1. The FUN for Mom’s Birthday

The Cake Bake Shop

It all started last Thursday at The Cake Bake Shop in Caramel, IN. We started celebrating mom’s birthday early with a wonderful tea, it was reminiscent of the one Mr. Nine and I had in London. The place is so phenomenal that we decided to host a bridal shower for our DIL to be next spring. Can't wait!

Pretty Woman

Then on Sunday, (her actual birthday) mom and attended the Pretty Woman Musical. It was so good! Of course, it was fitting that I pulled out my $2 Pretty Woman garage sale dress from 25 years ago. Love that thing. I found one similar HERE and you can get the matching purse HERE.

Twins

The BEST gift mom got was seeing the twin girlies on her birthday. After the musical, we met Mr. Nine at the kid's house with pizza and an old-fashioned cream pie I made (my recipe HERE) in hand so that the twin girls could celebrate their great grandma! Mom was in heaven!

A son got me one of these Tumblers a few years ago and I like it better for coffee than yeti because it fits in my car cup holder better. Plus, I like the lid slider better. Tons of color and print options. I literally use it 3-4xs a week.

Egg Cooker

Still a favorite find! This Egg Cooker Cooks those hard-boiled eggs and more perfectly! Comes in 6 colors too.

I'm usually way ahead of the gift giving game myself; at least I have an idea of what to get. This year: BLANK WALL! Ugh! Maybe my own gift guides will give me inspiration!

FRIDAY FAVORITES THE PARENTS

Hi friends! Christmas season for me has begun! Just look at that Throwback Title Family pic of my first Christmas 1971! I'm currently at a hospital in southern Indiana waiting on my dad to get out of surgery. Isn't it crazy how it reverts from them taking care of us to us taking care of them. I'm happy to do it. Mom and I did make a little pitstop yesterday to do something fun. I’ll share soon. Hope you’ve had a good week. I was visiting the babes, cooking, ornament shopping & decorating all week until we got on the road.
