FRIDAY FAVORITES...DOUBLE THE FUN

Hi beauties! I could’ve done my usual 5 favorite things but there’s 2 such BIG ONES this week, well three, that it’s all I’m going to showcase this Friday!

1. We are Going to be Grandparents

OF TWINS!!!

In case you missed Mr. Nine and my video on Instagram, announcing this, watch it. We are blessed to announce that we are going to be having twin grandbabies this Fall. Our oldest and his lovely nurse fiancé are going to grace us with twins. Surprise of the BEST KIND! We will find out the sexes in a few weeks and I’d be lying if I said, I didn’t want a girl in there, but of course, happy healthy babies is all we want.

So it’s been a no-brainer forever that Mr. Nine‘s grandpa name would be Pop Nine because that was the name of his beloved grandpa. But for me, I’ve really struggled. Ultimately, we think it’s going to be “Glammy,” so the kids had these darling shirts made for us. I guess it’s all going to depend on what those babies want to call me, but one thing I know for certain; they will be spoiled, and they will be loved beyond measure!

Mr. Nine calls me Annie and Ann as do some of my friends and family, so maybe Grannie Annie or Gannie? LoL!

Oh and lovely mama had an ultrasound Tuesday so here is the 1st look at our beautiful grandbabes.

2. Laura Geller Chicago Luncheon

with Friends!

And another HUGE event this week also allowed me to see the lovely friends in The Blonde Squad! I ventured to Chicago yesterday and we were honored to be guests at a luncheon with the magnificent Laura Geller, founder of Laura Geller Beauty! Her award-winning makeup is an Oprah Favorite Thing and I love her devotion to ladies of all ages but especially those over 40! She’s a gem!

We enjoyed the most delightful lunch at Cindy’s, a rooftop restaurant on Michigan Ave. The view was spectacular! And the weather surprised us with some warmth and sunshine!

After lunch our friends crew headed to the Broken Shaker, an award-winning cocktail bar with great street food. Always fun to hang and catch up with these sweethearts! The real deal unlike many influencers these days, with hearts of pure gold! Til next time ladies!

And if you missed it, Monday I did the first Paris recap! 2nd Paris recap coming This Monday. In the meantime, you’ll find me twin babies shopping, lol.

FRIDAY FAVORITES LOTS OF LOVE

Sweet friends may this Friday bring sickness behind me! I have been down and out this week; even blew my nose so much that I cracked it and it bleed, lol. And I had to postpone a trip to see a dear friend. But I still have some favorites...always Lots of Love even when I feel bad.

1. Stella's Gotcha Day

Oh, my dear, sweet Stella! I shared her gotcha picture on Instagram Sunday, a year since the day we brought that sweet bundle of fur home!!

and this was my caption:

You light up our lives, your precious, loving, smart and playful personality has us wrapped around your little paw, lol! You love us with every ounce of sweetness in your 8-pound body but still find ways to love us deeper every day!

We found you at exactly the right time! The sun shined a little brighter beginning February 5th, 2022. Our little Girl and an angel on Earth!

If you have a dog, you know the JOY they bring! You know the depths of loss when you lose them and the depths of love when they join your home and become one of you!

And yes, she has her own walk-in closet, lol!

2. cabi X-Factor Dress

In THIS POST on Wednesday, I showed you some favorites from the new cabi spring collection. Today is the X-Factor Dress. Wouldn’t it be the perfect dress for Valentine’s Day. You can do the classy, black, and white or add in some pops of color all spring and summer long. Perfect to dress up or down! It’s such a great, comfy fit and such a great wait. 3. Spring Finds

I don’t own a trench coat that I’m completely in love with, but that will probably change when I get one of THESE!! The checks is a pale blue along with the other check being a gorgeous green, and I love it in person! SANDALS

Lots of winter left, and I truly wish that sandals did not start appearing in stores so early but to get the cute ones you’ve got a jump on it and these sandal finds had me dumbfounded. I literally had to do a second look in Target because there are 2 styles that look exactly like Dolce Vita.

4. Oral B Electric Toothbrush

Of course, Mr. Nine and I have matching toothbrushes, lol! I was on the fence about getting a rechargeable toothbrush, but when he got me the pink one for Christmas, I was sold after he knew how much I loved it, I got him a black one. FRIDAY FAVORITES...ALL THE FEELS

Wow! I’m not a fan of the holidays flying fast but I am a fan of Friday’s and sharing with you some of our family fun and favorites during the blessed season. Hoping 2023 brings joy, happiness, and good health to you all my friends!

1. Family

May have been some of my favorite family time yet despite one gathering postponed due to weather being -40 below! BUT spent all day Christmas with these darlings. Just missing our Pharmacy resident in Baltimore (but she’s off next year!) And the postponed night at moms was wonderful.

Family Recreates

Oh my, were these ever fun! I came across some of these photos as it was getting closer to Christmas, and I knew it was time to re-create this family goodness. I don’t know why I didn’t think of getting one of the five of us, but I did get the three boys reenacting the year that our youngest still believed in Santa. And because it’s a rarity to have all three boys when we see the cousins, I had to do Mr. Nine’s sister’s family with a couple re-creates too.

2. 2nd Son ENGAGED

Eek, when our son got back to Baltimore, he proposed! That’s right friends; 2 sons engaged within 2 weeks of each other! Exciting times!

3. What I Wore

Didn’t take many pictures of what I wore at all, but the hot pink blazer was a favorite as well as this dress that I wore to a holiday dinner.

4. Charcuterie Wreath

I actually had someone on TikTok that did not believe that I made this. She obviously has not followed me very long, lol. Look how amazing the Christmas wreath charcuterie turned out. Mr. Nine told me I should start my own seasonal business for these. You know I love my Charcuterie friend, but I think there might be a market for the wreath idea. Anyway, I plan on sharing the whole thing and how I did it on the blog next Christmas season.

FRIDAY FAVORITES...HOLIDAY SEASON IN FULL SWING

Stop it December, just stop it! I am loving the festive month, but do not want it to go too fast. I’ll savor every moment. A great moment that happened this week was that I got a new car, it literally had been on order for months, but because of the chip shortage, it did not come off the assembly line until now. I love it. AND this Favorites post is chalked full so here we go!

2. Peppermint Chip Shake

Pure Heaven! A friend introduced me to this goodness during Covid, and as a treat to myself that season I went weekly and indulged in one of these, savoring it on the drive home as our closest Chick-fil-A is 25 minutes away. The tradition continues and I LOVED every sip this week! Have you tried it?

3. Snow Sweater

Oh, SNOW sweet, another great release this week from my friends at Wooden Ships Knits. We got blessed with a huge snowstorm a couple weeks ago so I was able to snap these photos and get cozy in this sweater!
