FRIDAY FAVORITES..WHAT YOU NEED EDITION

Happy Festive Friday! I’m super excited about this edition of Friday favorites because it is everything you need this holiday season from Fabulous Shapewear to creating memories to my favorite purchase of the year, the Spanx leggings! let’s get to it so you can get on your merry festive Friday way!

1.
How many of you have heard about SKIMS? It’s Kim Kardashian‘s new line of
Incredible Shapewear and you’ll be blown away at how great it fits. Such smooth pieces to go underneath all your holiday outfits, making you feel more confident and hiding any Christmas cookie muffin tops or bulges, LOL!

I also got some fabulous Thong Underwear as well as these terrific sculpted mid waist briefs!

2. Memories Made....
...with Our College Kids
Let’s face it, the best thing about the holiday season and really any time of year is creating memories with your family and friends! You need to do it! If you followed along on my Instagram stories last Saturday, you saw the fun time we had at Purdue. One of our sons goes to Purdue and the other one goes to Indiana University and Saturday was the Oaken Bucket where the two rivals played each other in football. How fun to hang out at the college bars with our boys and watch Indiana University win in double overtime!

...with Friends
Also got to spend time with a dear friend of mine and her precious niece for a festive holiday breakfast.

.....with our Birthday Boy
And on Wednesday traveled 4 hours down to Indiana University to see our oldest who had a birthday. Took him out to dinner, hung with some of his buddies and made the return for our trip home, all in one day. He’s a senior so hopefully this will be the last day trip to Bloomington, LOL! So blessed to see him on his actual birthday.

FRIDAY FAVORITES....LAST OF AUGUST EDITION

Oh am I ever glad Friday is here!! This week has been a doozy!! A DOO-ZY!!! Today was suppose to be lighting selection but since we blew our lighting budget on can and cabinet lighting, we'll be rearranging and instead finalizing cabinets today. The weather is beautifully cool, my mom and I are shopping later for house stuff and we will be under the Friday Night Lights at the High school football stadium tonight. Where will you be? And what are your favorites this week? Here's mine:

1. Starfish Project Jewelry
Starfish Project is a non-profit organization with a social enterprise that cares for women coming out of human trafficking and exploitation. They work by the principle of this parable.
The Starfish Parable: One day, an old man was walking along a beach that was littered with thousands of starfish that had been washed ashore by the high tide. As he walked he came upon a young boy who was eagerly throwing the starfish back into the ocean, one by one. Puzzled, the man looked at the boy and asked what he was doing. Without looking up from his task, the boy simply replied, “I’m saving these starfish, Sir”. The old man chuckled aloud, “Son, there are thousands of starfish and only one of you. What difference can you make?” The boy picked up a starfish, gently tossed it into the water and turning to the man, said, “I made a difference to that one!”

Just look at how beautiful their jewelry is. I adore these earrings.

2. Office College and A BETH BRIGGS Original
Remember, Last Friday I showed you some of my Pink Decor for my office at the house? Here are some pics I found at Hobby Lobby to make a collage on one wall, I plan on adding a gold arrow or cluster of wall flowers. My faux fur throw is going to be perfect to put over the couch.
You know there had to be a pineapple!!!

MY BETH BRIGGS Original.
If you haven't heard of her, you need to go visit her Etsy Store, She takes a picture of you and does a fashion illustration. Isn't the print she created for me adorable??? It comes matted as an 11x14. Just going to get a white frame and it will go in the office too. That is why she made the accents more pink than red.

3. Week's Attire
Boutique top, Old Navy skirt, Target sandals

Target top, Loft cardi, Zappos sandals

Target necklace, Gap top, JC Penny pants

4. Peplum Tops
Obviously loving a lot of corals colors this week. Remember the Peep Toe Tom Booties I showed you last week? Well, I was so excited to wear them and incredibly happy to find this peplum tee from Anthropologie in my coset with the tags still on!!! Winning!! It was an online clearance under $15 and even Mr. Nine said how cute it was. It was an 80 degree day but I still felt the booties went great with it. Just love forgiving peplum!

ANTHRO and FASHON FILES LINK-UP

We do not have an Anthropologie store close by. The only experience I had with this fun store was online after reading about their amazing pieces via bloggers. So imagine how excited I was to actually go into a store in Vegas and that they we're having a great sale day as well! This is such a fun store and it was Mr. Nine who spotted this darling embroidered top and fun cuffed jean capris to go with it!

I love the vibrant colors in it. And I happened to have the Kelly green lace up wedges, bracelet to match and I had just gotten some royal blue Sugarfix by Bauble Bar tassel earrings that compliment the tassels on the back of the top so well.

I absolutely loved how beautiful the Anthropologie store was and it smelled so good. There was a beautiful emerald green couch in there that I could just sit on all day amongst all the beautiful clothes and fun vibe.

Aren't the back tassels adorable?

I decided the perfect day to wear this was On Mother's Day as I knew we were going to a brunch at a place called Evil Czech were they have a cool graffiti wall or two.

What about you? Do you like the embroidery trend? I think it is just lovely and adds such a fun dimension to clothing as long as it's not over done.

LINK-UP stylish pals and head over to The Blended Blog to check out some amazing fashion re-creations!!!
