Ya know moms, moms to be, wives and girlfriends when you're feeling under appreciated, like you do, do, do and no one even notices. I feel that way a lot with my kids. However, out of the blue on Tuesday, I got this text: My son at college sent me a text with a cartoon of himself for his ole' mama. Melted my heart....
.... made me realize that even when I feel I am not appreciated, I am.
And I appreciate each and every one of you sweet friends!! Happy Weekend!!

ReplyDeleteAdore all your cute outfits. And yes, just when you least expect it and feel unappreciated something like that happens. For instance, hubby had mentioned last night making pancakes for breakfast, so I assumed he was staying home today, or working from home for a bit. A girlfriend called to ask if I was free tmrw to "play", maybe go antiquing. I told her I'd see as I thought he planned to be home and didn't want to ditch him. He insisted I go, he had work to do. Ok. I get home after a nice morning and lunch out to find he'd cleaned the house! Say what??? I said I thought you had work to do, he said, I did. Gotta love him!!
Love that bordeaux color on you, and the pumpkin spice art is so fun. Lucky you with temps in the 50s in the mornings. We are still ranging from 78 in the morning to 95 in the afternoon. We're supposed to get a break next week with some mornings in the 60s. I can't wait!! Have a great weekend!
