Welcome to a twofer Wednesday where I show you this beautiful red Vince Camuto off the shoulder and participate in What's up Wednesday with Shay, Sheaffer and Mel
And to top it off on this link-up Wednesday, I'm over at The Blended Blog today with a much more casual ensemble in another favorite color.
It's no secret I love off the shoulder and over the past couple years I have fell in love with Vince Camuto clothing and shoes. I absolutely love red but I don't have a lot of it in my closet so I was super happy to find this at Nordstrom.
It really is the perfect date night or night out top because all you have to do is throw black pants, black shoes and simple accessories with it. The red really does all the talking. I love that it's long enough that in addition to these skinny jeans, I could wear this top with leggings as well.
This top comes in 6 colors HERE
Now, time for some What's Up in the Nine neck of the woods
1. WHAT WE’RE EATING THIS
WEEK: with 2 boys back at college, I'm trying to make much more healthier meals. I came up with a couple new ones including this Sweet Italian Turkey Sausage and White Beans. Recipe coming Tuesday.
And guess what we're gonna be eating soon? Pumpkin pumpkin and the pumpkin sweet treat recipes. Remember my Pumpkin Palooza last year?
2. WHAT I’M REMINISCING
ABOUT: My niece had a baby girl on the 25th. She was my side kick when she was a little girl, oh I adore her, and now in addition to two of the sweetest big brothers, she now has a precious little girl of her own.
And guess what we're gonna be eating soon? Pumpkin pumpkin and the pumpkin sweet treat recipes. Remember my Pumpkin Palooza last year?

5. WHAT I’M DREADING: Nada
6. WHAT I’M WORKING ON: picking out lighting picking out landscape design.
7. WHAT I’M EXCITED ABOUT: Fall and more fall and everything that goes along with it all. High school football, college football with our beloved Notre Dame, and all the details of the house starting to emerge with installations.
8. WHAT I’M WATCHING/READING: So, I am sad to report that I am not really reading anything right now. Unless you want to consider the reading of house plans and Materials quotes. We did just finish up watching, I am so excited about, a short series on Amazon called The Night Manager. It was spectacular. While the series ended with the end of the book, it was so well received that they will be making a second season.
I have to tell you, we started binging House of Cards and kids, despite my love of politics, I could not get into it. For those of you that watch, please tell me to hang in there and that it will get better??
9. WHAT I’M LISTENING TO: Have you heard my boy, Brett Young's, new song? Like I loved you. Here it is.

10. WHAT I’M WEARING: How fun has it been to have a little bit cooler weather and bring out the booties, cardigans, leggings and long sleeve shirts. But what you're also going to see me wearing beginning this weekend, is my Notre Dame gear.
Let's go Irish!
11. WHAT I’M DOING THIS WEEKEND: watching the Notre Dame Irish of course, final prep for house going on the Market next week! Eek! And three cheers for a long weekend... The Labor Day holiday!

Yay football! Yay cute football out fits! I watched 1.5 seasons of House Of Cards and gave up...too slow for me. Yay for putting the house on the market. My mom's went up in June - under contract 3 days later - fell through - immediately under contract again in August - she's moving out in two weeks. So I wish you a speedy sale too! We may get back to 80 degrees today after a couple days away from it. And then we get rain from the hurricane that tore up Texas. Totally not going to complain one bit! xo love
ReplyDeleteRed is gorgeous on you, Andrea! I don't have that much red in my closet either, but it is a color that is growing on me! This OTS style top is just perfect! Congratulations to your niece! How sweet! Happy Wednesday!

But if they don't start soon, Lord knows how long we'll live at Russ' parents and that will get hard, quick. I hope your current home sells FAST!!!

I am loooooving the cooler temps!! Bring on football, hoodies and comfort food!
ReplyDeleteLove the red! It has been too hot here to really get into the fall spirit so we are trying to savor summer a little longer. I love what you are working on (being more relaxed with things and roll with it)...I need to do a better job of this! I love all your Fighting Irish looks, especially that one shoulder sweatshirt. You are SO CUTE in your Notre Dame gear!!!! And you know I love that red and black!! I'll be wearing a ton of it soon!!
ReplyDeleteAre you doing pumpkin palooza 2.0? The pumpkin stuff is starting to appear! I am excited about football starting as well, but it always takes me a few weeks to really get into it. It's hard to watch football when it's hot out, especially with an active little dude who would much rather be running around outside!
ReplyDeleteI love that top on you! Nordstrom for the win! I am so ready for football! Congrats on your niece's niece! How sweet! Hope you have a fabulous Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteYou look gorgeous in red!! And you seriously look like you do not age. You look gorgeous then (that photo of you and your niece) and you look gorgeous now! I hope to age like you!

Sexy mama! This is a stunning outfit on you. How do you get the shirt to stay put on your shoulders? I have the hardest time with that. We're heading to WSU this weekend to visit college boy and go to the first football game. Can't wait!
ReplyDeleteYes! I'm excited for pumpkin season! I am NOT going to encourage you to finish House of Cards- I hated the show! My husband loves it, but there is not a single character to cheer for, so I'm out!
ReplyDeleteYou are gorgeous in red! Love the black piping on that top! I watch House of Cards but there really aren't any likable characters so I understand why it's so hard to get into. Congrats to your niece!

I really enjoy yur blog and the mix of things you post about!! Ok, this question is off topic but I thought for sure it was your blog that I read quite awhile ago about a candle brand you really love. I think I pinned it at the time but finding things on my Pinterst boards is a challenge!! :) I might be the one person who isn't completely thrilled with the Bath and Body Works candles!
ReplyDeleteHi Janet! Here's a link to the candles I like...it's the Kentucky Bourbon one https://candleberry.com/kentucky-bourbon-brand/kentucky-bourbon-26-oz-jar.html
