FRIDAY FAVORITES LOTS OF LOVE

Sweet friends may this Friday bring sickness behind me! I have been down and out this week; even blew my nose so much that I cracked it and it bleed, lol. And I had to postpone a trip to see a dear friend. But I still have some favorites...always Lots of Love even when I feel bad.

 

1. Stella's Gotcha Day

Oh, my dear, sweet Stella! I shared her gotcha picture on Instagram Sunday, a year since the day we brought that sweet bundle of fur home!!

and this was my caption:

A YEAR of Loving you STELLA MAE! Happy GOTCHA DAY!

 You light up our lives, your precious, loving, smart and playful personality has us wrapped around your little paw, lol! You love us with every ounce of sweetness in your 8-pound body but still find ways to love us deeper every day!

 We found you at exactly the right time! The sun shined a little brighter beginning February 5th, 2022. Our little Girl and an angel on Earth!

 If you have a dog, you know the JOY they bring! You know the depths of loss when you lose them and the depths of love when they join your home and become one of you!

 And yes, she has her own walk-in closet, lol!

2. cabi X-Factor Dress

In THIS POST on Wednesday, I showed you some favorites from the new cabi spring collection. Today is the X-Factor Dress. Wouldn’t it be the perfect dress for Valentine’s Day. 3. Spring Finds

TRENCH COATS

I don’t own a trench coat that I’m completely in love with, but that will probably change when I get one of THESE!! The checks is a pale blue along with the other check being a gorgeous green, and I love it in person! SANDALS

Lots of winter left, and I truly wish that sandals did not start appearing in stores so early but to get the cute ones you’ve got a jump on it and these sandal finds had me dumbfounded. I literally had to do a second look in Target because there are 2 styles that look exactly like Dolce Vita.

4. Oral B Electric Toothbrush

Of course, Mr. Nine and I have matching toothbrushes, lol! I was on the fence about getting a rechargeable toothbrush, but when he got me the pink one for Christmas, I was sold after he knew how much I loved it, I got him a black one. FRIDAY FAVORITES...HELLO JUNE

Why is it, May flew faster than any of the 2019 months thus far? The only thing good about that is I feel summa has finally arrived, now slooow down, lol!! Mr. Nine and I celebrated an Anniversary this week with one if the worst dinners we’ve ever had but most of the week was swell. You’ll find me in the pool today sweet friends!! Hope your weekend will be swell too!!

1. Family Day
Family days are truly the best days and I love the summer carefree ones! Ours included a winery, drinks that matched my dress, a distillery, a putting green of 18 and  a casino.

2. Zucchini Medley Recipe
So many of you asked for the zucchini medley recipe on my Insta stories from Monday so I thought I would share it with you here on the blog today because it truly is one of our summer favorites! 

ZUCCHINI MEDELY

4 slices of bacon, cooked

1/3 cup sweet onion, chopped

2 zucchinis, chopped  

3 ears of corn, cooked and cut off ears

1/4-1/3 cup shredded Colby Jack Cheese

Ground Pepper

Cook the bacon and let drain. In the bacon grease on about medium heat, add your onion and zucchini and sauté until soft. To that mixture add the corn kernels and sauté for about five minutes. Sprinkle with desired amount of Colby Jack cheese, some ground pepper to your taste and the bacon, crumbled.

There’s just something I truly love about wearing red with a pop of leopard! This darling off the shoulder has quickly become one of my favorites as it stays in place and is such a good price! Of course, it called for some leopard pumps but I’m also going to wear some leopard flat sandals with it as well!

Trader Joe's Trip

Mom and I went up to Trader Joe's yesterday, found some new finds and got a little ice cream on the way home. Lots more to come in a couple weeks about the TJ's finds. 

Preview..told these are the bomb, trying them today!

FRIDAY FAVORITES...BIRTHDAY EDITION

So much goodness going at cha this weekend!! April is arriving and my Birthday on Monday and please tell me, warm temps with it! Easter is here to celebrate the greatest gift of all! Unfortunately Mr. Nine and I had to postpone our Chicago trip until May. Lots of factors and while I'm a little sad, one night is a little short. We planned it before realizing it was Easter and the weather looks horrid and since we like to be outside most of the time we are there, It'll be smart to wait until alfresco dining type temps the end of May. Brunch on Easter at our favorite swanky establishment (one of the very few swanky establishments) will do instead. Hope no one is on my way at the Mimosa Bar!! LOL!! 

  

1. Birthday's Past

My Birthday always has me reminiscing on the past and how they were spent. One of my favorite pictures of all time, my 2^nd birthday on April 2nd also happened to Fall near Easter that year so our relatives were up to visit including my Aunt Robin, my mom’s baby sister who is almost exactly a decade older than me (Her Birthday was Monday).
