There’s so much LOVE I this post because it involves my beloved friends, evoked memories, my mama, and my new undying love for Barrington Bags, “The” gauze shirt return and green pants from Mauby.
First of all, 3 of my fellow Style Six besties, travel buddies and gal pal crew initiated me into the 50’s club with a beautiful Barrington Tote Bag! I cannot tell you how many times I have designed a Barrington Bag, had it in my cart and then never pulled the trigger. So, the fact that they put together a beautiful one that immediately reminded me of our first meet up in Nashville, just filled my heart with such joy! These ladies are the real deal. I could literally talk about how wonderful they are every day but just know when you visit Lisa's, Kellyann's or Shelly's blogs, you’re getting nothing but pureness and goodness from their sweet little hearts! I hope I can hug their necks and thank them in person this year because even though we talk on Marco Polo, I miss them immensely!
Just look at these beauties on our last trip together in Texas. We didn’t even plan to match the day we went to the Silos, but we were all sporting our Fall fabulousness!
It was so funny because mine and my mom‘s first lunch alfresco since Covid begin with us both sporting the same gauze button up shirt in different colors! Let me just say, in the late 80s, early 90's, my mom and I both loved to wear gauze. The soft cotton, well, there’s nothing like it! So, when these shirts started floating around blogger world, I immediately ordered some and so did my mom. The white is currently out of stock but there are oodles of colors and keep checking back because several of my friends have and they ended up getting the white one if that’s the color you prefer.
I also was recently introduced to a company called MAUBY!
I love everything this company stands for and they were so sweet to send me these cropped Green Utility Pants! I love the shade.
MAUBY pieces are designed to cater to fit, comfort, and sophistication. With a mix of romantic undertones and comfortably structured pieces, their clothes are rooted in quality and individuality.
If you’re in the market for some green pants, I also found these and these.
I think it was quite fitting to carry my Barrington Tote Bag that day since we were headed to Lake Michigan! It gives off some sweet nautical vibes and I loved it with this outfit! The zippered ones are really cute too. Barrington allows you to design your bag in so many different patterns, monograms and colors. The possibilities are endless!
You and your mom are just as cute as can be on your day out in your gauzy shirts! It's so nice to see your happy faces. I am so happy to see you with your tote and I sure hope you enjoy using it and think of us when you do! Cheers to future plans for lots of fun in person!
