MINI GLASSES = BREWERY LOVE

Ahh, a craft beer. It really is a work of art says the
"I don't really like Beer" girl.

It all started a few years ago when we drove 2 hours to a try the rising Brewery trends in our region. My husband had been to many a brewery when he traveled more, but the concept was new to me.
Blonde that I am, I said "but do they really let us in the warehouse where they make the beer?" With a hint of cute sarcasm, Husband replies "oh but not only can you see through the glass where the beer is made, you drink it and even eat there too!!
Was already winning when we walked into the loft style brick clad walled building on Main!!

Now, I am a fan of anything miniature (well not everything wink😉wink😉) and I was somewhat dreading the big ole mug of a beer I didn't know with a crazy high alcohol content being sat in front of me thinking "Do I really have to drink this all?"
So imagine my giddy delight when set on the rustic topped table in front of me was a flight of the cutest mini glasses of beer you'd ever seen!! and they were even different colors. So cool. Needless to say, I still didn't drink them all, husband had to finish. But I was hooked!!

We occasionally try a new Brewery closer to home or when we travel  as it seems they are popping up everywhere. One time my we talked about having a "hops" farm. With a pair of overalls and a sprig of hops between my teeth, I'm in...not.

But my friend, Breweries are soooo much more than Beer.
Here are FIVE reasons we love Breweries and bet you will too!

The industrialized chic decor.
Who doesn't love Edison light-bulbs?

The often Farm to Table deliciously homemade food!
This past weekend I had a homemade chorizo sausage, sweet potato and kale skillet with an apple vinaigrette.Yummo

They are very Kid friendly. Lego tables, kids menus, ginger or root beer

Little too much root beer boys!

It makes my husband happy.
Evidently, there's beer and then there is "good" beer. I use the analogy to chocolate.
There's chocolate like Hershey's or Dove and then chocolate like Vosges, Jacques Torres or Lindt. All good but some just a little more crafted. Nice for a man to hear every now and then:
"I don't feel like steak or sushi, let's go get some good beer!"
And did I mention the MINI GLASSES!!
Cute cute cute...

Well, not this tiny
Bah, ha ha!!
