WHAT I BROUGHT for $100 at TARGET

It’s time! Target Time, lol! Seems to be Target time at least once a week for me! Even better I’d when 5 of us, the Blonde Squad goes to Target! Even better if we all could’ve gone together! LOL!

Jill had a wonderful idea for a post: what we got at Target for $100! Just like I always love seeing what people buy on Amazon. I also love seeing what people get at Target, one of our most beloved institutions, lol.

If you read my blog way back in the day, you may remember a post I did in 2015 entitled 9 Things That Inevitably Happen at Target.

It was my post popular post that year and showed my newbie lack of blogging skills, but it was oh so fun and a favorite to this day!!!

Now I want to preface by saying that I did go over $100 but for a very good reason. If you are familiar with Target the Circle, you know that we often get great deals and last week when I went if you spent $125, you got $15 back on your Target Circle. Therefore, I spent $127 and got it lol.

$18 was for Mr. Nine’s Coke Zero (He’s addicted)! Soda pop is so incredibly expensive, so I only get it for him when it’s on sale and I happened to notice it was, so I grabbed him the three cases, so we won’t count that… Boring, lol! I'm addicted to Bailey's but I didn't get this seasonal goodness, just wanted to show you how pretty the bottle is, LOL! (Only in Stores)

I took my mama with me on this trip as my photog and videographer, lol. We had an interesting discussion in the deodorant aisle, LOL. I love the Native Brand of deodorant!

Of course, we had to try some things on. The clothing area is the first place I go. I think they conveniently put it in front at all Targets, lol. I really didn’t see much on this trip clothing wise but when I saw this DRESS, I immediately knew I had to have it because it was just the style I was looking at for my upcoming Europe trip. It fit like a glove. Some dressing rooms at Targets are not good at all, my local one is like trying things on in a shoebox. And another Target Circle Plus was dresses were 20% off so this was under $30!

Years ago, before many of the major tanning mousse is creams and lotions came on the scene, I used Jergens glow, and it worked great. However, a few years ago I got on the Loving Tan Mousse bandwagon, and I am so in love. When I saw at Target that Jergens had come out with A Tanning Mousse, I decided to get it and the mitt, along with the Melanin Glow Moisturizer and see how it compares to the others but is substantially cheaper.

Of course, I had to get some Easter candy! Mr. Nine loves the Reese's Eggs and we always have to have at least one Cadbury Egg a season! However, I do have a bone to pick with Reese’s, they stopped making the mini Reese’s eggs. The eggs they sell now in the bag are flat (eggs halced) and a little eggs with Reese’s peanut butter in them had the best ratio. I miss those!

And OK, I got a Bottle of My Favorite PROSECCO, LOL!

I loved the Pixi Eye Makeup remover pads, that they used to sell at target, but they stopped so since I love the cleanser so much, I got the Cetaphil Gentle Makeup Remover and it works great! Also got my favorite eyeliner: Cover Girl Perfect Point Plus and Crackers:Simple Mills Almond Crackers.

Check out the blogs of my dear Blonde Squad pals in alphabetical order! Caroline from The Petite Fashionista, Jill from Doused in Pink, Kathrine from Kathrine Eldridge Blog and Laura from I Do DeClaire.

I am so excited to see what they got!

BOMBER BEAUTY

OK, it’s official, the Fall fashion bug has hit me. While I am still soaking up the last precious weeks of summer, I mean our pool is still going to be open for six more weeks, LOL, my mind is gearing to Fall fashion and of course Fall decorations! Check out last year‘s 3 Fall Tiered Trays and Our Fall Front Porch! My favorites!

This Pink Plaid Bomber Jacket is literally da bomb! It was so funny because I saw it in Target on a day my mom was with me, and she had gravitated to the same one! The shade of pink is just so darn beautiful! So, last year the shacket was big and while it will still be around this year, I think these bomber jackets are going to be a hit as well, at least they are with me!

I decided to sell this cutie three different ways for you and I love them all.

First up is casual of course, because let’s face it, that’s how I dress on most days! We talked about how hard it is during the early fall with shoe transitions, where it’s not really sandal conducive anymore but you’re not quite ready for boots. Sneakers  are always a great option for me! I wear sneakers year-round and just let their comfort and cuteness! Throw on some more laid-back jeans and you’re good to go!

This is where I get to jazz this bomber up a little bit and give it some edge with the Spanx Faux Leather leggings and my Karl Lagerfeld boots that I got from the Nordstrom anniversary sale. I had been eyeing these boots for a couple years I was so excited to get a fresh new pair this season that really jazzed up any outfit with black patent leather and pearl cuteness!

And for this last one, I thought about putting it with white jeans which I still would right now, but decided to go to open toe heeled booties, more bling and the jeans route for a dress up spark to the castle. I thought the darker jeans were a good contrast with the pink and white. These jeans are my first pair from the Good American and I am in complete love with them!

Ok, I was sweating when these pictures were taken as it’s still nice and warm in Indiana, but we do it for the sake of fashion, right? Plus, if you don’t scoop the stuff up, it sells out. This jacket is under $40, crafted so nicely and has pockets! Which is your favorite?

FRIDAY FAVORITES...ON CLOUD NINE EDITION

Oh my goodness friends, the weather this week was absolutely grand! I was on Cloud "9" for Sure!! Had some fun daytime shenanigans, some pool time with friends and today, my mom and I are heading to Michigan to take my dear Aunt Linda to lunch for her birthday! Looking forward to a relaxed weekend as well!

1. Last Vacay Snaps

Thought I’d share some last snaps of our summer Lake Michigan vacation! This vacay always has me on cloud nine.

Can’t beat the best lemon custard, a red, white and blue slushie, The beautiful bay on morning walks, sunset views from the couch and tradition Friday night fish dinner from the coolest old school Fish Market.

2. Bedding

Cozy Earth

As you know, I am a huge fan of CozyCozy Earth and just love getting the high-quality items from them that makes sleep and cozy so much better! Not only am I wearing their pajama set in this picture which I also happen to own in blush, but I’ve put on our new summer bedding that includes a beautiful bamboo comforter from COZY EARTH! It is so luxurious and so well-made! It has the loops so you can attach it to the button of a duvet.

Target Pillows

Here is a closer look at the beautiful pillows I bought from Target to compliment the summer bedding. I especially love the oblong one as it has little tassels. Pretty Blue Hues too. PS...I'm so ready for a new bedroom suit; a mattress company turned me down for a collaboration because we had sleigh bed, ugh!

It’s no secret I love CABANA LIFE! Having had five skin cancers removed, I know the importance of protecting our skin. And when Cabana Life can aid in that by offering beautiful high-quality clothing with built in 50 SPF, well I’m completely sold! We took impromptu date day to new Buffalo Michigan on Saturday and I wore this little Terry Tunic Dress! It would also make a great cover-up! I just love the colors!

50 and SASSY

This dear friend of mine also happens to be the mother of one of her sons girlfriends and she is just precious! Lauren, her daughter, had made us these precious T-shirts this year as we both turned 50 within two weeks of each other and we finally got a chance to wear them together!

Pink Toes

We all had on pink toenail polish, so a pool feet shot was warranted.

NATURE

Hummingbird

I sat patiently out on the back porch one night waiting to get pictures of the little hummingbirds and I was super happy with this shot!

Porch Petunias

So this year I decided to alternate the proven winners bubblegum petunias and fuchsia petunias and I love how they blend it in together and flow down the front porch steps!

Blue Heron

I shown you the sweet blue heron that comes to our pond every year many many times and gotten some great pictures of. Imagine my surprise when I spotted a baby! Didn’t see mama but that baby was flying around but was quick but I was able to catch this in flight, reflection on the water picture.

MEMES

If you saw my Instagram stories this week…you know…they were rearranging my favorite grocery store…NO..Just NO!!

ALWAYS EYEING EYELET

I think I have loved eyelet my entire life! Last year I started seeing a lot more of it but this year it is everywhere! I think it is so feminine and sweet for little girls, young women, middle-age women and old alike! Today, I have three adorable eyelet tops I’m sharing with you but I’m not gonna lie, these aren’t the only three I’ve gotten for the season.

You may have seen me mention in my Instagram stories that I had not been happy with The Loft this year. Well, that changed when I walked in and saw the displays of magenta and orange when I was returning that yellow tent of a dress! I am especially drawn to magenta and I have several pairs of shoes in this color so the smocked neckline magenta eyelet top was a given!

This Top is sooooo good! AND it’s 50% off right now with Code: CUTE

What’s so funny is when I ordered that horrible Yellow Dress, I was pleasantly surprised with the Back Eyelet Top I got. I will wear this tons, with white jeans, regular jeans and shorts with my Tory Burch Miller Sandals! These two tops are my favorite things I’ve gotten from the loft in a really long time!

Top HERE // Jeans HERE // Sandals HERE // Necklace HERE // Sunnies HERE

And this one......definitely MINT marvelous! I have been drawn to mint. I shared this Flutter Eyelet Top with you before and it comes in some other pretty colors too but I just love the way the flutter sleeves fall!

AND it's only $20!!!

It’s such a rich shade of mint. I’ve not been finding a lot of tops at Target this spring either but this one is perfect enough to get me through!

This probably won’t be the last of eyelet you see from me and let me know if you like it as well. I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday!
