FORGOTTEN KOHL'S

Oh, good ole forgotten Kohl’s! I happen to be a fan of Kohl's, I just don’t get in there very often. However, I’ve been in a few times and been very pleased with what I’ve seen. The first time, in May, I was introduced to the Draper James Line that I shared HERE. Then, recently I found the following two cuties and with my Kohl’s cash and clearance on a following visit got $86 with of stuff for $6.37!!! Yeppers!!!

First up this gauze flutter sleeve sensation of a TOP!!! I love the color and the fit! So cool and sweet. Shorts are Walmart and soooo good at under $17!

And Sandals HERE.

Then there’s this one shoulder wonder Dress, great for summer events or a day date.

Here I’m showing two of my SO Brand button downs. I love these for Summer and Fall. As you can see, this is a favorite look of mine. Many of their Button Downs are on clearance.

I also have this Darling Top and this Utility Jumpsuit on my wishlist. I’ll be heading back in after the back to school crowd trouts here has vacated. All Our area schools go back in the next couple weeks.

 

We also now have a SEPHORA inside our Kohl’s so there’s that and it’s right next to the stand alone Ulta. Too funny. What are your thoughts on Kohl's? Have you gotten some good things?

NOT FOR MEN BLAZER & LINK-UP

You all know I love blazers and the chic vibe they bring any outfit. And I love mixing it up with a double-breasted menswear inspired blazer which brings something a little regal to any look. 

I am a girlie girl all the way but there are some men's flair trends that peak my interest and this is one of them. Can you believe this pretty plaid cuteness is from Kohl’s? There are also pants to match but I think it looks most fantastic with jeans and boots

I thought the colors were just so pretty and such an easy outfit to put together!

I just added some simple jewelry like my ginger colored nickel and suede earrings and my new gold herringbone necklace from revolve which is such a perfect piece! It will be great for layering as well! and it’s only $35 and looks and feels like an $800 gold necklace!

POLKA DOTS AND LAVENDER

No, I am not wearing any lavender but some of these pictures were taken in a lavender field amongst lots of dead lavender, LOL! I had these dreams and visions of one of those bloggers in a cute outfit in a field flowing with tall stems of fragrant lavender, purple hues as far as the eye could see.

However, instead what we got was a few sporadic patches amongst lots of dead lavender due to the harsh Midwest winter! I could’ve almost cried for the owners because so many people flock to the beautiful fields. Maybe better luck next year. However, the day was not a bust, we did get some cute pictures and ended up at the Fernwood Botanical gardens for more pictures, a lovely walk through the grounds and a great lunch at their café with all kinds a homemade sandwiches, soups and desserts! More about that on my Friday favorites.

In the meantime, let’s talk about how adorable this blush pink and polka dot JUMPSUIT is? It’s a halter style with the cutest little ruffle detail, just the right length so I could even wear cute Flats. Best part, it was under $35 from Kohl’s. It was super comfy, and I loved dressing it up with champagne and off-white jewelry like my Kendra Scott necklace. The Floppy Hat was the perfect added touch. 

Once again, I think a jumpsuit like this would be adorable with a Jean jacket heading into the cooler months or even a cool evening.

TASSEL TERRIFIC & WUW

 I’m just going to say it; I really like this cute little dress but I do not like these pictures! You know, not every set a blog pictures can be fabulous, in reality most of mine are just so-so but these I just particularly didn’t love and I think it had to do with the lighting and not liking my hair that day, LOL! But, oh well, I’m going with it because I do love the peasant dress and wanted to share it with you, as well as, the fabulous Bauble bar hot pink earrings! The dress front tassels are darlings well.

HOODED WRAP & MY REFINED STYLE #4

Hi all! You do not know how excited I was for that little dusting of snow on the deck. Yippee!! I have always loved turtlenecks and this one paired perfectly with the adorable hooded wrap my beautiful sister-in-law got me for Christmas. The colors in it are subtle so perfectly paired with many items in my closet. 

Sweet Mr. 9 got me the Dolce Vita OTK boots from Nordstrom that I had been lusting after all season. I LOVE them. I think they are sold out on Nordstrom but I saw some very similar ones, also by Dolce Vita on Zappos.

Silver jewelry seemed to go best with the muted tones and some simple black skinnies form the Loft were perfect. And I just noticed I have lipstick on my teeth, no time to edit...Who doesn't have lipstick on their teeth from time to time?? ha!
