Oh my what a party pleaser!! We had these at New Years Eve but take these babies to any party or even a finger foods dinner and your family and guests will love you for these little golden nuggets!! They are so good.
The Parmesan crust with creamy and flavorful center just melts in your mouth. These are good warm or cold but they may not make it to cold as they get devoured quickly right out of the oven.
What you'll need
PARMESAN CHICKEN BITES
INGREDIENTS
1 (8-ounce) package cream
cheese, softened
1 (5-ounce) canned chicken breast
1 cup grated Parmesan
cheese, divided
1 small red bell pepper,
chopped
1/4 cup fresh parsley,
chopped
2 (8-ounce) cans refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
2 (8-ounce) cans refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
DIRECTIONS
Yum
- Heat oven to 350 degreesBeat cream cheese and 3/4 cup Parmesan with mixer until well blended. Stir in chicken. Separate dough into 8 rectangles; seal seams. Spread with cream cheese mixture; top with peppers and parsley. Fold each rectangle lengthwise into thirds to enclose filling; cut into 4 squares. Place, seam-sides down, on baking sheet; top with remaining Parmesan. Bake 13 to 15 min. or until golden brown.

A Blonde's Moment
These sound amazing! I'm pinning to remind me to make them for upcoming parties. I love using croissant rolls to make fun recipes.
ReplyDeleteOh my, they look so good. Would have to come up with a gluten free version, but I think it could easily be done.
ReplyDeleteMmm! I love how crescent rolls are so versatile! :)
ReplyDeleteI love all these ingredients, these sound like a great hit! YUM!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a yummy recipe! Coincidentally, chicken parm was the center of attention for dinner tonight. I rolled through the butcher counter of Fresh Market this afternoon and got these chicken parmesan breasts, already stuffed, just needed to be baked. I added broccoli and some pasta, and boom! Instant meal.

ReplyDeleteThese look really tasty! I would like to make these for our next birthday get together. In the Netherlands it's normal to bring around platters of nibbles to your guests, I get really bored with the usual cheese and sausage that is normally served. I have saved it for later.
ReplyDeleteThese look great, especially for a crowd!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! These sound so amazing. We even have a party coming up, although I'm pretty sure I will make them before the party. I'd love to have you link up at Tips and Tricks Monday night at 7pm mountain time on Fearlessly Creative Mammas.

What a great idea! First of all, I must be living under a rock because I had no idea chicken came in a can. Makes chicken salad so much easier!! Also, I never thought of throwing a finger foods dinner but am now in love with that idea. Thanks for linking up at #SaucySaturdays.
ReplyDeleteI love making these! I sometimes make a bigger dinner sized portion too and serve with a creamy chicken / sour cream sauce that is divine! These are teh perfect mini bite sized versions that are scrumptious for a football party! Addicting! thanks for sharing at our celebrate 365 Football Party Roundup!
