WINTER OUTFIT INTERPRETATIONS...THEIR WAY

Yesterday, it was so fun to share with you the winter re-creations of four of my friends! If you have hopped over to all of our blogs, there were 20 winter outfits of inspiration! Today for the Style Six link up with more of my brilliant gals, I’m sharing the way my four blonde pals interpreted my winter outfits!

They were all so cute!

Love this bright blue on all gals with all hair colors. Jill nailed it!

20 FALL OUTFITS & FABULOUS RE-CREATIONS

Who in the world am I posting on a Tuesday as of late? You do it for your friends, that’s who! And, how much FUN is this! My dear friend Jill from Doused in Pink had a great idea for us ladies to re-create each other’s Fall looks! We each picked a favorite outfit of each other’s and re-created it in our way. I just love how all of these turned out!

As you may remember, this is a group of Blogger friends who meet up in in Chicago. You may remember our first meet up at RPM Italian and the fun one when we went to Windy City Live last December. I love these ladies so much, we’ve had some zoom calls during Covid and we cannot wait to meet up again in Chicago when it feels more safe!

CAROLINE

First up is my dear friend Caroline from The Petite Fashionista who has a big birthday coming up next month! You may remember when I went and Visited her in Chicago for her birthday last year. It was a glorious day and I just love this petite dynamo! Right away I knew I wanted to re-create this fun look, I joked that all I needed was the brick wall. I paired some camo leggings with the Shop the Mint Tiger tee and we both own the same Evereve cardigan (where Caroline happens to work), and Sam Edelman boots so it was a complete no-brainer!

JILL

Next up is my dear friend Jill from Doused in Pink and it was an easy choice which outfit of hers I wanted to create! I had all the pieces and had been eyeing that olive Cami with the brown buttons for Fall from Walmart, so I was happy to have an excuse to get it! We both had the Moto jacket and, in my closet, of course, is a great staple pair of faux leather leggings and slip on leopard sneakers! Jill is the ultimate sweetheart and is such a precious friend of mine with a heart of gold. So supportive and caring!

KATHRINE

Next up is the incredible Kathrine Eldridge! If you’re in the greater Chicago area and the suburbs, Kathrine is a wardrobe stylist and also just became an IU mom, got to give this lady extra grace this Fall because it’s always hard to go drop your kids off at college for the first time and leave them behind. But she is doing great. I am so in love with the color teal and I knew right away I wanted to re-create this look from last Fall. I got lucky and found this Free People off the shoulder sweater, you know I love my off the shoulder, and all the other pieces I had in my closet. Kathrine is so smart and beautiful and an amazing flutist.

LAURA

Next up is the precious Laura from I do deClaire. You know what rhymes with Claire... (which is also her oldest daughter‘s name), is hair! This girl has some of the prettiest hair I’ve ever seen in my life plus she has the grace of an angel and a heart so sweet! My ultimate favorite color this fall is Rust and I’m really gravitating to it. I was “tickled rust” I should say, to get this jumpsuit and couldn’t wait to jazz it up for Fall. Laura recently shared this jumpsuit in two different ways but I thought it would be great to add the Jean jacket below for the cooler temps. Just love it and her!

WANNA BE WEDNESDAY...WONDERFUL WANDA

You know I love doing outfit re-creations, but I think they’re even more fun when you re-create a look of someone you know!

I have a divine pleasure of meeting Wanda from Wanda Loves Sharing a few months ago in a sharing clothing haul with some other beauties! I immediately fell in love with her big heart, her sensational style, her graceful beauty and most of all, her realness! And can I just add in, she has the best laugh I think I’ve ever heard!!

She shared this look several weeks ago for date night with her hubby that was long overdue due to Covid and one of her sweet girlies, she has two precious ones, picked out this outfit! I knew immediately when I saw that I would re-create it. I already had the clothing; I just needed the darling Stella and Dot Pearl CLUTCH PURSE (Bonus: Wanda is a Stella and Dot Rep) and fabulous acrylic band slide shoes! Oh, and I also grabbed a lock necklace on chain links that is getting to be a big accessory fashion trend!

She also writes an awesome BLOG by the same name and pretty much has something wonderful almost every day on Instagram stories! Do yourself a favor and Check Her Out now. You won’t be sorry and you will immediately feel like she is a friend!

GREEN PLEAT GORGEOUS RE-CREATION

I have become so crazy over the pleated midi skirts that I now own four of them! When I saw this one, so rich in a deep green color from a Pinterest pin, I knew it had to be one of my re-creations.

A few years ago, I did a post entitled Why I Will No Longer Shop at Forever 21, and part of it centered around a too short bodysuit. However, this wrap front surplice black bodysuit with the blouson sleeves is perfect and comfy!

And I was tickled pink to find this matte Black Satchel Purse. It literally looks like it cost several hundred dollars and was just a fraction of that. The wide stretch Belt tied everything together so perfectly and I think this is one of the closest re-creations I have ever got.

The darling shoes are on major sale right now too!

WILD RE-CREATION & LINK-UP

Some of you may know I shared my love of this WILD Tee/Golden sweater combo I saw on Pinterest. (Follow my PINTEREST HERE) Well, I was soooo happy to find similar pieces and bring back my famous fashion Re-creations. I LOVE this outfit.

Now, the subject of the pin wore cut offs, but Indiana is finally a chilly enough that those were not going to work so enter my new waaaay distressed Free People jeans and wa-la, the perfect boho vibe coming at cha!

I will utilize this tee and cardi a lot. The statement jewelry and white boots were the perfect final touches. And after I showed you 4 Ways to Wear white booties last Wednesday, here we are yet again with another fun way to wear them. See how versatile?
