Happy Monday!
I hope you all had a great weekend!
Blogging has changed my life, for the better. It has brought me new ways of
looking at things, food, life, outfit and beauty inspirations, laughter and new
friendships. I knew I started this journey of knocking out 5 posts a week
because I loved reading your Blogs. What I didn't know, was how obsessed I would
become over certain things. Here are 9 things I've been obsessing about since
becoming a blogger.
1. RAIN
Well, rainy days to be exact. That means I can knock out some blogs posts in my comfies with my tea or coffee and not
2. UNFOLLOWERS
Oh crap, I checked Bloglovin and I lost 3 followers. What did I do? I hope I didn't offend someone or they got bored with me. Ha! Was my skirt too short? Did I use a term that's no longer "relevant"? Yeah, I need to get over it but I genuinely like my followers.
3. COMMENTING
Speaking of Bloglovin, I jump on every morning and can't wait to read your posts and give you a big ole' comment. It's important to give feedback and I want you to know I really like what you have to say or what your cookin' or wearin'!!!
4. RECEIVING COMMENTS
I won't lie, when that email comes in telling me I have a new comment, I get so excited. To the point where I panic if I can't return your email right away. I love hearing your opinions and your sweet words always make my day brighter.
5. FLOPPY HATS
I wasn't really into floppy hats until blogging. Luckily they're great for bad hair days but I'm really obsessed with why they look so much better on everyone but me? They're everywhere in Blog Land. LOL
6. TARGET
Oh Never Mind....I was already obsessed with Target. LOL You do have to admit, bloggers LOVE Target and featuring stuff from there, but can you blame us? It rocks....remember that Target Post?
7. LINK-UPS
Why do I get so excited when I see this dang frog?? Anybody else feel that way? I gotta link up, I gotta link up.
8. TWITTER
Can you believe a year ago, I had no idea how to use Twitter and never would have thought of using the # symbol for anything other than pound or number. #WHAT? Now, I sing right along with this little bird called Twitter and love reading my feed full of goodies.
9. POSSIBILITY
I'm obsessed with possibility and what it brings. New finds, new friends, new ideas, new ways of doing things and seeing the world through others eyes. Possibilities of blog posts and how to achieve them. So fun & refreshing and makes me feel like I can accomplish anything in my little ole' Midwest world!
Are there things you've become obsessed with because of Blogging or even from reading Blogs?
I'd love tho hear about it!!
xoxo

This is so true! I love that blue frog as well! And it is so fun to read comments and get feedback from my blog friends! Have a great week my lovely friend! Susan
ReplyDeleteThank you Susan! I hope your week is off to a terrific start!! :-)
DeleteFun post Andrea! I know that I changed my settings in Blogger because I was a no-reply blogger, but I don't think that you are getting an email notification that I have commented. :-( I always enjoy reading your posts though and I love your sunny attitude! I hope that you had a wonderful weekend and that you have a great day today!! :-)
ReplyDeleteYou too Caroline! I hope your week is off to a terrific start!!! :-)

ReplyDeleteI noticed that on your Blog.
DeleteAfter the initial "it's raining" disappointment you were probably doing a lil "yay get my blogging on!" lol. Happy Monday beautiful!!!
Visiting from the link up! It's rainy in my corner of the world today and I'm planning on spending a large part of the day preparing blog posts and checking a few other things off my blogging to do list!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great plan Donna! Enjoy the day and be productive but have fun too!!! :-)
DeleteYes to everything in this post, especially the comments! I get so crazy thinking about how I need a second away from a work meeting to comment back! I nominated you for the Versatile Blogger award my sweet friend! XO -Kim

DeleteI love this ha. The comments & rainy days are so true. It's overcast now but it was raining earlier so I grabbed my laptop & thought "time to read/comment on blogs & get some scheduled for the rest of the week!"
ReplyDeleteLove it girl! Get that blogging on! I hope your day is fabulous Brianne!!
DeleteI agree with all of this! I can't wait till Bill and I are no longer long distance and rainy days can be spent blogging! Hopefully soon!

ReplyDeletePerfect idea!!! I hope you have an amazing Monday!!
DeleteYESSSS to Target! Although my undying love for that place was established long before entering the bloggy land. And I always feel the same way when I lose followers, I wonder what I did :-P
ReplyDeleteToo funny Kate. Their loss, right?!!! :-) hope you're have a happy Monday!! xo
DeleteYou are so right on all of those! Before blogging, I had no intention of getting a Twitter, but know I use it all the time, and it really drives traffic to my blog. I love commenting and getting comments, too! Link-ups are always super fun! I have probably become obsessed with reading other peoples blogs, and fashion trends, and Lilly Pulitzer.

Isn't it funny how it changes our lives! I hope you had a wonderful weekend sweetie!
DeleteAfter thinking about your post a few hours after I read it, I thought of another thing that I became obsessed with: Fonts. Who new I would be the Font Queen. I love fonts and can name lots of them. It's kind of weird. :)
DeletePossibility is definitely the icing on the big old sweet-as-can-be blogging cake. I'm so glad to have found you and have you in my blog/real life :)
ReplyDeleteAww, so nice! My sweet southern Shelby always makes me smile!!! Happy Day love!!!!
DeleteI will have to agree with you on all of these things. And the floppy hats. I look ridiculous in hats. RIDICULOUS!!!
ReplyDeleteHa ha!! Why do some people look awesome in them? We must have weird heads. When I wear a black one I just look like a scarecrow. Lol
DeleteHappy Monday, my gorgeous friend! Yes, those comments are the best, and I certainly love yours!
ReplyDeleteSending you much love & hope all is well!

ReplyDeleteThank you gorgeous Hollie!!! Hope you've been having a fabulous day sweets!!
DeleteYou are so cute <3 Target made me laugh :) I remember the day I got the first comment! Basically the best day ever :)
ReplyDeleteI know, feels good to make others smile! Hope you've enjoyed a lovely day today pretty girl!!
DeleteSuch a great list Andrea! I've only been blogging for a year, but I get so excited when I see new comments or link ups! So glad I found our blog. Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it funny, wonderful and strange how blogging can change our lives? I found you on Katherine's Corner. I'm not on Bloglovin' or WordPress, which can be a drawback because you don't connect as easily as when you have your own site. Everyone thinks 1010ParkPlace is a big company, but it's just me, a techie and a photographer who works for free. So glad to have found you!

Cute post...and I also love the smell of possibility in the morning. Thanks for sharing with the Thursday Blog Hop!
