No, I’m not really a biker chic kind of gal. Motorcycles scare me especially when I see people on them without helmets. Now, don’t tell my mama, but back in the high school/college cruising days, I would occasionally hop on the back of a hot boys strangers motorcycle for a quick spin around town. Magnet to bad boys back in the day, lol. However, I am so glad Mr. Nine and our boys haven’t wanted one.
Now, that doesn’t mean that I don’t love Moto jacket fashion, lol. Although I’ve not owned too many of them and am picky about the fit, this is probably one of my favorite looks from the year. Remember a few weeks ago I showed you my Eliza J Dress? Well, I loved it so much that here is a heavier knit one to take me into Fall. Adore this DRESS!! Just love the geometric type pattern, A-line style and great fit! Pairing with this Trouve Moto Jacket and slightly studded booties just made sense and I love the vibe it gives off. Classy yet chic and well, biker babe-esque, lol.

What about you? Are you a back of the bike kind gal? Do you like Moto jackets?

That dress fits you perfectly and the booties are so cute too! That jacket has a really nice cut as well. It looks like you're ready to kick up a little trouble ;-)
ReplyDeleteThe jacket is perfect with that dress! Makes it a little less prim and proper for the days you are feeling like a hot biker chic!
ReplyDeleteI adore that dress Andrea! It's a perfect dress for a leather jacket. I love the contrast of feminine dresses and leather jacket/boots xx Maria
ReplyDeleteHaha same here, bikes scare me... however I was found a handful of times on the back of one in high school and college! How fun is this whole look, loving that jacket <3
ReplyDeleteGreen Fashionista
LOVE the contrast of the super feminine dress and the more edgy leather jacket! Such a fabulous way to style this!
ReplyDeleteRosy Outlook
Bikes scare the bjezus out of me. Like you though, in my younger days, find me a hot biker dude and im was riding free. Lol. Lordy, the things we did.
ReplyDeleteNow you, I love that black jacket paired with that darling little dress. The chic glasses and booties top it off!
Happy Wednesday!

My absolutely favorite Biker Babe!! Did you know that Wayne had a motorcycle for about five years! Yep! I rode on the back up until I got pregnant with Alise and then only a few more times after we had her. Of course, by the time she was here, all of a sudden, a motorcycle just wasn't a cool thing anymore as far as I was concerned because, I mean, what if we DIED and left our child parentless??? Ha! So Wayne sold it and we lived happily ever after! Amen! And I hope you have a happily ever after day, too! xo
ReplyDeleteAhhh I LOVE this jacket! So so cute. Fun fact- I’ve never been on a motorcycle. My dad had one for a few years and I recall my mom being so distraught about it and he ended up getting rid of it haha. Love the dress😊
ReplyDeleteThat is a wonderful moto jacket girl and I love that you can edge up a feminine look like that!! Looking so stylish love! xo, Biana- BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteLook at you looking so trendy and chic!!! And tan! Summer has been good to you :) Sorry I've been MIA but I'm back at blogging now that I'm back at work.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a fun look. I was the same in high school... motorcycle or Camaro - and I thought the guy was just the coolest. :)
ReplyDeleteI love how you can pull off the cute little pink/pineapple/sweet looks as well as the BAD & HOT MOMMA look!!! :)
ReplyDeleteThat looks so cute on you. I've never been on a motorcycle and I hate seeing bikers without helmets!
ReplyDeleteI'm scared of motorcycles too but I love this look on you! The dress, jacket and boots! Vavoom! And I love your hair down too! Have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteI love this look on you!! A biker look is one of my favorites. I need a new leather jacket so bad but waiting until after baby boy gets here so I can make sure it fits lol. My brother in-law had a street bike that used to scare me, but both Eric and his dad have more of cruiser bikes. He hasn't taken it out in years and thankfully you have to wear a helmet here. You look so pretty and I love this edgy side. Sierra Beautifully Candid
ReplyDeleteFirst off, Hot Mama! you look sensational! I think the dress looks so much better on you than the model, its so flattering. I am a moto jacket collector! Since im in NC we dont wear winter coats that long, but I have always loved the look of a moto and that one caught my eye as well!! I bought one from the Nordies sale I look forward to styling. I used to have a boyfriend in college who rode a motorcycle and I loved being on the back!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!

Hahaha. I was the same in high school. It's a good thing we grew out of that phase, huh!? But you do look SO biker chic in this outfit.
ReplyDeleteOoh, I love this outfit! The dress is so cute and great for dressing up or down. And I'm all about the moto jacket. That particular jacket is fantastic and I love the way it completes this look!

ReplyDeleteWhoa, hot mama!!! That dress is so amazing, and so different! I love the print with the classic colors. Is there anything you cant wear?
ReplyDeleteYou are like Sandy out of Grease, but at the end! I love the contrast of the light colored feminine dress with the dark edgy jacket! not a moto girl either and only have been on the back of one once for a spin around the block.
ReplyDeleteYou look amazing in this Andrea!! I was a goodie two shoes growing up so I wouldn't have done that (ha ha). But I absolutely love a great moto jacket to spruce up anything!!

Oh, my goodness, my dear Daddy started riding a motorcycle in his 50's. My poor Mom could barely stand it. He rode about 10 years and then gave it up. He was a Baptist motorcycle riding minister. How funny! It's still some of his fondest of memories at almost 89 years old. God love him!
ReplyDeleteYou can carry off any look I do believe. Love that dress and the jacket is perfect with it.
Happy mid-week dearie!!!
Oh such a chic outfit, and I love the biker jacket. Bet you're mum's glad she didn't know about the lift on the bikes! Have a happy rest of the week Andrea. Jacqui Mummabstylish

I love this whole outfit from head to toe! I love Eliza J dresses, they are always so cute and stylish! Might need to add this one to my wardrobe soon!
ReplyDeleteNope I am definitely not a biker chic or a fan of motorcycles! They scare me too. At one point my hubby wanted to try it but he didn't pass the test so there's our sign! Whew for me! Lol I do love biker jackets though and the edgy vibe it gives off. This Trouve jacket you have look so soft and wonderful on you. It's a nice contrast your white dress and can we talk about that dress for a minute, it's plain gorgeous! Simple yet oh so chic. It fits you like a glove and suits you well. I hope your day is going well so far and happy Thursday!
