Living on Cloud Nine: Coffee crisps

I love a Friday but please oh please September slow down!!! I gotta tells ya kids, Mother Nature shined that sun so bright and magnificently this week. We are talking clear skies and 75-85 every day since Tuesday. BUT I am still mad at Mother Nature and Florence and the havoc she is bestowing upon all the wonderful east Coast Folks! I have been glued to the covered and Pray people have evacuated, that there is minimal damage and NO one gets hurt! 2. Lunch with Rolo....My High School BFF
There is just something so comforting about being around a friend who has known you for 35 years, who was your ultimate partner in crime all of high school. Who was rarely seen without the other. One of the things I adore about no longer working is having friends over for lunch. We just sit on the back lanai and chit chat and on this day, Rolonda (we called her Rolo in HS), and I also went for a walk. We have so many great memories. Two of our kids now go to the same college and the all the kids attended the same high school we did. I literally could go on and on about this sweet soul. She is beautiful, talented, loves our Lord and you just feel like a better person being around her. I even found our split BFF necklace that I have kept in my jewelry box all these years. Hopeful for more days like this!

Ok so for me, this really should be my ultimate FALL FIND of ALL TIME! $8 and I was super worried about ship time and quality but worry NO MORE because it got here in a week, is constructed great, fits well and is SOFT as can be and soooo ME! I love the color and Varsity design too. They have lots of other sayings as well but you know I am a PSL GIRL, skinny version of course. Note: another Fall SB Pumpkin Version to try..A Skinny Cascara latte with 1 pump pumpkin.

5. Misc. Fun

Coffee Crisps

My dear Blended Blog sister Shaunacey was in my thoughts several times this week. For one, she is seriously challenging me in a Fit Bit Challenge and two, I found an empty, yes Empty bag of my beloved Canadian treat, Coffee Crisps. Shaun had sent me my first bag and when we went to Toronto, I stocked up but they didn’t last long. I LOVE these things with coffee. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to make TBB trip in October or I’d have my Canadian friends bring me some. I may have to dish out some dough and just buy em’ on Amazon to tied me over!
