I have mentioned it many times before, but one of my favorite things in the whole wide world is sending and receiving snail mail. There's something so exhilarating about taking a stamp and placing it on the envelope of a beautiful piece of correspondence that you're so lovingly sending someone you care about. The holidays really got me thinking about this. I sent out dozens of cards and our card holder was overflowing with the correspondence from others, who I know probably love mail in their mailbox as much as I do.
When I find a new store or website that is brimming with beautiful stationary and cards, I get completely giddy and I begin thinking about all the cards and Invitations I need to get for the upcoming year for my beautiful family members and friends. With the amazing website I found, called Basic Invite, I can rest assure that I'm going to find the most wonderful card stock, quality cards and stationery for all my snail mail needs!
2016 was filled with some of my most amazing blogger friends having beautiful babies. Amy Ann, Kate, and Nadine all had precious new babies arrive. One of the favorite things I found on Basic Invite website was related to Birth Announcements and Baby Shower Invites.
I have given many a baby shower in my time I would've loved to of had such a wonderful website as Basic Invite versus back in the day when I just bought the invitations at Target or Walmart.
The Nautical theme is a favorite, I even made a watermelon sailboat for one I gave years back. How cute are these!!
You know me, theme party crazy...My parties all have themes.
As many of you know, 2016 was also full of amazing graduations! I absolutely love the Graduation Invitations from Basic Invite. Had I known about this company last year, I would've ordered some of these for the boys graduation. Here is an extra incentive why: Color, glorious colors!

I love snail mail too, so sites like these appeal to me as well. And yes to birth announcements! Thanks for the shoutout. 😘 I had so much fun picking one out for Ivy. I remember growing up when we bought invites at places like Wal-Mart and wrote all the details in. It's amazing how far it's come.

ReplyDeleteSince planning Kate's baby shower I'm all about finding cute invitations for special occasions to go out in the mail. Evites are convenient but I definitely love the traditional style which is more sentimental especially if you can customize it xo
