Lilac Love! Friday, I mentioned to you that I am just loving all the lilacs and lavenders. I guess I’m just channeling spring to make its arrival. Imagine my excitement when I found a wool coat with faux fur trim in the most gorgeous lilac color! It was if I was being summoned to bring some Spring to this yucky Midwest winter! Since receiving it, it is been my most complimented piece and making me realize this is a loved color. My grandmothers always loved this color and the fresh scent of lilacs is one of my favorite things about spring. The fashion prompt today is your most complimented piece so I was excited to share this coat with you all.
When you wear an amazing color such as this, you want to keep the rest of your outfit fairly simple. So, all black it was! The fur on the coat is detachable which is awesome, but I happen to really love it so it probably won’t come off.

ReplyDeleteOh, how funny, I just saw a beautiful lilac 3/4 jacket today and pulled it off the rack but decided I didn't "need" it. It had a matching top and was so sharp. It is definitely a great color for you lovely gal!
