Happy May! Can you believe it? I hope it’s a start to a sweet month. Great week BUT NOT so sweet with something that happened last Sunday. I could do a whole post about it, but it was a very scary experience for Stella Mae and I. I was walking her down the road that I always walk her where two big Mastiff Dalmatian mixed dogs are with an electric fence. They’ve never tried to exit the fence but one broke through on Sunday and attacked Stella & I. I yanked her up by her harness, got her up in my arms on the third yank, covered my body around hers and just when it was ready to jump up on me, the owner came out. I’m not kidding when I say these dogs are the size of small ponies. Here’s the bad part. Come to find out that dog killed another neighbor’s dog a few months ago. Had I known (we should’ve been informed) I never would’ve walked Stella by the house and I never will again! She’s OK, very scared and has some red marks, but she will be ok. BUT what makes us upset...Mr. Nine sent a nice email this week regarding the incidents and he never responded nor checked in on us. RUDE! What if this happens to another neighbor?
Twins
Our Joy! Pop Nine and I got to play with them one day and then on Wednesday we went with them to a new play café in our area, called Wild+Wander. It was so precious, and they had the best time!
Tea and PJ’s
It was wonderful to have one of my oldest and dearest friends over on a dreary afternoon for tea and great conversation. Here’s the little spread I made and just look at the sweet pajamas with Stella, Mae’s face on them that she got me for my birthday. Get a Pair HERE!
Chat GPT Images
Some more cute ChatGPT cuteness I tried. It is so simple, and it turns a photo into a cartoon. Here are two of Mr. Nine and I including the photos I used and one I made of the twins.
Here is the prompt: (don't ask me what it means...lol, just type it in like this!)

Outfits
Just so simple anymore! I love that denim overalls are coming back and the short sleeve sweatshirt from Amazon comes in several colors and is so great! The perfect oversize fit, get your regular size.
Will you look at this, an 18 x 24 Canvas of the twins at 18 months! This is the perfect spot to hang it as we see it every time we come in through the mudroom. Easy Canvas has such good prices. It is so easy to use. Go check them out and get a great canvas HERE.
Nature/Botanical Gardens
Mom and I enjoyed a beautiful day a too local Botanical Gardens, where we are members. I love this picture of her and the gorgeous patnuiat were earn the tailored of beautiful blooms. Remver for a few summers, I would include an aspect I've loved in nature o my summer Fariday favs? I just might do that again.
In Case you missed it…
I hope you didn’t miss Monday’s post; my Picking Posies post about picking out my flowers are always some of my favorites! You can see in the comments that my troll noted that a gardener takes care of it all. That’s right, her name would be Andrea Nine as in me myself and I, lol!
You can read it HERE
I can say I’m finally done planting my dozens of posies and I can’t wait to watch them grow.
And poor little Stella Mae...Sore and not wanting to get out of bed..so sweet tho! You guys, those dogs were 30x's as big as Stella!
I'll be back Monday for the Monthly Amazon Prime Link-Up!

What a terrible ordeal with those dangerous dogs! I'm sorry you went through that... and now have to change your walking route to avoid the house with the dangerous dogs. So sad! On a happier note, the twins are so cute and how fun to get to spend a lot of time with them! The botanical garden pics are amazing! So pretty- have a great weekend!!
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry to hear about this incident! I cannot believe the owner didn't respond. Love all these cute looks and that canvas of the twins is so precious. Can't wait to see all your posies in their glory! Counting down the days until I get my planters done. :)

What a week with the dogs! So scary. Glad it turned out as good as it did.
ReplyDeleteYikes! I am glad you and Stella are ok. The cartoon version of the twins looks like precious moments! Have a wonderful weekend!!
ReplyDeleteLucky you didn’t have the twins with you. Don’t know how it works in the US, where I am in Australia if a dog attacks another dog or person, it is usually put down by the local council. Rita
ReplyDeleteOh gosh! What a scare for you with those big dogs and how worrying that they are known to have killed another neighbours dog. I am glad Stella is OK. Poor thing.
ReplyDeleteAww! The twins! Adorable! It looks like you all had the best time together.
What an amazing spread you put on for your friend and those pj's are just brilliant.
Those ChatGPT creations are fab! I have been messing about on it making anime type pictures of my photos.
Those gardens are just beautiful!
I am so sorry about your dad's dog. Sending love and hugs.
That is awful about the dog attacking. Maybe you can report it to the town or post it somewhere so other neighbors know to stay away. Otherwise everything else is cute and happy!
ReplyDeleteWhat an awful experience, although dalmatians and mastiffs are generally amiable breeds, the mutts may be penned up/no exercise and become aggressive. Thankfully it was not an American bulldog or pitbull, the owner may not have been able to control him. When I'm in the states I always carry pepper spray when out, it's a good non-lethal defense against aggressive dogs especially the bully dog varieties.
ReplyDeleteThat is so scary! I can't believe the owners weren't required to put that dog down after it killed another dog! I'm glad you are both ok! Love the canvas of the girls. That pic is adorable!
ReplyDeleteI gasped after reading your story! I am so sorry, but I am so glad that you are both OK. It's also totally unacceptable that the owner never responded to your email. Anyway! On a happier note, the twins are precious, and they look like they are really thriving! Those botanical gardens look beautiful, and I love all of your outfits. Have a glorious weekend, my friend XO. ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry about your dad's dog. The story of you and Stella being attacked was so scary! I am glad you weren't hurt but poor Stella!! It's so strange and disturbing (and NEGLIGENT) that the dog owner didn't respond or reach out. That happened to a family member's dog and they were compensated for the vet bill immediately. Did you get the police involved? The twins are so sweet and adorable. I bet they love days with you and Pop 9 and that canvas of them is stunning. That tea spread looked amazing. I've been using Chat GPT for some fun things too. It's so handy! Love seeing you and your mama's adventures. You are so blessed. Hey, I never stopped wearing denim overalls...lol! I did just get a new pair though. :)
ReplyDeleteOh gosh that is so scary; I'm glad you weren't hurt and that Stella only got a few small injuries. That botanical garden looks so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGosh, how scary. I mean Piper is 40 lbs and we've been scared when a dog off leash has run up on her.
ReplyDeleteSending love and hugs.
The twins are so adorable...how do they do with Stella? Maybe you said and I missed it?

Wow, that is just terrible about the situation with those dogs. I'm so glad that Stella is ok and not hurt too bad. What a scary situation and a terrible owner of those dogs. The twins are just adorable playing with each other. Enjoy your flowers and gardening.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the blog visit and I love biker shorts for the summer.
I hope have a good weekend Andrea.
First of all: scary! I hate lose dogs because it scares me and I am so glad you both were relatively unharmed. Love your overalls and fun outfits. The twins are so cute as usual!

Oh my goodness about the dogs! Sending lots of hugs to sweet Stella. And loving that canvas of the twins - beautiful <3
ReplyDeleteOh, that is SO scary!! I worry about dogs when I run... but, even scarier if you have a little dog with you. You acted quickly and I'm sure it saved her from a worse case. I really hope the owners realize their electric fence isn't working, especially after a death. Just awful... OHHH, you are making me want to throw a tea party for a few friends of mine!! That is such a neat idea, thanks for the inspo!!!
