SWEET ANNOUNCEMENT

I can’t believe it’s been 2 1/2 years since we lost our precious Daisy Mae (read that tearjerker post HERE) and I was ready for a new doggie about a year after. However, Mr. Nine was not and we are a couple and make these decisions together and it was important to me that he was on board too. I did beg and plead for many months but he just wouldn’t budge.

Broken hearts are hard sometimes.

But a Christmas miracle happened when he told me the puppy search could begin on Christmas night! Or maybe it was the I don’t want to hear Andrea asking for a puppy anymore or maybe it was my wife’s been through a lot this past year and the time has come for her wish to come true. Or maybe it truly was that Mr. Nine was finally ready too!

 

Whatever it was, it felt like a miracle to me, and we are both so excited, we were over the moon to meet her this past weekend and cannot wait to bring her home & introduce her to you!

We bring her home on February 5th and it is going to be such a glorious day! Yes yes, I know we may have some sleepless nights but the joy that fur babies bring will make it all worth it! She is the perfect little doll to add to our family and as empty-nesters, I think we just really needed her!

 

Some of you may have seen my Instagram Reel announcing we were getting a puppy on Monday. I know, it might seem over the top to announce a puppy but it’s a sweet big deal to us! And we had to laugh that we wondered how many people who didn’t read the caption would think us 50 something’s were having a baby when they saw us holding up the little sweater, lol! A couple people did and one lady thought we were getting fur baby#9!! Whoa, I only want one, or two, lol!

 

Captured these hilarious pictures of Mr. Nine holding the little sweater, which is going to be way too big for her, lol, as we were trying to get the video for Instagram, too cute!

QUEEN OF HEARTS & LINK-UP

The Queen of Hearts has always been my favorite card in the deck of 52 so how fitting that our fashion prompt this week is in fact, Queen if Hearts! Just in time for Valentine’s Day! the heart eyes are lit up over here for this precious heart baseball tee. It is so soft and comfy and with as cold as it has been here, there’s really no getting dressed up to go out, so I snazzied up this cutie for a night in with my Mr. Nine. 

I can’t wait to wear it with some converse and jeans and maybe some jeans shorts and it even works with leggings or jammie bottoms. Hearts are welcome all year long. Amazon Prime baby so you can totally have this by next week’s day of love and then wear it all year long. Several cute styles and is under $20! 

Oh, how I love me some white pumps. No, I cannot wear these beauties outside yet but I sure do love them. So crisp and fresh! And I have been on a kick of wearing cute accessories in my hair as well! Just love this fresh white headband. It stays in place so well and the bow part has wire in it so it doesn’t stick up and lays great!

LOVE & TBB STYLE LINK UP

It is that time of year to bring out all the extra LOVE! Monday we brought you TBB ASKS love theme edition of and today, it’s my favorite new LOVE sweater from The Loft. I know, I know, you'll be seeing lots from The Loft as the UPS man thought I bought the store, lol. Really, I just hit the sale jackpot and most everything fit. To say I "LOVE" it , is an understatement! 

I wear the under $7 red Bandana Headband all the time and grey just looked so good with the red. With all the snow in our area, red glossy Hunter's were the obvious choice. I wear these puppies all the time. I really feel if you don't have a pair, you need them and will lOVE them!

  

The wood is waiting but this winter has been so cold, we still have not had a fire in our outdoor fireplace. And I even have everything for s’mores, lol!
