Ahh we made it to Friday!!! I don't know about you, but I'm ready for a cozy Fall weekend!! We are still in mourning over our first Irish football loss last weekend but anticipate a "W" tomorrow. Tonight, we head into our toughest high school game and hoping it's chilly enough to wear gloves or else I'll be biting my nails all night. This time of year there is nothing better than warm drinks in cute mugs, soft blankets and socks, and all things cozy. This Friday favorites is dedicated to all things warm and cozy!!
1. New Mug
Instant love when I saw this mug from Target on my Twitter feed for 3.99!! I immediately went to order one online but they were not available for shipping. My local Target said limited stock so how lucky was I to score the last one. Here is a pic from my Sunday morning coziness!! The blanket is a gift from the ladies that work for me and it's my all-time favorite "blankie!" I always take it on road trips with me and somehow it even got "smuggled" on a plane to Colorado!!

These blanket scarves are everywhere!! I saw one at Meijer for $20 that was perfect but kept putting it off and alas, they are gone. However I scored one on eBay for half the cost and now just need to study these darling pics for inspo and pray its not too hot around the neck for this hot blooded forty-ish woman!! Ha!

That second blanket scarf is definitely my favorite too!! I just got an ivory tunic to wear with leggings and I think I need something like that to liven it up a bit!

Eek YES; totally with you and busted out tights and booties this week. Our freaking office was 65(!!) and it was just time! Love, love those sweater socks; you're inspiring me. Good luck with the blanket scarf; I know you can rock it (even if you start sweating; it's inevitable with that thing). I started "styling" mine last year using a safety pin so it's not such a chunky knot; I just pin it and place and it magically stays ;) Have a wonderful weekend and hope you get that "W"! xx
ReplyDeleteI love those slipper socks but unfortunately it's too hot here to wear anything Fall-ish...I gave my sister a pair of those socks for Christmas years ago and she's been asking for me. I will have to check Kohl's website cause the stores here won't sell them. Comfy blankets are the best to snuggle up on the weekends. I look forward to doing that!!
