DECEMBER..it came so
extra fast this year! Yes to the month of festive love! Today, I am shopping, packing and guess what we are doing this weekend? The house walk through on Sunday which means it won't be long. You know the first thing I am doing is putting up the Christmas tree and hanging wreaths on the windows! These are my favorites and here are some from this week:
1. Kids -N- Daisy
It was so nice having all 3 home!! We were telling the college boys that when they come home next, they may be coming home to a new house! We went out to the new house by the outside fireplace and took some impromptu family photos...I'm killing two birds with one stone and did Christmas Cards with a "We've Moved."
Someone else happy to see them was our Miss Daisy...I am so happy a year ago we were able to give her the life saving surgery. She is doing great and even with a funny walk, she is 100% awesome and we thank heavens for her everyday! She'll be 13 next month. I think Daisy needs this Mrs. Claus outfit for Christmas, don't you?

2. My Bitmoji
Ok, I know I am a little late to the Bitmoji craze but last week I was so stressed that I needed a mindless task and I decided to create mine. Don't know if she looks like me but what do you think?

Good morning Andrea. Your darling Miss Daisy reminds me of my last dog, Gypsy. She was a rescue and the best dog I ever had. As always, you look adorable in the flannel shirt/jeans combo. The candy cane spoons are so clever. I may have to order a couple of those mugs. Enjoy your weekend, Andrea.

Daisy is so cute! And how exciting that the end is that close! I would be so ancy and so excited. Yay! Love the JCP Cardigan paired with that Old navy dress. Happy Weekend!
ReplyDeleteLove the J-Lo top!
ReplyDeleteAnd You aren't the only one who is late to the Bitmoji craze... I still don't have one!
Oh my gosh...THE WALK THROUGH!!!! Seriously, I think I'm just as excited as you are. Okay, maybe not really, but I'm pretty dang excited! Hip-hip-hooray for all the boys being home and a handsome crew they are. The year we moved to MN I did the exact same thing and combined our Christmas cards w/ We've moved. I had the cutest little rhyme on them (We're hanging our wreath on a brand new door...I'd have to look it up for the rest...LOL) Anyway, I totally agree about AE flannels, in fact I said the EXACT same thing on my post today. You look flannelrific in your cute combo. Have the best weekend my blonde friend!!! XOXO
ReplyDeleteMiss Daisy is too cute, I wish my little old Ginger and her could have a snuggly play date! Handsome sons too! I love Bitmoji's, her hair needs to be blonder like yours is. Not you without that blonde! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the reminder about Monday's post! Love your Bitmoji...aren't they fun! What a wonderful Christmas card photo you got. I'm so excited to see pictures of your new house. Get lots of packing done this weekend, friend!
ReplyDeleteI want those candy cane spoons. So cute. I am loving the santa costume for Daisy. I think it is too adorable. Yay for having your boys home. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteOh, Daisy is gorgeous! Greetings to her from our lovable and lazy Tucker (150 pounds of St. Bernard)!
ReplyDeleteThis post definitely gets me in the holiday spirit! The Mrs Claus outfit is SO adorable and would look so cute on Daisy! The Bitmoji is close enough in looks but definitely portrays you well in spirit.
ReplyDeleteMy kids and I just found those peppermint spoons at Walmart the other day; I have one boy who drinks hot cocoa daily and calls it "my coffee" so I know I need to go back and get those for him.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, I am so psyched for you and your walk thru!!! You all must be beyond excited, what a wonderful way to spend Christmas! You better buy Daisy that Mrs. Claus outfit, it is adorable.
ReplyDeleteYour bitmoji isn't nearly pretty enough to be you my friend!
Have a wonderful weekend and I'll be thinking about you!
xo,
Kellyann
Happy Friday! I hope you have been enjoying your day. I love that you are doing a we've moved card! And an outdoor fireplace?! You are speaking my kind of language. A flannel and a vest is one of my favorite combos for the winter. Happy December! I hope you have a great weekend and good luck with the walk through.
ReplyDeleteYour boys, doggie and bitmoji look super-ready for some Christmas cheer! But how come you look cute, sparkly and feminine in a tartan shirt and jeans, and I would look like a dowdy Mrs Lumberjack if I dared wear that combo? Is there anything you don't look fabulous in?! Hugs, x.
ReplyDeleteOh, wow, moving and putting up wreaths and a tree first off. You truly are amazing! What good looking young men you have. How funny, I just did my bitmoji this past week too. I've had so much fun with it. Yes, yours is a good replica of you. Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteI am so excited for you and your house! What a magical time of the year for it, too! I am so glad your pup is doing so well, at 13 years of age! What a blessing! I was just in American Eagle and splurged on some jeggings (yes, they talked me into jeggings and oh, do I love them!) and I did feel some of their flannel shirts and I am going to have to go back there and get one when I have some extra cash! I love those mugs with the lids, so cute!

ReplyDeleteHey friend! Happy Saturday. The nephews look handsome in the photo. The niece dog is too precious and yes she needs that outfit. I wish Brady would wear a shirt but he goes insane if I put anything on him. Meh, I may say forget it and get him a shirt and tell him tough stuff he has to be human for the holidays! I adore you sweet lady and hope your Saturday is met with sunshine and good wine! XOXOXOXO
ReplyDeleteMiss Daisy is a sweetie and she definitely needs the Mrs Claus outfit! I always learn something from you...bitmojis...Your boys are so willing to take pictures...you will treasure all those growing up shots. You wear plaid very well! Are your ferns still alive? It's going to get super cold here. We've been spoiled by mild temps. Hello to your mum. xoxo
ReplyDeleteI can'T wait to see your house!!!!! You must be crazy with excitement. I wouldn't be able to sleep.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, your Bitmoji is so so you! Even down to (up to?) the top knot!
ReplyDeleteI have that black/white stripe dress - I need to find a maroon cardigan - that looks perfect with it!
ReplyDeleteThe candy cane spoons look perfect for hot chocolate!
ReplyDeleteOk lady - Those peppermint spoons are a MUST have! I've yet to create my own Bitmoji but need to! Hope you have a wonderful week!1
ReplyDeleteYour bitmoji is adorable! Glad you had some time with your boys! Getting so close on your house...that is just so exciting!
ReplyDeleteYour bitmoji looks just like you, Andrea!! Although, I must admit I have no clue what a bitmoji actually is! I shall have to look it up lol. And Daisy is absolutely adorable.... that outfit would be perfect for her :)
