This
is a look I definitely knew I could re-create as I had every single item
already in my closet. The perfect item to top it all off was this gorgeous Liz
Claiborne scarf the boys got me for Christmas. I just love how easy it all came
together.
I usually wear this dress in
the summer as you can see here.
I never used to like black with brown, especially black tights with brown boots but the combo has me sold now.
This jacket just has not gotten enough love. I got it like 15 years ago but never wore it a whole lot. Now that I see it with this outfit, I really like it. Still in major love with these wedge booties from Lucky Brand.
So how did I do on this one? It's one of my favorites.

ReplyDeletePerfect recreation! I feel like I try this and can never quite get the same affect but I would say that your version looks even better than the original!!
ReplyDeleteThis is SO cute! Way to think outside the box. Hmmm...I have a dress I rarely ware because it's so short but maybe I could make this work. Doubtful it would be as precious as you have pulled off!
ReplyDeleteYour dress is so cute, and I love how easily it transitions between the seasons! It sometimes still throws me off to wear black tights with brown, but your outfit looks so adorable!

That model you recreated your outfit from needs to scoot over, there's a new gal in town. You blew her outfit outta da water! Homerun. Touchdown. Matchpoint. Would never ever think to wear a lacy white dress in the winter with tights. Clearly, I need a lobotomy or at the very least a fashion intervention. You are my muse!!
