THE SCARF OF THE SEASON

Yes, I folded with the trend and just had to get "THE" tartan plaid blanket scarf that umpteen people have. But you gotta admit, it goes with a lot, is super soft, very versatile and if all else fails, I can use it as an actual blanket.

I even read the "How to tie a blanket scarf" tutorials but there is SO much material!! Seriously, I could get lost in this thing. The bulge is big but I got it to work for these photos. And how excited am I that I got to slide on my Hunter boots again!!

I feel like bursting into "It's Beginning to Look a lot Like Christmas" when I wear this.
So Festive!!

The light Chambray dress is the one my hubs got me on clearance at Eddie Bauer. Throw on a Cardigan like this J-Lo one from Kohl's and the dress goes into Fall time!!

Happy Happy Wednesday!!

FRIDAY FAVORITES...Blame it on the Rain

Rain, rain, go away. Well, usually yes, go far away Rain!! Don't get me wrong, Fall to me, is for crisp, walk in the leaves crunch and slight warmth from the autumn sun. However, there are some days where you're totally OK with a dreary, rainy day. In fact, there have been a couple days where I was like, oh I have the day off, please rain so I can do several of these things on my favorites list below. Today is one of those days!! Yay!!

But, first.......

Onto this Rainy Day faves...
1. RAIN BOOTS OF COURSE
Why I WANT it to Rain? These puppies!!

My first pair of Hunter Rain Boots in Military Red, just purchased this week!!
Obviously, I will need to obtain or need to recreate ALL of these outfits
The top left and middle pic and the bottom middle are my 3 Favorites!!!

My other favorite pair of rain boots I own; these leopard Sperry's

And a pair I want because of course we don't just need tall rain boots, we need short ones too!

2. CANDLES BURNING
There is just something so homey about candles burning on a rainy day, especially in the Fall and Winter months. Here are my favorite Fall candles that I burn regularly.

KENTUCKY BOURBON
This has been a long time favorite of mine. It's by a company called Candleberry and I get them online HERE
It literally smells up the entire house, even if you have a large one!! SOOO GOOD!!

Of course, you cannot go wrong with Bath and Body 3 wicks. There is a coupon floating around now for a FREE one with any purchase
The CARAMEL PUMPKIN  SWIRL is my favorite

3. IN THE CROCK and BAKING IN THE OVEN
Yes, don't you just love a lazy rainy day and the crock pot on low smelling oh, so good!! I did a post a few months ago called I LOVE MY CROCKPOT
where I noted 5 of my favorite CP recipes. Here's another great and easy one to warm up and flavor your rainy days.
