I've said it many times, and I will say it again, there is just something about crisp white in the summer! While I've always been an off-the-shoulder girl, as you know, I've really been diggin one shoulders this year. When I saw this from the Loft I knew it would be perfect with just simple jeans and cute pumps!
There is an amazing Neapolitan pizza restaurant in town called Venturi. While the pizza is pretty delicious, what I love most is their seasonal bruschetta. From mid June until August, they have the most embarrassing heirloom tomato bruschetta that I have ever tasted in my life. I look so forward to it every summer and while I could eat a whole one by myself, Mr. Nine and I usually share.
This is what I wore on a night when we went there and you cannot see it in the pictures, but before dinner the wind blew the ruffle up in my face and I got lipstick on it plus Mr. Nine joked why would you wear crisp white to a pizza place?
I did manage not to get any pizza on it, and my taste buds were still screaming with joy after our meal there that night due to the homemade mozzarella the lemon oil vinaigrette topping and crispy homemade baguette bread. Something about those with the heirloom tomatoes just makes it extra special.
So I guess you could say this post combines two of my favorite things, well actually three, fashion, food and out to eat with my Mr. and sons. Any night like that is special, even if I do get lipstick on the ruffle, LOL!
And Tomorrow I am back again for Tasty Tuesday with a recipe that would most likely taste delicious with this Bruschetta! I'm hungry, see ya then!

ReplyDeleteWearing white to an italian restaurant and keeping it crisp is a feat!! I love the one shoulder trend so much - can't get enough and love this look on you! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteFirst, I love this date night look! The one shoulder white top is so versatile and I love it with your leopard clutch! And second, heirloom tomatoes are my absolute favorite. Love the idea of this bruschetta, it's one of my favorite appetizer! Happy Monday, Andrea!

I have to agree crisp white in the summer is so pretty and you put together a rocking outfit to go with it! I'm so clumsy though and will inevitably get a stain on it! lol The bruschetta looks amazing! Have a great week Andrea! xo Emily @ Martinis & Bikinis
ReplyDeleteYou are simply stunning in that one shoulder! So gorgeous friend! I am laughing about the wind blowing the ruffle up and you getting lipstick on it, that sounds so much like something that would happen to me, ha!!! That bruschetta looks incredible too. Happy Monday beautiful!

I, however, would have olive oil and tomato all over that pretty white top. Because I'm perpetually three years old. LOL! Happy week, love!
ReplyDeleteYou are rocking that one shoulder! It is a gorgeous top. And kudos to not getting anything on it, haha. Yummy!
ReplyDeleteYou guys are the best! That bruschetta does look ridiculous and really dangerous for white shirts. It's funny that the wind and the lipstick is what did it in though!
ReplyDeleteI think you could make a potato sack look adorable girl. You have such a fun sense of style and oh my goodness, that food looks divine!
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying our local tomatoes, too, this summer, but we're a little late to the party this year. We had our first bacon and tomato sandwich just last week. What can I say? It's been a busy summer! Mr. Nine is cracking me up and sounds just like my man! You look beautiful in white, my dearie! I'm going back to work today! Say a prayer for me!
ReplyDeleteEhh what's a little lipstick on a ruffle, right!?! You look so chic! I just had the yummiest cheesy garlic bread bruschetta at dinner the other night and am determined to recreate it! Have a great Monday!
ReplyDeleteThis one-shoulder top is SO chic and I just love the style of it! You look absolutely GORGEOUS and that dinner looks like it was so yummy!

ReplyDeleteHot mama! Love the one shoulder tops and you sport them so well. (especially white on that beautiful tan). The ruffle blowing up and getting lipstick on it...that would totally happen to me and I'd be worried about it the rest of the night...LOL. That bruschetta looks divine and I'm thinking I need to grab some of those little heirlooms from Costco and make some ASAP (which is Wednesday because Mon & Tue are low carbs days for me and Katie😜). We've yet to find a little Italian place that we absolutely love here. Sadness. The search continues. Have a beautiful week! XO
ReplyDeleteI honestly never see a one arm shirt & not think of you now. you can totally pull the look off in such a classy way
ReplyDeleteI'm cracking up..that so sounds like something Keith would say! We were able to eat some amazing Italian on our night away this past weekend. I'm still thinking abut it!

I love the crisp white one shoulder top! It's perfect with jeans and a splash of leopard print! This reminds me of the time I wore a pale blue ruffle OTS top when I went out for a curry...needless to say I was scrubbing it with Vanish when I got home! Thanks for linking up :-)

Cute look! I love the clutch and pumps. They so up the look of denim with a white shirt. Have fun in Germany. Thanks for joining the Top of the World Style linkup party.
ReplyDeleteok. Adding that restaurant to my list! How delicious!!! I'm hungry right now. I like how you styled the top with distressed jeans, heels and an animal print clutch. And the earrings? May they never go out of style - super cute. :) Also, encouraging to us marrieds to see you and your husband dating. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAndrea, I had to comment here not just because of your fabulous outfit but because of two things: I was at Loft yesterday and thought of you. So many pieces there reminded me of your fun, girly, bright style and they also had an one-sleeve top (similar to this one you have on) in baby blue. I love this outfit you created and those fun earrings.
ReplyDeleteThe other thing I wanted to say is that my job is next door to a Home Depot and they always have such pretty flowers and outdoor decor right outside. Your pretty porch and front door comes to mind because it is perfectly decorated for every season or holiday and this is no exception.
Last but not least, a fun fact: the week you posted this outfit and linked up with me I saved it as one of my favorites to feature it on my next week's Thursday Moda but due to time I skipped the favorites that next week but I was 100% going to feature this!
I miss you on my blog sweet Andrea. I will make an effort to stop by here often, too.
