FRIDAY FAVORITES...IN THE PINK EDITION

Happy Friday Friends! I am having a kind of like/hate relationship with this empty nest thing. Thanks goodness these are my favorite months coming up and lots to keep me busy. Thank you for indulging me in Pink Week. Lots more pink related goodness to bring you today too.

1. Baby Shower

My mom and I attended the sweetest baby shower last weekend for my cousin. Talk about overjoyed over the fact that the baby is a girl and of course all the pink love! On my dad's immediate side of the family, this is the first girl since her sweet mama, my cousin Abby, was born almost 32 years ago!

2. Low Carb Snack Idea

I am a snacker for sure! I recently discovered this fabulous low carb snack and my family loved it as well! I did the math, and you can eat 16 of these and it’s only 100 calories! So flavorful! Just Turkey Pepperoni with a smidge of low fat soft cream cheese and a little piece of banana pepper.

4. FLORAL HALTER DRESS WITH RUFFLES

I was over the moon for this beautiful floral and ruffle dress from Lulus! Have you ever shopped at Lulu’s? Their stuff is so stinking cute! And I found the perfect lace up fuchsia block heel sandals to go with it! They were so comfortable, and they come in four colors!

TICKLED PLUM PINK

The title of this post, as we continue with Pink Week, was inspired by influencer Cassie Sugarplum and her clothing collection Hi Sugarplum at Nordstrom.

Ok, bit of confession, I don’t follow her at all but some of my friends do. She is close to my age and cute as a bottom. But I’ve heard her clothes aren’t that great and they tend to get bad reviews! Was I skeptical? Yes? But when I saw some of her new prints and styles, I decided to give one dress a try as I was in the market for one for a shower. 

I knew the minute I saw the colors and cute ruffled neck, that I would like it this DRESS. And guess what? It has pockets. The A-line flow is super forgiving and the big bow in the back was just icing on the cake. This versatile dress comes in "NINE" colors and patterns and I think every single one of you will love it.

It came down to this and another dress for the shower and I went with that one, but I kept this for another function as I’m so in love with the colors in it, just gorgeous!

PINK WEEK...STARTING WITH PinkBlush

It’s PINK WEEK around here! Bringing you a little pretty in pink this week on the Blog. This idea was all inspired by my LOVE of PinkBlush!

It’s oversized and comfy with 2 super cute front pockets! I love that this one you can dress up or down. This pink shade looked gorgeous with white jeans and my new Sam Edelman Boots. I just love how this outfit turned out. Such a GREAT Sweater for Fall! AND it comes in 6 GORGEOUS Colors!!! Just wait til you see this COLOR! It'll be perfect with leggings too!!
