CHICWISH REVIEW 2023

It’s not the first and it won’t be the last time. Sharing Chicwish is a treat because I love their fashions. This brand offers a wide variety of whimsical and trendy clothing that falls into all different style categories—there’s something for everyone. Today, I'll talk about why I Love Chicwish, lots of Q&A about the brand and I'll show you my latest, gorgeous pieces form them!

Who Is Chicwish for?

Chicwish is designed for anyone who is looking to add some affordable, classic options to their outfit rotation.

On the website, the brand boasts over 5,000 “blogger approved” styles that cater to a wide range of preferences and tastes. You’ll find long and flowy skirts, mommy and me sets, and sophisticated pieces perfect for the workplace.

Why do I LOVE Chicwish?

I love Chicwish for several reasons. The biggest reason being the vast selection. You can find so many cute pieces including event pieces like a dress to wear to a wedding or showers. They even have some formal type dresses. Yet they also have fun everyday pieces and I love the feminine touches. Things are affordable and well made. Textures and fabrics are fun especially their knits and fun tulle skirts. The selection of outerwear is fabulous too and things I keep in my closet forever.

This Faux Fur Jacket was icing on the cake to wear for my Birthday lunch in Paris! I'll own it for years to come.

What to Know When Shopping at Chicwish

Something I wanted to tackle in my 2023 Chicwish review is the most important and the most fun – shopping! After shopping at Chicwish for years, I have learned a few tips that make the process easy for me. That means minimal to no “fails” with items as can often happen when shopping online.

MOST IMPORTANT -Measure yourself. Make a note on your phone and store the measurements. Order pieces only by those measurements, not your typical size. Sizing can vary, and you don’t want to end up in the wrong one.

-Carefully review the item photos. I always look at all photos and use the magnifier to look at the material, quality, and detailing.

-Read the description thoroughly. Is the item lined? Are you okay paying for it if it isn’t? Look for details like that which would matter to you.

-Check reviews and photos posted of people wearing the item. They aren’t always there, but when available, they are helpful.

-Buy items seen on bloggers and influencers that you can read a review on before purchasing.

What is the Chicwish Return Policy?

I know return policies vary and are changing amoungst many brands. You can read the full return policy HERE. Essentially you can return your items within 30 days from the date the item was shipped to you. Returns are free for US and UK customers. A fee of $8 will be deducted from your return credit for customers in other countries. This is similar to how many other retailers conduct returns.

You can get the rose in several colors and there are some different designs of the necklace. I have never seen anything like this before and it is just the sweetest thing!

4. Walking Shoe Poll

Last week on Instagram I asked you all the best sneakers for walking at least 5 miles every day. ASICS was the most popular at about 60%. So that’s what I went with, and I walked in them now four days, 6+ miles each day and so far, so good! These are actually cuter than I thought they would be, and they even come in pink!

Ok, I pretty much feel like I’m going to show you some sort of nature or foliage at my house every Friday through the spring and summer months. This week my mom was visiting, and we noticed that some of our back hostas had started to thrive and had the perfect green variegation. So, I snapped a picture as they are so pretty.

Remember Last Week when I showed you the hungry little baby robins? What a difference a week makes. Look how big they are. See the little beaks and eyes? They were peering right at me and mama Robin was squawking so I got away quick.

FRIDAY FAVORITES...FOR THE LOVE OF

Happy Fri-YAY! The end of January is signaling us that much closer to Spring. Pool opening is now on the books too for April 26th. But we did have a lot of snow this week and I must admit, it’s been GORGEOUS. This Friday Favs is for the love of...my fam, a sweet gift, great dress, etc...well, let’s just get to it.

1. Fun in Indy

Cannot even tell you how giddy I was, even just to get away for a few hours to see our boy in Indy with the crew. I’ll admit we are good social distancing stewards, and we stay home the entire weekend most weekends, so a day trip was exactly what the Dr. ordered. It was brrrr cold but our sons apartment is within downtown walking distance, so we did it and masks come in handy for the cold too. We were able to find a great eatery where we had a section of the restaurant pretty much all to ourselves, so it was glorious. Then back to the apt for Playing with our newest grand cat, Reese's birthday cake (celebrating 2), chillin out and virtual reality games (so cool)!

This beautiful girl! She happens to have a birthday on Monday! 25, the quarter century mark! In honor of her birthday, I shared a Cap’n Crunch shot with her on our trip to Indy and it was so delicious! If you’re not sure what that is, they coat the rim of a shot glass with cinnamon and sugar and it’s a mix of Bailey’s and Fireball, my two favorite liquors! Also, a favorite is this girl! She adds so much joy to our family and is the perfect person to be an RN because her heart is so full of love and compassion! Adore her! Yellow is her favorite color and look how beautiful she looks in it!

2. Red Truck Welcome Sign

The sweet girl above belongs to one of our precious sons and they both know how much I love red trucks! They saw Red truck Welcome Sign on social media and knew it had to be mine! The lady that makes them kind of went viral and so shipping was a little behind but how cool is it that when we got back to their house after our trip to Indy Saturday night, it had arrived! I love the interchangeable delightful, cute slides for the back of the truck! The shamrocks are on their way to me for St. Patrick’s Day and I also of course order pineapples!

4. For the LOVE of Leopard

This DRESS! I cannot even tell you! THE BEST! I have had my eye on it for a while. It is one of the top-rated clothing pieces on the Mint Julep Boutique website! It is the perfect DRESS and a perfect dress for me! The leopard print is of course spot on and the ruffles not only on the three-quarter length sleeves, but the skirt are so fun and flirty! It’s another modest one that still has a sexy vibe, and I loved the elastic waist. It feels so good on and I would give it 10 stars!

Our Daisy would've been 16 today. It's been a year and a half and I still think about and miss her every.single.day! Many of you have lost your beloved pets since then and spoken with me about it. I know your pain and I empathize with you so much. Read about the circumstances regarding her loss HERE.

LOVING TAN

Oh, How I LOVE this stuff. Yep, see my legs in the leopard dress above...tan thanks to Loving Tan. My legs are so white this time of year and Loving Tan has come to my rescue. I tried several last year and this is a clear winner 110%. Take it from a girl who loves to be tan. It is a lil pricey but lasts a long time and so worth it to me, especially since we can’t travel to get the sun and it’s a balmy 25 degrees here, lol. There are 3 shared but unless you're a ghost, get this Dark Shade. It's still not dark but a perfect golden! And very easy to apply. I love the Applicator Mitt too.
