FRIDAY FAVORITES....SUMMER IS HERE

Well, what a week!! The President came to town, I only worked two days as I finished up party stuff for the grads and the weather was magnificent!! Yep Sunday is the day, two boys of ours will walk across the stage and tears of joy will fill this mama's eyes!! May you have a Summer-esque weekend filled with all the things you LOVE!!

1. Pineapple Mimosas
Two things I'm crazy about mimosa's and pineapples...oh and easy!! Everyone needs one of theses this summer!!

1/3 cup sparkling wine or champagne

1/4 cup pineapple juice

1-2 tablespoons lemon-lime soda (like 7up) - add more if you don't like it too sweet.

Make sure sparkling wine/champagne is chilled. Pour into a champagne flute and add pineapple juice. Add the splash of lemon lime soda and garnish with fresh pineapple.

2. Iris Love
I have always loved peach iris's. A few years ago, a sweet friend of my moms gave me a few clusters and look how gorgeous they have become!! The lavender base petals are what make these truly special and beautiful!! 

And who else did not know the title of the song is "Iris?"

 I have loved the Goo Goo Dolls forever and just learned the title! 

3. Week's Attire
Now that Indiana temps are in the 80's and here to stay for awhile, dressing much lighter for work. yay!!

Loft Cardigan, Target dress and Sandals

Forever 21 top, Old Navy skirt, Target Sandals

Errands day; I know you're seen this tee before from Express, but look at the perfect necklace to go with it from Target.

4. Pineapple Wine Glasses
Maybe I'll go for a fat mimosa and put it in these new stemless wine glasses instead of the skinny flutes...just cause they are so stinking' cute. From Marshalls and boy do they have some cute glasses right now.

5. Weekend Snaps
Memorial Day weekend was so grand; accompanied my Mr. Nine on a fly fishing, hiking morning, had a fab Brunch with the boys and toasted with shots at noon.
