THE $100 DIFFERENCE, WUW & TBB STYLE LINK-UP

Happy last Wednesday before Christmas and welcome to our weekly link-up and twofer with What’s up Wednesday. While Mom and I were in Marco Island in November, we did a little boutique shopping.

We found a charming boutique at a shopping plaza and pretty much loved everything in there. It was pretty pricey but when I saw this sweater with the ties on the side and a tag that I thought said $62, I was like, ok, not bad, let's get it. When the very chatty sales clerk rang it up, she said "that'll be $170 and some change." Whaaaat? I thought it was $62 not $162. Now trying to play it cool, I didn't say that, bit the bullet and just paid it. Now, that I've fallen in love with it and worn it on repeat, I'm ok with the mistake. However, next time, I #won'tmisstheone!!

I have worn this a couple times shopping and it is so comfy, throw on leggings and my OTK boots that are flat and comfy, and it's a chic shopping outfit that gets sweet compliments.

Now, time for some What's Up in the Nine neck of the woods

That has happened to me before too. The good news is that it's super cute and versatile and sounds like you have already been wearing it a lot! Happy Wednesday!

  8. I almost did the same thing with a dress at Lilly Pulitzer once. The tag on one said one thing and then another one said something wayyy different! At least you're getting a lot of wear out of it! Hopefully you and your mom don't fall apart before Christmas haha! All jokes aside, I hope you both feel better quickly!

  24. Oh no, so sorry to hear about you and your mom's injuries. Sending you both big hugs!! I love your Christmas card, I was so excited when I received it. Super cute sweater, I feel your pain with reading the tag wrong. That is such the worst feeling, I mean who likes feeling stupid. I love small boutiques but sometimes I'm shocked by the price of certain things. And then when I see the same item somewhere else for cheaper, I'm like UGH. Hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas!!

  28. OKAY! Well first off the sweater is totally cute, but I could have never been as cool as you were and still bought it once I found out about the all important 1 that was overlooked.😉 SO...after I got to the part about your poor mama's finger and then your elbow I couldn't hardly focus on the rest of the post. I am so sorry that happened to both of you. Oh my goodness. That sounds like an absolutely awful cut and getting knocked out from hitting your elbow. GOOD GRIEF! Are you sure you didn't crack it or break it? Be careful my darling work-a-holic. Hope the week is going much better now. XOXO
