FRIDAY FAVORITES....Back In The Saddle

HAPPY, HAPPY FRIDAY! Hallelujah! Let's face it, folks, the Week back to work and the daily grind, after a week of vacation, is a lil rough! I am thankful it went fast! I ask myself, why was it so hard to get back to eating right and working out when I walked/ran 15,000 steps a day and ate lots of fruit and yogurt on vacation? Ummm, must have something to do with that darn Bakery that has me still feeling the carb coma!!! Here are my favorites as I got back in the saddle, so to speak, with the game of life!

1. SLUSHIES
That Frozen Concoction that helps me hang on.
Heck, I don't even care of there is alcohol or not......slushies rock!
Check out this Pitcher of Boozy Stawberry Lemonade Slushies!! YUM!
Come on over, I'll make a pitcher...or 2!!

Recipe Here

 2. OUTFIT LOVE
To me, this is sheer perfection!

3.WORK ATTIRE
The word for this week's work attire was billowy. After those bagels and Boston Creams, I wanted to feel comfy this week, hence, the flowy tops.

4. FAMILY PHOTO
Every year, we take a beach family photo, usually with our camera on timer. This year, as we walked down to the beach, we spotted our photographer friends who had taken our photos a couple years ago. They offered to take a dozen shots and here is my favorite. They were the only ones we got of all 5 of us together that week.

 5. HEIRLOOM TOMATO BRUSCHETTA
Last night my taste buds were treated to one of my favorite taste sensations of the Summer. Plus, it was my husbands and my first dinner out in a while without kids and better yet...on a weeknight! (I cook almost every weeknight), so what a treat. We have a local wood fired pizza place in town that was
Voted by Esquire's readers as the top 15 most life changing pizza in the nation. While good, it is not the pizza I crave, it is this Bruschetta. It only comes around in July when the Heirloom tomatoes are in season locally but the flavor, with the homemade mozzarella and olive oil basted bread are explosive and AMAZING!!!
