Hi February Friday! We made it! Heading out boutique shopping with mama, brunch with family tomorrow and Super Bowl Sunday! But I’m not that excited about the game this year. Hopefully the commercials are good and TBH I don’t remember who the halftime entertainment is, (shrug shoulders) lol! I DO remember that I love Fridays, Favorites and YOU! Oh, and my tooth is better, yay!
Tea with The Twins
Of course, my ultimate favorite of the week involves the twins! All my life I’ve dreamt of a tea party with granddaughters. You may remember me talking about this on the blog that my mom got me a tea set years ago and told me this is to have tea parties with my granddaughters hopefully someday and it all came true. I wasn’t sure they were ready for it but boy, did we have a good time. Bear Bear joined us. And I had Mr. Nine jealous that he had to work and wasn’t there for it.
Water Fountain Candle
Last summer when my mom and I were up in Saugatuck, Michigan, she bought the coolest water fountain candle, with a beautiful light and calming sound in a cute little boutique. I was admiring it over the holidays, and she surprised me the other day with one of my very own, including the beautiful champagne color on it, which I love. So sweet of her! LOVE hearing it trickle when I am reading. Can't find online but AMAZON does have them, they are just currently unavailable.
Mr. Nine brought home the prettiest loaf of sourdough bread on Tuesday! My dear friend Lacey, who is the wife of a coworker of his has been cultivating and creating beautiful sourdough bread! It was just as delicious as it looks! All our sons gals have been on the sourdough train, and we got them cool sourdough starter kits but I have yet to make any, I’m starting to get the itch! Do you make sourdough?

Since we are talking a major sporting event this weekend with the Super Bowl, I thought I would talk about a fun baseball game. After the kids got married and moved from Baltimore last summer, we went to visit them in Cleveland and went to a Guardians baseball game! We had a “Ball.”

Not sure about the Superbowl yet. We'll probably watch it? Love the tea party with your grands- those outfits and the whole set up is just too cute!! What an amazing candle! I want one quite a bit :). Lovely outfits as well. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful it is when dreams come true! A tea party with your granddaughters is just the sweetest thing.
ReplyDeleteI haven't watched or been to a Superbowl party since I was in high school! Even then I don't think I watched anything but the commercials and was mostly there for the food. So glad to hear your tooth is better. That must be such a relief. Yay for having a tea party with your granddaughters. I haven't jumped on the sourdough bandwagon yet but have thought about it often.
ReplyDeleteI want that water fountain candle and how adorable is tea with the twins? Love all these chic looks my friend!

What a fun tea party! I have had sourdough starter for years, but mostly just make discard recipes... almost never bread. I have been getting the itch to make some though. And we always host for the Super Bowl. It should be a fun one.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute tea party! I've already been ordering more from Amazon this month, but I did link up on Monday. I like that brown sweater with the stripes on the sleeves!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun tea party! The twins look precious! Love that last sweater you're wearing! The water fountain candle sounds cool!

It sounds like you have a great weekend planned. I will be looking forward to seeing the commercials during the Super Bowl. They're always so good.
ReplyDeleteAww! The tea party with the girls is just adorable. I love their outfits.
That candle is beautiful and the sourdough bread too.
Grandchildren are such a blessing and so fortunate when they live nearby! We did not live near our parents when our kids were young, so I never take for granted that I can hop in the car to see ours !
ReplyDeleteI have a couple of friends that make sourdough everything, but I haven't started that yet.
ReplyDeleteLove the twins,
XOXO
Jodie
The twins are adorable and how fun to have the tea party with them. I love that beautiful looking bread. I haven't been on the bread making bandwagon but it sounds like it would be fun to make sometime. I like making Irish Soda Bread each year for St. Patrick's Day. As always you look great in all of those outfits. I'm looking forward to the colab. I hope you have a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteAww that tea party is already TWO cute! You must be having a blast with them. That sourdough looks incredible. Yum! Loving your chic outfits. I have been loving the Scoop line at WM. I hope you're off to a great day and fun weekend!
ReplyDeleteThat sourdough looks so pretty. I recently created a new starter and have been making crackers for my husband daily - but haven't spent the time to bake bread yet - maybe this weekend.
ReplyDeleteThey look like they are having so much fun with that tea set. So adorable! The water candle sounds really neat too!
ReplyDeleteThat mocha multi-colored sweater is super cute! And go Eagles!
ReplyDeleteThat's the best tea party ever! So cute. Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteYour post radiates warmth and excitement for the little joys in life! The tea party with your granddaughters sounds like such a heartwarming experience—those moments are truly priceless. And that water fountain candle sounds like a dream for cozy reading sessions.
ReplyDeleteI love how you mix fashion, family, and fun traditions in your posts! The Mocha Mousse color trend sounds intriguing—can't wait to see how you and the Blonde Squad style it. Also, the blazer find from Walmart is such a great tip; stylish and affordable fashion is always a win!
Enjoy your boutique shopping, brunch, and the Super Bowl weekend (even if it's just for the commercials!). 🥂🏈💕
A tea party with your sweet Littles! I'm sure it will be the first of many and how fun that will be! My oldest daughter started making sourdough once the new year began and she made a loaf for us when we were there last week! So yummy! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteOooh....what a precious tea party! You are blessed! Have not tried sourdough bread but am going to try some bread recipe that you make in cast iron skillet. We are excited for the Super Bowl - GO EAGLES!
ReplyDeleteTea parties with twins - what fun!! And sour dough bread is my absolute favourite!
ReplyDeleteLook at the sweet girls!! So Precious!
ReplyDeleteThat photo of the twins at their tea party is so adorable. I also love your outfits, and that sourdough bread looks delicious. Oh, and that candle sounds lovely! Anyway! I hope that you had a wonderful weekend, my friend! XO, Caroline
ReplyDeleteThe tea party with the twins... absolutely precious! I know you are over the moon being able to snuggle those sweet girls all the time!
ReplyDeleteI grew up in the NJ suburbs outside of Philly so felt invested in the game lol. I fell asleep during the third quarter as we'd spent the whole weekend at my daughter's celebrating our youngest granddaughter's first birthday. I love the tea party set! I look forward to tea with my girls and their girls. My oldest has been living in the UK and on her birthday (the mom's) she took her 2 year old to tea in Cambridge and they both loved it. Have a nice week!
ReplyDeleteSuch cute tea time with the girls and bear bear! I love your outfit with the blazer! I really enjoy blazers in the spring. I tried sourdough once but I don't have the patience for it, so I just make quick no knead bread. I actually need to make a loaf this week! Maybe tomorrow...

Hi Andrea, it's so nice to *virtually* meet you! Your twin granddaughters are so gorgeous. You're so lucky! I'm still waiting for a grandchild and I think I might be waiting for a while! I had twins myself - twin boys who are now 31. That sourdough does look really cute with the loveheart shapes. I've never made sourdough but I am curious to! I think both those outfits look fabulous on you! Thanks for linking up with #WWWhimsy - hope you enjoy the rest of your week!
