O’ Luck of the Irish to you. Being a huge Notre Dame fighting Irish fan, of course I was going to decorate my TRAY for St. Patrick’s Day! I am as happy as a little leprechaun with how it turned out!
Make sure you check out the 2020 St. Patrick's Day Tray!
Lots more updated items there!
As you may recall, for Valentine's Day I just added some red and valentine goodness to what I had on my tray for every day. However, I found so many cute St. Paddy’s day items that I decided to totally redo it with beautiful greens.
I think my favorite thing on the whole tray is the leprechaun hat. It is from Michael’s and was on a headband so I just pulled the headband off. My second favorite thing is the big wood block in the shape of a shamrock that says “kiss me.” It was from Joann fabrics and crafts and was only $3.50 as all their stuff was half off.
If you made an investment in the TRAY, they really can be fairly inexpensive to decorate. I already have the straws in the little shamrocks which I put in a small mason jar.
And several pieces I intend on using for each season. Often, the seasonal pieces at places like Hobby Lobby, Michael’s and Joann‘s are usually 40 to 50% off. I totaled up what I spent on the St. Patrick’s Day items and it only came to $20!
Below each picture I have noted which store I got the items from.
From Etsy, BUY Wood Signs HERE
From Hobby Lobby
From Joann Crafts
From Michael's.. all the cute

From Target

It now comes in Distressed White too
May your whole week be LUCKY AND LOVELY!!!!

So honest question here - I almost got one - but I wondered how you do it - what do you do with all the things in between seasons - do you box it up for each season? In one big container? I'm trying to think of storage through the year before I start purchasing all the cute things!
ReplyDeleteSo festive and fun! perfect for St. Patty's and showing off your Notre Dame fandom! I need to start collecting cute stuff to do something like this!
ReplyDeleteYour tray came out so ice decorated for St. Patrick's Day!! It must of been so much fun gathering up everything. Thanks for sharing at Cooking and Crafting with J & J. Enjoy the week. Julie

ReplyDeleteYou definitely got me in the spring/St. Patty's decorating mood. I usually wait until March 1st and since my daughter is coming home this weekend, I thought I'd leave my V'day stuff up until she sees it and then pull out all my green! Can't wait!! That tiered tray is just fabulous!
ReplyDeleteOh so fabulous! I love this! I am heading to hobby lobby tomorrow because St. Patty's day is my second favorite holiday after Halloween! Great post hun!

Oh, that is so cute and I should decorate for St. Patty's Day but I don't. It's my baby brother's birthday day too, so I really should. I ordered one of those exact trays last week and I can't wait to use it when I decorate for Easter/Spring. Happy week Andrea!
ReplyDeleteWell of course my favorite Irish cheerleader was going to decorate her tiered tray will all the green goodness!! And you can use some of that again in football season to decorate for your Fighting Irish, then, too! I wish we had a Joann's, but ours went out of business years ago. I did score some cute things in the Target dollar aisle last week that I'm pretty proud of! I'm still busy working on my Easter design! Hope your Monday has been great!
ReplyDeleteThat turned out positively darling and "lucky" you finding so many cute things to go on it. Love it and I also love the buffalo plaid under it. Insert green heart eye emoji here. XOXO
ReplyDeleteI thought nothing could beat the Valentine's tray, but you have proved me wrong! This is hands down SO stinkin' cute, and SO adorably you!! I love the idea of decorating it for each holiday...so you know I'll be waiting with bated breath to see how you decorate for it for my favorite - the 4th! :)
