LAVENDER LEATHER & NEW YEAR STYLED LINK-UP

There is something about lavender that is so calming and feminine. It always reminds me of my great grandmother, who just loved the color. A lavender spritz on my pillow, a lavender piece of clothing like this darling jacket, or pretty lavender in the fields, for some reason the color just makes me feel at peace.

Our mall recently got a store called Dry Goods which houses all kinds of trendy clothing and accessories. I saw this lavender leather jacket hanging on an end cap And knew I wanted it but since it was so close to the holidays I refrained and told my mom about it instead and she so sweetly surprised me with it at Christmas.

I have always loved grey with colors like lavender and pink ever since I was a little girl. So I knew right away this would be the perfect jacket to pair with my grey jeans from Nordstrom. (similar HERE) The asymmetrical white sleeveless top underneath was a gift I got my mom for Christmas from Macys and I borrowed it back because I thought it would look pretty under this jacket.

I searched and searched my house for some silver pumps I got years ago and when I couldn't find them, realized that I had sold them at a garage sale. How silly, don't I know by now that metallics are classics, LOL! I found a pair online and have fallen in love with them can't wait to find goodies in my closet to pair them with in addition to these grey jeans.

Despite the store DryGoods, being chocked full of great clothes and stellar clearance racks, I could not find this jacket online for y'all. However, I did still see a few in the store. So if you have a Drygoods in a mall near you, maybe you can scoop this up. It's a great transition jacket into the spring time where lavender definitely shines in the Spring color palette.
