THINGS I USE EVERY DAY

Of course we all have our favorite things and some of those things truly do get used each and every day. I thought I would share with you a few things I use every day. Everything is linked throughout and it’s all in a collage at the end of this post.

Curling Iron

Ahhh my new Curling Iron! It’s literally the perfect size, and I love the twirling barrel. Even if I just put a curl or two on hair hanging down from my updo, this curling iron is one of the best I’ve ever owned. It’s especially nice when I do my hair in beach waves. And such a great price! I’ve been practicing doing them as well as my friend/hairstylist does!

Coffee Bean Grinder

Every morning, I have a cup of coffee and lately I have been grinding the beans every day so it’s nice and fresh. This is the perfect little Coffee Grinder that my mom got for us. I just love it.

My stainless steel coffee scoop is such a favorite too!

Dual Coffee Pot

Well, if we’re going to talk about coffee, we might as well talk about our favorite coffee pot ever! We have had this Cuisinart Pot with the built-in Keurig now for about seven years and we absolutely love it! We really don’t use the Keurig as much anymore, but my goodness this is a good coffee pot! My Barista, Mr. Nine, makes 12 cups every single morning. He drinks most of it and takes two big things of it to work but always leaves me a cup, lol. Then sometimes I use it again in the afternoon for a cup of decaf. You can even use the Keurig to heat up water for a cup of tea when I don’t feel like boiling it in the kettle.

Charging Stand

I am not one to really care or buy tech stuff, including chargers, lol. I leave that to Mr. Nine. Boy, did he find a good one. The Courant Charging Stand is a double duty charger. Not only does it charge my phone upright so I can still look at it. Talk on it and all that good stuff but it also charges my wireless AirPods at the same time.

Barefoot Dreams Blanket

That’s right, summer or winter spring or fall, my Barefoot Dreams Blanket has been my favorite for years! I especially love to curl up with Stella Mae laying on top of it. I was so excited when I saw Nordstrom Rack having these blankets at a fraction of the price over the holidays. I got one for our son’s girlfriend and I wish I would’ve gotten another. It’d be great to keep one in the car her to take to the recliner movie theater or if the car breaks down. The BEST!! makes such a great gift and while you’re at it, get a barefoot dreams Cardigan. I own three and love them!

Rug

This new Rug from is a gem! This runner is 8 foot long and under $50. I literally walk on it every day because it’s the rug in our utility room that goes out into the garage. It’s just the right amount of thickness and feels great on the feet. Plush yet firm if that makes any sense, lol.

Parker Pens

Mr. Nine got me hooked on Parker Pens years ago and now they are the only pens I use. I love that you can get them in a variety of colors. Black is a favorite too. My boys loved them so much that I got them some Personalized Parker Pens for Christmas. The colorful, four pack below was in my stocking this year and of course the pink is my favorite!

FitBit

How I love my FitBit. I’m on my 3rd. I don’t know what it is, but I just don’t want an Apple Watch. I love how skinny these are and simple too. The app is super easy to use and I’m challenged daily to get at least 10,000 steps and oodles of active minutes!

Underwear from Natori Bliss

Ok, there are occasional days where I don’t wear underwear and I usually wear an older pair at night, ha ha, but my everyday underwear for the past three or four years have always been the Natori Bliss Briefs. I have about two dozen pair in every color and they are literally the best!

I do want to acknowledge the devastation in California. The destruction is heartbreaking. I'm glad our government is on board 100% to help and rebuild and may we all pray for their peace and comfort.

AMAZON SOFT FALL SWEATERS

I really thought the cool temps were here to stay in Indiana and I was ordering all the sweaters. Going to probably have to wait a few weeks before I can wear them in the elements as this week, we are back up to the 90’s and over 100 heat index. It’s kind of unheard of for Indiana in September. I’m hearing the whole month is going to be warm and I don’t want it speeding up the opening of my mums that I haven’t even gotten yet, lol. The bad thing is the warmth of speed them up in the nurseries too. Oh, well, I’m still dreaming of it all and still gathering some fabulous Fall Sweaters. You can’t go wrong with a Pretty CREAM SWEATER and this is a good one!

Pink Short Sleeve

This PINK ONE has my heart big time! I just got it last week and wore it over the weekend. It’s such a good one and you can get the neckline in square and I believe in crewneck as well and lots of colors.

Blush Pink

This BLUSH PINK Cutie is so Flippin' soft! I love the drape of it!

Camel Crew

What makes this one unusual are the cable knit sleeves! Camel is always so perfect for fall and so versatile. LOVE this CAMEL CREW!

Brick Red Zip

This BRICK RED 1/2 ZIP is so pretty and I’m wearing it in the photo below. It's more of an orange rust in person but LOTS of colors! I love the zip neck and the big chunky collar.

Olive Green Short Sleeve

What’s the weather still warm, It’s kind of nice to pull out the short sleeve sweaters. This OLIVE GREEN ONE works really well with the long sleeve T-shirt underneath as well.

Fiery Red

The blouson sleeves just make this SWEATER, and the fiery red was my favorite! The HAT is from Amazon Too!

Extra: Pink T-Neck

I love this RIBBED SWEATER so much I ended up ordering it in three colors! The pink is still my favorite! I love that these cover my butt like the next one.

AMAZON SUMMER SWEET

Happy June my loves! I hope this sweet summertime is treating you great! I tend not to buy as much stuff from Amazon in the summer, but the things that I do buy are used often and definitely keepers! Here are a recent purchases to link-up with the fabulous Tanya and her monthly Prime Link-UP!

Electrolytes

I am a huge fan of electrolytes, especially with sodium. A doctor I follow on Instagram, who is brilliant, says that this is the first thing you should do when you wake up in the morning is drink a glass of water with electrolytes. These LMNT Electrolyte packets are delicious, and I just use a half of packet each morning. a lot of celebrities and people in the medical profession use these. I always feel better when I drink them.

Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner

Let me just tell you, this new toy has Mr. Nine mesmerized! The BEST pool cleaner you’ll ever find, and he researched and researched. When I told you about this robot on Friday, I did not realize he was able to purchase it from Amazon and I had several of you ask me for the link. It’s just amazing and actually super cool to watch.

Water Hyacinth Straw Braided Place Mats

I am so excited; we finally got an outdoor dining table and chairs for a section of our back patio. We’re going to be hanging a sunshade over the top with lights and I can’t wait to show it to you when it’s all finished. I do know I have my heart set on some rattan or water hyacinth place mats, and this is a really good price.

Tassel Earrings

I absolutely love any earrings with tassels. I have some similar to these that my mom got me in Florida that are mint, but I really needed a pair of aqua earrings and these tassel earrings are just darling!

Star Blanket

Oh, my Stars, you know my beloved Fourth of July holiday is coming up soon, and what a Great Blanket for a picnic, to watch the fireworks, to take to the beach. It comes in a blue shade and gray as well, but I just loved the red.

Book ~ The Girl He Used to Know

Another great Summer Read. I do love a hardcover book but it’s great when they go into paperback and if you want to purchase them, much less expensive, and nice to toss into your beach bag; not as heavy.

Sundress

I saw this Dress on Shay from Mix & Match Mama & fell in love, especially with how many colors it comes in. The shade is watermelon, and I cannot wait to wear it.

Swim Float

Too funny, I got another New Float ($15), but it didn’t fit right in my above Amazon Collage, but let me tell you, I love it. It’s the same brand that I showed you Last Month but this one lays down flatter and you feel like you’re actually floating on the water with a net underneath you. So relaxing.

Sun Tee AND KIMONO

STILL one of my FAVORITE AMAZON TEES above of all time. Lots of colors and just makes ya Happy! AND This Amazing KIMONO!

AMAZON ALL TIME FAVORITES

There’s Amazon finds and then there’s AMAZON FINDS! You know, those things that you buy over and over again or find yourself using all the time that you do a little “thank goodness I found this on Amazon!” Today in linking up with Tanya's popular prime purchases, I’m sharing some of my favorite Amazon buys of all time!

Necklace Set

I absolutely sound like a broken record on this but it’s hands-down one of my favorite Necklace Sets and I wear it at least three times a week. I have now had a set for over 2 years, and it has not tarnished. I bought a backup set just in case and I’ve given this set as a gift numerous times, and not one person has said it has tarnished yet! So lovely!

Rubbermaid Brilliance

You may remember me talking a couple times about my beloved flour, sugar, brown sugar, etc. set from Tupperware. I had those things with the hunter green lids for over 20 years, and I love them! But the lids are cracked, and no one was able to find me replacements. So, when I redid the pantry a couple years ago, I ordered these Brilliance Containers from Rubbermaid. I use them almost daily as I have lots of other things stored in them as well. I ended up buying about 20 in total, and they keep the pantry so nice and neat, keep the food fresh, and I just love them!

Car Guys Cleaner

NOT JUST FOR CARS! Car Guys Super Cleaner can literally clean everything! Talk about Power. And for under $20, you'll feel like your house has had a deep clean and even old dirt will be wiped away. Such good stuff! A SUPER cleaner for sure!

Cerave Eye Cream

Finally, an eye cream to help with puffiness! I really love but this Creave Eye Repair Cream seems to work just a little bit better and at such a great price point! It’s the ultimate #1 item on Amazon right now for a reason!

Kate Spade Sunglasses

I wear these Kate Spade Sunglasses almost on the daily. I am on my third pair. (Lost one and one as backup) My husband bought me a pair of these at Nordstrom several years ago for over $200 but on Amazon you can find them for a quarter of the price. They are literally the perfect sunglasses, and I always love the quality products from Kate Spade!

Checkered Door mat

I used the black and white Checkered Door Mat so much that I bought a backup. And then per the holidays, started buying in other colors. Love layering door mats with a checkered one underneath.

Affresh Products

I love all these products. From the coffee maker cleaning tabs to the ones for your washer and your Garbage Disposal: they are fabulous. But my favorite happens to be the Dishwasher Tabs. They truly make your dishwasher look sparling and brand new. And all these are so affordable!

Packing Cubes!

Hands-down in the top three of Amazon purchases! I bought my first set of packing cubes in 2019 and have used them so much; well of course for that little lack of travel there during the pandemic, but I loved them so much that I just bought a second set for our London and Paris trip. I thought that I could use one for one city and the other color for the other. The ones in the lavender are the same brand but they are considerably cheaper right now as I write this!

RePHresh Probiotic

I take digestive probiotics too but this RePHresh Probiotic is The Clinically Tested feminine probiotic developed by doctors to maintain vaginal health. I buy this monthly and it’s $10 cheaper on Amazon than in the store. Not all probiotics are the same. Some are used for digestive health and immunity but are not specific to vaginal health. So, it is important to choose a probiotic with strains clinically tested to balance yeast and bacteria, like RepHresh Pro-B for vaginal health. Knock on wood but I rarely have yeast infections anymore.

FEBRUARY AMAZON FINDS

Man, January Flew! But the short month of LOVE is here, and I have some great Amazon purchases to share! I honestly don’t think in the past two years, there has been one week gone by that I haven’t received a package from Amazon. That makes it very easy to join these wonderful link-ups with my dear friend, Tanya and her monthly Amazon link-up! Everyone lives em’! Let’s get to it!

IT Eye Cream // Gold Chain Set // Eyelashes // Lash Glue Liner // Joggers // Balloons // Tin of Tea // Swell Water Bottle

IT Cosmetics Eye Cream ~ my friend Annie had some of this EYE CREAM when we stayed together in San Diego and she said she loved it. I must say I am now in love as the cream is nice and thick and a tiny bit goes a long way and really keeps my eyes moisturized.

Chunky Necklace and Bracelet Set ~ the chunky chain length jewelry trend is not going away anytime soon. This Bracelet and Necklace Set is so gorgeous and what a price!

Eyelashes and Glue ~ as you may know I used to use the magnetic lashes that I did also purchase from Amazon but my whole life changed when I found the Lash Glue Liner and Thin Band Eyelashes called MLBB (my lash but better) in "so real." I cannot even feel these on, and I can get them on in 30 seconds. Tutorial on Instagram to come soon.

Joggers ~ this color is a gem! So soft and from Amazon’s own essentials line! Love These Joggers to pieces!

Balloons ~ the season of hearts means some pretty Mylar Heart Balloons. I’ll use these for a heart wall and do some photos in front. This color mix is really pretty!

Harney & Sons Tea ~ I have been a fan of This TEA for several years, but it was solidified last April when my mom and I went to a teahouse for my birthday, and this is what they served. I normally add Stevia and oat milk to my tea, but this is so flavorful, that it doesn’t need a thing! I LOVE IT!

Swell ~ this Water Bottle is a must for travel. I get thru security then go fill up at one of the airports filtered water stations. I got my gal pals one on a trip to Nashville a few years ago but recently couldn’t find mine. So happy they still make this pretty pink topaz so I could replace it.

Quarter Zip Outfit ~ I ordered this outfit and love! Here is the Quarter Zip with the above joggers and what a great athleisure, running around outfit!
