Still showing you rooms in the new house, two years later! This one actually includes an upgrade accent wall since we even built the house! Mr. Nine and I got home yesterday from a leaf tour up north and I will share that soon but for now I thought I’d share some of the pictures of our master bathroom!
Let’s talk about what I had to sacrifice in this bathroom in order to have my big ole hers walk-in closet. That Post HERE! I had to sacrifice a window and separate vanities for Mr. Nine and I. BUT that’s completely OK because our beautiful marble tile shower makes me feel like I’m in a hotel and can hold eight people, not that I ever would, LOL!, The toilet is still private and Mr. Nine and I have not had a problem with the vanity, at least not me, LOL!

The shower was replicated for us after we saw one like it in the Parade of Homes. We got lucky and just happened to get the tile guy who did that one. He used matte marble tiles in ours instead as he said the first one he did was so slippery. It turned out perfect. He was the one who came back to do the mosaic wall and said our house is still one of his favorites that he and his sons have worked on.
However, the plain gray and white palette just had me longing for something and I wasn’t quite sure what. I couldn’t really decide on an accent color and finally I told Mr. Nine, I love mosaic tile, let’s just tile the back of the vanity and I think that will give the bathroom the exact final touch that it needs! And sure enough, I was right, the beautiful tiled wall just makes the bathroom pop. I added some metal art pieces and a little greenery and we are good to go! I may still even bring in an accent color but for now I’m completely happy with how it turned out!
HAPPY WEEK SWEETS!!
I love how your master bathroom turned out Andrea - it is beautiful! The mosaic tile really kicks it up a notch.
