JAZZ HANDS, JAZZ FEET & POLKA DOTS

Ok, I couldn’t resist. You know I love murals and I was so excited to get pictures in this jazzy little number by a cool jazz mural in a nearby town. But what prompted me even more to do a little jazz hands is one thing I wished I done in high school was be in show choir. I absolutely probably did not have the voice for it, but I definitely had the moves. LOL. And then I was hoping one of the boys would be in show choir, but they had no interest. Maybe I’ll have a grandchild to perform glee-sequel performances but in the meantime, I can listen to some smooth jazz and dream.

This little dress is dreamy indeed and I couldn’t believe it was under $60 because it is so classy. It is by LuLu's, which is a site that I love but I got it via Nordstrom. I knew right away that I would pair my jazzy new Vionic Leana Sandals with it! I think these might be my favorite pair of black shoes I own! The minute I put them on, it was like walking on clouds. I had heard that every shoe Vionic creates is top quality and comfort and oh is that ever the truth! This pair will not be my last! I also got a pair of Charlie sandals for my son, and he just loves them! I adore that they have both men’s and women’s to meet all your style and comfort shoe needs!

The dress is very flattering and will flow with your curves. It has adjustable straps, and I just loved the length! The perfect little summer dress at such a great price!

LEATHER AND LACE

I had been stalking the Lulu's site for a couple months hoping this white lace Jumpsuit would come back in stock in my size in time for my birthday and lo and behold the week before it was available! Plus, I just knew that my croc embossed Teddy Blake bag would look divine with it and be the perfect size!

What an easy outfit to pull together and perfect for an unusually warm Windy City evening! I will have more about our Chicago overnight trip next week, but I had to immediately share this JUMPSUIT and this bag ASAP as I think this might be one of my favorite outfits!

 

This is my 3rd Teddy Blake Bag, and I could not be happier! The hardware on this Chiara 11” croc embossed bag in nude

is so beautiful, and I love that it has a divider, so you’ve got two nice roomy compartments. The nude color gives off a pink tint and it is absolutely striking! And the luxurious packaging is icing on the cake! Treat yourself to a Teddy Blake bag and Mother’s Day is approaching!

 

All I needed was white statement Earrings and Nude Heels and I was good to go, garnering so many compliments on the streets of Chicago. I just love it when an outfit you really want comes together for what you really want it for, LOL!

And that is my advice to you today, when an item is out of stock, keep stalking the site or adding your email for restock notifications as that has worked for me many times.

FRIDAY FAVORITES...IN THE PINK EDITION

Happy Friday Friends! I am having a kind of like/hate relationship with this empty nest thing. Thanks goodness these are my favorite months coming up and lots to keep me busy. Thank you for indulging me in Pink Week. Lots more pink related goodness to bring you today too.

1. Baby Shower

My mom and I attended the sweetest baby shower last weekend for my cousin. Talk about overjoyed over the fact that the baby is a girl and of course all the pink love! On my dad's immediate side of the family, this is the first girl since her sweet mama, my cousin Abby, was born almost 32 years ago!

2. Low Carb Snack Idea

I am a snacker for sure! I recently discovered this fabulous low carb snack and my family loved it as well! I did the math, and you can eat 16 of these and it’s only 100 calories! So flavorful! Just Turkey Pepperoni with a smidge of low fat soft cream cheese and a little piece of banana pepper.

I was over the moon for this beautiful floral and ruffle dress from Lulus! Have you ever shopped at Lulu’s? Their stuff is so stinking cute! And I found the perfect lace up fuchsia block heel sandals to go with it! They were so comfortable, and they come in four colors!

EYELET LOVE

Oh, Eyelet how I love you! Especially in a crisp white! You may remember I was going to take this DRESS for a Chicago dinner, but since it was at an Italian restaurant, I thought I better not wear white! But you can bet it went on my next vacation with me. The holes at the waist or see-through but does not show too much skin. I just love the length, the sleeves. And how darling is the back?

 All about flutter sleeves this season!

I felt like this precious Summer DRESS needed some bright color to jazz it up and these new LuLu lace up sandals were perfect. Don’t you just love the color? AND the petals on the Rose of Sharon bushes matched perfectly!!
