WHAT'S IN MY......MAKE-UP BAG

Welcome to the series from The Blended Blog.
It is our summer series and Blog Hop called -- WHAT'S IN MY...

Have you ever wanted to know more about us and find out what we may be hiding hoarding in our storage closet at home or what we can’t live without in our handbag or make-up case - then, you will want to check out this Summer series.

In April, I talked about some of my Hair and Make-Up Revelations HERE so you have some idea what make-up I use.

I was super tickled this was my assigned prompt and I wanted to show you my favorite make up travel bag. I literally love this thing and recently wore my old one out. I was afraid I couldn't find one exactly like that one I loved but Target had an identical one, only a different fabric and print. Best part: $20!!!

It was the perfect time to do this post as Mr. Nine and I just went away for the weekend to Chicago.
The tri-fold bag with hanger for hanging in Hotel bathrooms is amazing. With 5 different compartments, you can bet I can fit everything I need and more.
The top is where I put my toothpaste, toothbrush and floss. I have a battery toothbrush at home so usually throw in a dentist issued brush that we keep a stock of from cleanings.
The middle two smaller compartments hold things like bobby pins, hair ties, nail glue and press on nails, clippers, a cough drop, small sewing kit, band-aid, pill box with ibuprofen, etc.

The zippered compartment behind the two is where I like to put my favorite travel sized face cleaner: Cetaphil, An Emergen-C pack, a travel spray perfume; I was out of Light Blue so went with Dolce, Both by Dolce and Gababa. I also throw in some kleenex, scissors, elastic headband, a nail file and tweezers.

The botton wipe off zippered biggest compartment is for the make-up. What I do is as I am getting ready for trip day after I am done with my make-up I throw my favorite pieces in this compartment. Fold it all up and snap and it fits nicely in a crevice of my suitcase.

The Make-Up products I usually fill it with. A special eyeshadow I add is "Gilt By Association" by M.A.C. It is a dark hue with gold tints and I love to use it in the outter corner creases of my eyelids for going out in the evening.

What's in your Travel Make-Up bag?

  9. I love this hanging travel makeup bag, Andrea! I have a similar one from Nordstrom (that isn't even very old!) and it is completely torn in the back. I think it's probably from stuffing it too full haha! I will need to check my Target for one. Such a fun post!

  26. Sold! My sister and daughter both use something like this and seeing it here has me further sold on the idea. I assume it lays fairly flat in a suitcase, too. My bag is the size of cinder block and about as fun to pack.

  36. I love love posts like these. I love seeing what are on people's handbags and makeup bags. That compartment makeup bag from Target is great, I need it. What is in the Nars box? I have a couple of their lipsticks but I haven't tried anything else of theirs though I want to. One of these days I will do a makeup post.

  37. On the off chance that you are thinking about a Cinch bag they utilize a basic rope that will get your hardware. It will give you simple access when you are prepared to take out your stuff. They are periodically conveyed like a knapsack utilizing the lines as ties. body bag
