FALL FRONT PORCH 2023

A favorite part of my year is going to farm stands and getting my pumpkins and mums to decorate the front porch. Do you love decorating outdoors for Fall? As you know, I do a different color scheme each year. The pinks and purples of my porch in my post from 2020 were my favorite ever so a return to pink hues it was.

A friend of mine told me that my pink frenzy mums were fitting seeing as I was having two twin granddaughters! A huge bonus was that my pink bubblegum petunias in the ground were still looking good, so they blended together so nicely.

I kept it simple by the door with just my ferns (still going strong) and some pumpkins as well as the year round lanterns and a white pumpkin wreath.

Kept the side porch simple too, love the Pink Velvet Pillow Covers. And of course the Striped Rug and never ending love for the Nantucket Rocking Chairs.

I’ve known for an entire year that I wanted Pink mums but I wasn’t able to find the variety I wanted, but a Michigan greenhouse told me these hot pink were quite the seller. I really like them Although they bloomed earlier than I wanted them to due to our hot weather.

This year I also added in some cabbage with purple centers and I new to me Fall plant called the Fall Celosia.

What do you think? I happen tho love it and it's one of my Favs but next time I go for a pink scheme I'm looking harder for even BIGGER mums, LOL.

And because I am so proud of them, linking several of my past Fall Front Porches Here:

(This particular year I was so excited decorating this porch of the first time that I got pics way too soon before the mums fully bloomed.)

Hence why we shorten it to "mums!" LOL

FALL INDOOR DECORATIONS 2023

Decorating for Fall! How I love it! Almost as much as decorating for Christmas but don’t worry I’ll wait, lol! I really was only going to decorate a couple areas inside this year but after I got going with the rusts and navy and cream, I was all about it!

Fireplace

You may remember from my Fall indoor decor posts, that I normally have a great big wreath with pumpkins that goes above the fireplace, but it just didn’t mesh well with the colors and the blue glass vases, so I just left up the fabulous Let’s Stay In wood sign as the focal for the fireplace.

Always like, adding in a little bit of lights somewhere and there’s something about setting a Pumpkin on top of a candle stick that makes me happy! You’ll see two of those pumpkin arrangements in the house that I made last year and this post. Big Velvet Pumpkin at Hobby Lobby, Little Rust, Dollar spot at Target!

Nook

I keep thinking I’m going to get another chair for this corner, but I just love it so much and it will be replaced by a Christmas tree in a couple months but just adding a rest, blanket, a fall pillow and some great stems and a big rattan vase looks so FALL fabulous.

Here's another cute corner. Velvet Pillow HERE, Hey Pumpkin HERE

Hall Tree

This was an area I wasn’t going to do but when I opened the upper cabinets, I saw that I had bought two navy and white pumpkin pillows from the dollar spot at Target, so I had to go with it. I had the perfect Pillow Covers to go behind. I got the 6ft Blue and Orange Fabric Pumpkin Garland at Michael’s. Just added in some Hobby lobby stems, and my spray painted me the pumpkins above that I had on the porch last year.

Console Table

This is very similar to last year, but adding in the velvet rust pumpkins made me so happy. Some of these items I had in a bedroom last year, but they worked just perfectly for my fall colors.

Dining Room

Saving my favorite for last! For some odd reason, I always think that napkins with napkin rings need to be on top the chargers and plates, but when I couldn’t find any napkin rings, I liked and have been eyeing the plates from Hobby lobby for the past couple years, I knew I was in luck when I found the metallic rust napkins to go under them. This came together so sweetly.

Not only do I love rust in my home decor, but I love it in my fashion, too, lol. What do you think of the colors? Do they blend nicely in the household? Do you have a favorite? Have you decorated inside for Fall yet? Or do you not and just wait til Christmas? Let me know!

Check out how I use to Decorate

for Fall in This Post!

Happy Almost Fall y'All, although I start Fall September 1st, lol!

THE NINE'S FALL DECOR

So, my taste in home decor is somewhere between Jo Jo & Chip meets modern meets warm and cozy. I am 100% a white trim girl but unfortunately, our home has oak trim and oak doors which some people absolutely love but it's my least favorite aspect of the home. However, in the Fall and at Christmas is when our home absolutely comes to life with our rich tones of browns, reds and orange mixed in. As you know, I love decorating for the Fall and with the candles burning and dim lights glowing, you talk about cozy! Mr. Nine and I are staying put a few more years as we love our location until the boys are out of college and then we'll move on to her dream home(s), hopefully on water.

In the meantime, here is a little peek into our cozy home's Fall decor.
And this is just the living and dining area, lol

From back 20 years ago when I collected Longaberger Baskets...my favorite basket ever....the Pumpkin One and one of the few I still have.

Let's talk favorite Fall decor purchase of the year!! These leaf placemats and pumpkin napkin holders with two colors of orange napkins, all found at Pier One.
Layered Maple Leaf Placemats HERE and Pumpkin Napkin Rings HERE
I put them on top of some neutral placements so they really stand out.

HAPPY MONDAY FALL LOVIN' FRIENDS!!
