FRIDAY FAVORITES..OCTOBER DON'T GO

Happy Happy Friday! Well, I gotta tell ya, this week has been one of the most uneventful of the year! We didn’t even win the lottery. Lol. I really don’t mind a bit about either, just going with the sweet flow of life! However, I do hate to see October go. I do hope you’re happy it’s Friday and looking forward to whatever you’re doing this weekend, big or small!

1. BOOTS & More BOOTS
Oh my goodness, boots make me a little crazy, so many styles, so much goodness. I’ve found a little bit boot crazy as you may remember from the two in last Friday’s post. The Sorel Boots are a gift from Mr. Nine. I was browsing Nordstrom‘s website, looking at boots, when he looked over my shoulder and saw these. He said “I really like those, get em’! So I did, took them on our trip and love. (and they are waterproof) The Tassel Cognac Boots are another Target win and so fun! I love these Tassel Ones too. And I am crazy for these Tassel Uggs. Do you love boots?

The PINK NAUGHTY/NICE PILLOW
I must admit, I went shopping this week and bought some Christmas decor. So I’m probably going to start showing you some holiday finds. This pink Naughty/Nice PILLOW is a huge under $20 win and it goes with my glam space decor so well! Now, which side to showcase???

4. Fuzzy Vest...Slouchy Boots
This has got to be one of my all-time favorite outfits and wore it last Friday to begin our trip. These are the Slouchy Boots I was telling you about Last Friday from Target. They were so comfy and such a great price. The fuzzy vest and tunic by Lush were both from Dry Goods.

5. Misc. Fun
1st Sectional Game
Look at our #9 with the ball. A little emotional tonight as it is the first game of the sectional but may very well be the last football game our #9 ever plays in if they lose. They play a team they upset in sectional last year but let me tell ya, that team is GOOD. Hoping for the best and I’m getting popcorn, lol!

Posts from the Week
There was lots of Fall goodness on the Blog this week. Monday, I recapped our Trip North to Michigan. I pulled out warm deliciousness for ya on Tuesday with the Baileys Pumpkin Hot Chocolate and on Wednesday, it was a favorite Boho Outfit on the TBB Fashion Link-Up post.

Let's Talk Christmas
Yeah, I love October but if it has to go, I'm ready! My dear and hilarious friend Amanda wrote a post this week why she is so ready for the Christmas season and truth is..me too!! Check it out HERE and know, I too, shall be playing Christmas tunes the day after

BOHO BABES & TBB FALL FASHION LINK-UP

Boho got me like YES! So excited to be heading the prompt today over at and checking out all my Boho babes out there. This lady loves a fun bohemian style and I’ll keep my flares forever!
I saw this Sweater on ShopBop and knew the bright colors with the baby blue stripe would look awesome with my flared jeans. It just made the perfect Boho sense and these sleeves, these sleeves are sooo FUN!

And why is it, I always feel the need to either wear a braid of some sort or a hat when I dress boho? Here is a little side braid and luck was on our side of our last Fall getaway day when the winds finally died down enough to get these photos. my sweet Mr. Nine did a great job. I love how this color really pops. And these Earrings, under $10, were perfect with it. There are so many color choices of these awesome earrings too!

And make sure to read HERE how my sweet friend Amy Ann of Straight A Style Blog wore this sweater. You'll adore her look and the pants she chose.

BAILEYS PUMPKIN HOT CHOCOLATE

Get Cozy with this warm deliciousness! So, you know I do love some pumpkin but not in your face overly clovey nutmeg overdosed pumpkin but mild flavored light on the cinnamon pumpkin, lol. So, this light on the sweet hot chocolate with my beloved chilly season Baileys is just what the Doctor Andrea ordered! Tasty! And I promise no more Pumpkin Recipes til next Fall. Grab a cookie and a mug and sit with your thoughts, a book, a friend or your favorite TV show! I drank one of these about 8pm one evening and slept like a baby!

Cutest little napkins are from Home Goods.

What you'll need

Baileys Pumpkin Hot Chocolate
INGREDIENTS
2 oz white baking chocolate
2 oz milk chocolate (I used chocolate chips)
1 3/4 cup Milk
1/3 cup pumpkin purée
1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
3 oz Baileys Irish Cream Liquor
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Whipped topping and
Pumpkin pie spice for garnishing.

DIRECTIONS
In a small saucepan, combine chocolates and milk over low heat until the chocolate is melted. Whisk in the pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice and Baileys and whisk for a minute. Remove from heat and whisk in the vanilla. Serve immediately with whipped cream and sprinkled with pumpkin pie spice. Serves 2. **Of course you can totally omit the Bailey's and just have a pumpkin Hot chocolate, maybe replace it with a little heavy cream or Half-n-Half.

Gotta Have the Whip!
