QUESTIONS TO PONDER & WHEN YOUR DOG IS CONSTIPATED

When your dog is constipated....Yes, I said that and I wanted to begin this post by bringing you guys the best tip for your fur babies and perhaps yourself! There is now proof that our dog Daisy is definitely my daughter. Cue in the pumpkin purée! As you know, I'm pumpkin crazy. A couple weeks ago we started noticing Daisy was having some problems in her back end (if you know what I mean) due to degenerative discs and arthritis. For the constipation, it was recommended to give her pumpkin purée! Not only is it good for them but it works like a charm. Little hint, pull their ears back while eating it as her white fur was a little orange, lol.

There's your friendly PSA for the day, now onto other things you may be pondering. Well, you may not be pondering these questions, but I am and once you hear them, you might go, "yeah, I wondered that too!"

1. Do you think Brad Pitt cheated? Press says "no" but I mean, he did it to Jen, do you think he did it to Ang?

2. Why are there no "B" Batteries?...AAA.AA, C, D...NO B??

3. I'm worried about commenting on some blogs. On a few lately, I've gotten this message and then Bam...I start getting unwanted insurance email in my mailbox. I'm sorry but anything unsecured, I probably won't leave comments anymore.
Anybody else get this?

4. Cell phones are scaring me...how did it know we just parked 10 minutes ago or that I like Target?

5. Is it just me, or are there other people who don't want EITHER candidate
to win? #election2016

Anyone see this SNL skit this weekend? At this point, I'd rather have one of them, lol!

6. Why do people think they get the flu from the flu shot? This drives me nuts. I work in a hospital, you DO NOT get the flu from the flu shot. You may feel a little malaise and have some slight aches and a sore arm but the actual flu....NO. Trust me, you do not want the flu(s) that this shot protects you against. Another PSA: Get your flu shot!

7. Why do they call little candy bars "Fun Size?" Wouldn't it be more fun to get a BIG one?
And again, is it me, or do I feel like this guy is gonna say "Word To Your Mother!"?

8. Why is Pumpkin Spice Cream Cheese such a Hot commodity in Northern Indiana? I went 3xs to get some and out of stock every.single.time... until I nabbed the last one last Thursday.

and WHERE ARE THESE??? HELP...I CANNOT FIND THEM ANYWHERE??

9. At The Movie Theater, which arm rest is yours?? Dilemma!

10. When does it stop being partly cloudy and start being partly sunny?

  1. Oh my gosh you're too funny! Yes it would be way more fun to get a bigger sized candy bar and yes to the partly cloudy/partly sunny...is it when there is more chance of rain!? Hope you have a great start to your week girl! xo, biana -BlovedBoston

  2. Love this post! I'm not sure about Brad and Angie....I never liked her. I loved the cover of the Post?? with Jennifer Anniston laughing haha! And I'm with you...don't want either candidate to win. Happy Monday, friend!

  4. This post gave me a big smile! I gotten those insecure pop ups when I've tried to leave messages and I've also starting getting an abundance of spam email when I opted to still comment. Yes to renaming the extra large candy bars to fun size! Have a wonderful Monday!

  5. haha! Loved this post, Andrea! As for pumpkin and dogs, I have heard that pumpkin is really good for their stomachs. I didn't realize you could give them straight pumpkin puree! And yes, why are pumpkin spice M&Ms such a hot commodity...I cannot find them anywhere either?! Happy Monday!

  10. haha thanks for the laugh this morning. Partly sunny, partly cloudy totally drives me crazy. Plus, you never know if it will be hot or cloud. The weather is so bipolar! I need to find those M&M's, have not seen them at all. Happy Monday!

  11. This post makes me happy for all kinds of reasons. Love knowing what is going on in your head. ;) I need those M&M's too! I haven't gotten that message yet when commenting. Who knows!

  12. Glad that Daisy is feeling better! Mac's food has pumpkin in it and he loves pumpkin. I never realized it helped with that too. Does that work for humans as well? Just curious haha. Ummmm I seriously am terrified about our choice for presidency. I totally do not see either candidate being fit to run our country. Trump is a crazed idiot that other countries will see as a joke and there is no telling how much he would mess up and Clinton is a lying shady murderer and she cant be trusted either. Woof. I haven't gotten that notice leaving comments on any blogs that is weird. You aren't getting it with mine, right?

  13. OMGosh! The answers to life's questions!! I so hope this means that Daisy is better! I've been meaning to text to ask, but unfortunately I no longer have your number! I switched over to the iPhone this weekend and lost all my contacts! Boo! Happy Monday, Sista!!

  14. I dont think you get the flu from the flu shot but I'm not a fan of the flu shot at all. All my coworkers that get the flu shot, they STILL get the flu every year. Seriously. I know this is a hot topic debate item :)
I am with you - make the SNL Hillary president please ;) haha
I never thought of the batteries not having B... weird!!!
I put pumpkin in my dog's food at least once a week - just a spoonful. They LOVE it.

  15. Oh, your poor doggy! My dog Mylo had constipation a few years back and it's definitely no fun! As for your questions, gosh,...these made me smile. I don't think Brad cheated on Angie but I do think he has some major problem no one knew about it. Happy Monday, babe!

  16. The title of this post made me LOL. But thank you for the tip, I will keep this in mind for my Ginger's tummy troubles. I have always wondered about the arm rests, B batteries and why we can't call it partly sunny too! I hope you find those m&m's, they are right up your alley! Have a great day

  17. This is hilarious. Definitely some good questions. I haven't had the unsecured message yet but I wouldn't be leaving any comments on those either. #SayNoToJunkMail

I don't really know what I think about Brad/Angie. All I know is that it wouldn't surprise me if he did it to her because "if they'll do it for you they'll do it to you" ... but I also never understood why people looked up to them either. I mean can you really have a solid relationship that starts based on infidelity??

As for the election. I'm not voting for either. I'm voting for Gary Johnson. I do not like Trump or Clinton & do not subscribe to the "a 3rd party vote is a wasted vote" or "a vote for a 3rd party is a vote for *insert whichever candidate you don't like here*

    Have a great week!!

  18. OMG I totally LOLed when I saw the title of your post!!!! SO many things to say!

    1. Why ARE there no B batteries?! I work for a battery company and it has never occurred to me to ask why they skipped B. Lol.

    2. OMG, I hope my blog isn't one of the ones giving you that error. If it is, PLEASE let me know!

    3. Ugh, people thinking that the flu shot makes them sick... no words for that one. I get mine every year and never once has it made me sick!

    4. The election - no words for that one either. #WereInTrouble

  19. Poor duggy! I've heard that about the pumpkin, from Emily actually. She said it's done wonders for Miss Lola! So good to know! And lol about the batteries, Brangelina (girlfriend had it coming), and the election. This Gary Johnson character needs to pick up more steam in the next month, because so many of us do not like the 2 main candidates at all. It shouldn't be a lesser of 2 evils choice. As for the M&M's I usually see that flavor at Target ;-)

  20. Oh and a huge ditto on the flu shot! The only years I haven't gotten it I ended up so ill. So important to protect yourself and those around you!

  21. Ha ha, these made me laugh. The election...ugh. I'm just ready for it to be over. And thanks for the tip on the pumpkin. Our old girl Rosie is almost 12, and I'm sure this will be helpful at some point in the future.

  22. Oh your poor pup! Glad to hear that the pumpkin helped! Oreo has definitely had pumpkin before to help with tummy troubles too!

This year's election options... yuck. The debate was just depressing to watch.

So I've never had the flu (knock on wood!!) so I've never bothered to get the flu shot, but the more I've read about herd mentality (basically how me getting vaccinated can help protect other people), the more I realize that I should probably go ahead and get the shot. So I'm going to do that this year! :)

  23. Haha! I've thought about a few of these for sure! And my oh my..I need to find those M&M's and if I do...I'll have to send you some, lady!
I've been getting so much spam email lately...also insurance related, so weird!

  26. Such important questions, Andrea! We all were thinking them too! :)

  28. I couldn't help but chuckle at the title but seriosuly this is stuff I need to know! We feed Lola half kibble and half pumpkin puree every night just to keep her weight maintained (recommended by the vet) but good to know about constipation too. Her ears aren't long enough to get in the way but she definitely comes out with a pumpkin beard after! Fun, fun! lol Thanks for reminding me to get my flu shot especially since it's free with my insurance.

  29. Haha! I have missed coming over and reading your posts! I loved this one!!!

  30. YES, YES, YES about candy bars! Why would it be fun to have LESS candy? I never see that message when commenting, but I get similar messages for other things. I just ignore them and no problems have ever come from it.

  31. This whole post made me smile. I give our dogs treats made with pumpkin and the pet store said it was good for their digestion - so there you go. I'm thinking Brad is guiltier than he admits to. And I don't want Clinton or Trump as our president - can't we just start over? Hope you have a wonderful week, sweet friend!

  32. Oeh I am having breakfast! Haha, what a snicker bar!

  33. I had never heard of the pumpkin trip until a few weeks ago! My friend’s vet told her to do this and it helped! Good to know. Thanks for linking up!

  34. Poor Daisy . . . hope she's feeling better! I loved these. Another one I always ponder - why do we drive on our parkways and park on our driveways?!? Riddle me that! And so far I haven't seen that alert message - and I hope I don't!

  35. Thanks for the chuckles.
Our vet recommended a little evening snack of pumpkin for our Sadie. Guess it's a good thing. '-)
