THE NINE'S FALL DECOR

So, my taste in home decor is somewhere between Jo Jo & Chip meets modern meets warm and cozy. I am 100% a white trim girl but unfortunately, our home has oak trim and oak doors which some people absolutely love but it's my least favorite aspect of the home. However, in the Fall and at Christmas is when our home absolutely comes to life with our rich tones of browns, reds and orange mixed in. As you know, I love decorating for the Fall and with the candles burning and dim lights glowing, you talk about cozy! Mr. Nine and I are staying put a few more years as we love our location until the boys are out of college and then we'll move on to her dream home(s), hopefully on water.

In the meantime, here is a little peek into our cozy home's Fall decor.
And this is just the living and dining area, lol

From back 20 years ago when I collected Longaberger Baskets...my favorite basket ever....the Pumpkin One and one of the few I still have.

Let's talk favorite Fall decor purchase of the year!! These leaf placemats and pumpkin napkin holders with two colors of orange napkins, all found at Pier One.
Layered Maple Leaf Placemats HERE and Pumpkin Napkin Rings HERE
I put them on top of some neutral placements so they really stand out.

HAPPY MONDAY FALL LOVIN' FRIENDS!!

xoxo

I got my fall wreath out this weekend but that's about it for me. Waiting a few more weeks for the mums because it's suppose to be 90 degrees later this week! So ready for fall!!

  17. I was just thinking to myself that I need to pull out some fall decor. Jax and I may work on that tonight. Of course we first need to pick up all of the train tracks, trucks and tractors so we can decorate... so it might be tomorrow before we actually get anything up ;-) I love that football pumpkin! I need to get one of those!

  18. I love your decor! You do an amazing job. That football pumpkin is awesome. I remember Longaberger baskets lol. One of my friends' moms used to sell them growing up so we had a few in our house & she had them all over hers.

  19. Wow! So beautiful. Fall is my favorite time to decorate, but I have done nothing yet. I'm inspired by all your pretty things!

  20. Love everything about this! And YES to Longaberger baskets! I have so many around the house, my mom sold them for 18+ years. I think at one point my friends and I went around and counted and there were at least 100 of them around our house, crazy right? I'm loving all of your Fall decorations and it's really making me want to decorate STAT!

  23. I love all your fall decor!!! I am with you on my feelings on decor. I fall between fixer upper/french country chic/with some modern/traditional thrown in. I get a lot of my decor from TJ Maxx, HomeGoods and Kirklands.

  24. Your house is all ready for fall and looks so cozy. I could just curl up with a great blanket in there. I only got a few things out this weekend and realized we wanted to put some finishing touches in our den before officially decorating. There's just something about decorating a mantel to me. And I love Chip and Jo Jo's style! Beautifully Candid

  25. Your decor makes me swoon! I felt like I had tons of decor when we were in apartments, but now in a house I'm thinking that's not the case! And yet, I still don't think I have enough surfaces to spread out our decor enough.

  26. So, so cute!! I decorated for Fall last Friday and am loving it! Definitely more cozy...now only if our weather would cool off a bit here! I'm particularly loving your Harvest banner!! Adorable! I think my mantle needs a banner! Hope you're having a great Monday!

  29. So fun and festive! I especially love your mantel. :) I haven't done ANY decorating but I really want to. I'm so bad about it because I'm so indecisive about how I want to decorate plus know Halloween is right around the corner so its like should I just put up the Halloween stuff? I love yours and feel completely inspired to get my butt in gear and decorate :)

  31. I do love the warm tones of Fall to decorate with although I own very little for Fall other than those yummy pumpkin candles and some Thanksgiving decor. You have quite the variety and so many cute details that scream fall! I would love to walk through your house around this time of year although I'm sure your Christmas decor is just as fabulous!

  34. Love all your fall decor! So cozy! I have all of mine out with the candle burning...and the AC cranked up so it doesn't feel like summer! I know what you mean about all the warm colors. The previous owners of our house absolutely loved brown, and painted lots of the trim in tan tones. One of these days I'll paint it white again! Have a great week!

  38. Your home is so warm, cozy and inviting! I love it all, Andrea. Since I started watching Chip and Joanna, I have fallen in love with the rustic look too, but with a touch of modern/glam. If that makes any sense at all. I have to say...it can be hard mixing the two together...so I'm glad we have tons of time to buy decor and get to decorating.
