I don’t even know where I saw the Fall display of rust in navy, might have been Hobby Lobby, but the minute I did I was smitten! I knew that’s what the Fall porch 2022 had to be!
And of course adding in lots of white pumpkins.I made my own wreath with some navy and rust and white pumpkins and went from there.
Instead of my black and white buffalo checkered front door mat I went with navy and white with just my fall sisal rug over it.
The showstopper is always the steps of mums and pumpkins but my darn white mums just were not opening this year. I always like to buy my mums closed so the last longer but I think these might have been too closed. Plus, it took so long that I had to get rid of my original smaller mums which had turned more of a orange anyway to replace with some rust ones.
Usually I know months ahead of time how I’m going to do my Fall porch but it was literally up in the air until about mid September this year. However the good news is I know exactly how I’m doing it next year and I cannot wait BUT first onto the next 2 1/2 months of my favorites for decorating of the year!
My Fall front porches have always been a huge hit.

ReplyDeleteI just LOVE the rust and navy together!! Your wreath is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love this unexpected twist on the typical fall colors! The navy is such a cute addition. I've had trouble with my mums this year too. I always buy them closed, and my purple ones are taking the longest time to open, even weeks later :( Have the best time leaf peeping - literally my favorite kind of trip (as you know!) xo
ReplyDeleteYou have such a talent with decorating Andrea,
