Not too long ago, Mr. Nine, our youngest and myself had the most amazing melt in your mouth hot cheese dip. Just saying the words hot cheese makes me happy and my taste buds start doing a happy dance. When I realized how easily I could duplicate this at home, I was giddy with cheese joy.
Yum
Yum
The restaurant we were at is a local farm to table and I thought maybe they sold the bacon jam they used in this but I couldn't find it so I quickly got online and found the bacon jam with the best ratings and got that jar on speed order!
Creating this at home was so stinking easy and you will wow your guests and family with this two ingredient dip, sure to be a hit for every get together to come. We literally ate it right over the kitchen counter. The restaurant served it with a little soft breads but what I had on hand were bagel chips and pita chips. The pita chips were my favorite but since I have a feeling I'll be making this a lot, I can't wait to try other things dipped in it.
What You'll Need
BRIE & BACON JAM DIP
INGREDIENTS
1 wheel Brie Cheese
Desired Bacon Jam ( I used 4 Tablespoons for the bottom of a 2 cup ceramic dish)
assorted pita chips, bagels and breads
DIRECTIONS
Turn broiler on the oven. In an small oven safe ceramic dish spread desired bacon jam, then cut up the wheel of brie and put chunks on top jam. Broil until melted and sides start to brown. Top with a crumbled piece of bacon if desired. Serve warm. THAT EASY!!!
