchill, I knew I had to get out and walk around the pond! Call me crazy, but I am one of those Midwest girls that absolutely loves the snow! Our House looked so pretty from my walk around the pond. #snowbunny
The Inauguration Fashion & Dub
And don't get all political on me, lol...
I’m particularly talking George W. Bush and the Fashion, lol.
Since it was a polar vortex day and everything was closed, I pretty much watched the entire inauguration from beginning to end until the national championship game came on. I have to say it was quite entertaining. I particularly loved George W. Bush. His expressions after they introduced him and when he was looking out at the audience like an excited Five-year-old, finding his family in the audience at the Christmas pageant were precious! Just watch the video, darling with his little winks!
Also Loved Carrie Underwood singing a cappella when the sound system wasn’t working. Stunning!
Outfits of Week
I have a feeling spring fashion is going to be good this year! All the beautiful colors! I am particularly loving the Free Assembly Line from Walmart! Everything is so high-quality on this particular line while it isn’t always on some of their other clothing. But here you have preppy vibes and quality construction like you would get from J.Crew. I ordered some of these pieces and I will be sharing next week!
Blast from Last
Since I was on sabbatical from blogging for eight months last year, I thought I would throw in a little blast from last year every now and then on Friday favorites. In May, Mr. Nine and I went to a George Strait, Chris Stapleton & Little Big Town concert at Lucas Oil stadium in Indianapolis. We had a blast and I particularly loved our outfits. Just look at Mr. Nine in his Stetson Hat. My Jumpsuit is from Show Me Your Mumu and it is such a great clothing line. It was so comfortable and flattering.
And my most favorite of all, hanging out with these two is the greatest joy of my life! They LOVE their lil Kitchen.

You rock that jumpsuit! Love all your cozy fashion too. That last shot of the twins is adorable!

Oh my, that is cold! But the snow does look beautiful on your house!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness it has been cold with you! It's good that you got to go outside in the snow, your house looks like a scene from a Christmas card! So pretty!
ReplyDeleteGeorge W. Bush did make me smile this week too, he looked so happy. Bless him!
You look amazing in the denim jumpsuit and the twins are just adorable.
It looks like the girls are cooking up a storm! The snow is pretty, but I hate driving in it. I am glad these frigid temperatures are leaving soon. Next week we can actually venture out!
ReplyDeleteI watch too for The Inauguration Fashion. I also caught GWB excitement as well. I thought the women looked amazing. Thanks for posting today
ReplyDeleteJD in that photo was in a HURRY to get into the building, lol. He was ready to be VP! I saw a meme about GW where he had this impish look on his face and it was something about HC making a stinky near him (I'm not describing it well but the meme was hilarious!!). You are rocking all your outfits! Alyssa went to a Wallen concert in TN earlier and she wore a denim jumpsuit similar to yours but the bottom of hers were micro shorts. I decided to NOT put that photo on the blog!! Looking forward to your Wal-mart post...Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteIt was super cold here too. Still cold but not below 0 now!
ReplyDeleteLove all the snow. Usha was my style winner. I need that Indiana beanie. I love those baby bottoms most of all. Love you friend. Sending many blessings your way. Happy Friday.

Your house looks like something out of a Hallmark movie! Love the fashion! Have a great weekend! - Morgan @mommyaboveall.com
ReplyDeleteYour snow photos are so pretty! President Bush made me laugh too. To be honest, I was disappointed in the fashion at the inauguration. On a brighter note, that photo of the twins in their kitchen is absolutely adorable, and I love your outfits! Have a glorious weekend, my friend! XO, Caroline
ReplyDeleteIt's been to cold in GA for this southern girl! HA That jumpsuit! Amazing!!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you are back to blogging! And yes, keep sharing some snapshots from last year! I did not watch much of the inauguration but I did notice the fashion too! I love the cold, really since I get to layer up and I love all of my scarves and jackets. I have walked or run every day this month and have learned how to layer as even Georgia has had some frigid temperatures.

Wow, and I thought it was cold here. I try to get all my runs outside and all of the tails and sidewalks have been frozen over since January 5th! It has made it interesting! I think it was just snow it wouldn't be as bad, but we got like 4.5" of ice with snow on top. I don't know when it'll ever all melt. OHHH, that denim jumpsuit is SOOOO gorgeous on you!

I love the snow but you won't find me out in the cold if I have a choice. I live in a very walking friendly neighborhood where you see the same people numerous times a day everyday day walking, usually with their dogs. We saw no one out on Tuesday and Wednesday which I am happy people were being smart.
ReplyDeleteI hardly left the house at all this week! I did have to venture out twice to act as chauffer but was so thankful I never had to leave the car (and for heated seats and steering wheels!).
ReplyDeleteI'm so over the cold and barely left the house either. Love all of your cozy outfits! The girls and their little kitchen is too cute!

Anytime you include photos of the twins makes me smile. I can't believe you got outside when it was that cold...good job.

What a lovely way to turn frigid weather into something magical! Your walk around the pond sounds serene, and it’s wonderful how much joy the snow brings you. Here’s to enjoying every snowy moment and staying cosy this weekend!
ReplyDeleteThose twins are cute as can be. I can't believe how cold you were this week. I love the Free Assembly line too, and am jealous that you saw George Strait! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteMy goodness what a snow! It's a beautiful sight but to be honest, give me sunshine any day! Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteThis was such a cod week for so many of us. We had snow and very cold weather this week. I’m glad we are finally thawing out. I love your jumpsuit and all of the fashion. The babies are adorable. Stay warm and enjoy the weekend.

Issued you while you were away! Hope all is well in your world!
ReplyDeleteI definitely missed you during your sabbatical! My son & new daughter-in-law went to Paris & Italy for their honeymoon back in June. I showed them your post about using a professional photographer in Paris. They have the most wonderful pictures from that experience. They also used a photographer in Rome.
ReplyDeleteThose Littles of yours are simply scrumptious! So happy you are back blogging!
ReplyDeleteGlad you're back. Babies are too cute! WM has been killing it lately!
ReplyDeleteI'm cracking up at you going for a walk when it was 20 degrees. 50 is probably my threshold, and that's only if it's sunny. Lol.
ReplyDeleteThat jumpsuit looks so good on you! Love the red boots too!
ReplyDeleteThat jumpsuit is everything!
