Gingerbread

How I am loving gingerbread this year! In fact, I have everything to do yet another tree and gingerbread glam, but I think I’m waiting till next year. However, Walmart is killing it with a cute gingerbread stuff and all under $10! I got the cookie jar and the mugs!

Tree Hut

Tree Hut is the jam once for gals of all ages once again this season! How I love the peppermint scent! Last year it was candy cane, and I had a little of that scrub left and I can tell you it smells the same! It’s so good. I have been using the shower gel and the lotion and I just love it!

FRIDAY FAVORITES LET'S GET LIT

Three more sleeps until Christmas. I think it’s just so cute when people say that I’m sure we will use it with the twins when they get older and their excitement mounts to Christmas Day! Just sharing some festive love on this last holiday Friday favorites! Was beyond bummed when we did not get to go into Chicago for some festive fun due to tons of yucky rain. I was so looking forward to all the outside events and special pop-ups. I guess it’ll have to be next year. But excited to show you this holiday love!

1. Let’s Get Lit

Here it is the photo that graced the front of our Christmas card. Mr. Nine chose our outfits this year and again they were supposed to be for a party that got canceled but we were able to wear them to a holiday dinner. Doesn’t his bulb placement crack you up?

Here’s the back of the card. I don’t know about you other empty nesters, but it’s so hard b/c I still want to include my family, but it was impossible to get a group family photo this year, so I still included little snippets of them.

The lab results are in…they are indeed Identical Twins..a 30% chance even when in separate sacs.

Remember I got these Pink Onesies for the gender reveal, had 2 blue just in case.

2. Hood Brunch

I called this the hood brunch because it was my friends in the neighborhood coming over for a festive morning last Friday. We had a ball. Already looking forward to the next get together and two of the ladies are planning an around the world party which will be so much fun when the weather gets warmer!

3. Lights with Mom

Then that night, my mom and I attended the Christmas light viewing at our Wellfield Botanical Gardens. It was such a lovely night, not bitter cold and the lights were gorgeous.

Yesterday we had Mr. Nine sisters’ family over and I had already wrote this before their visit but it was good times no doubt. Love them. Stella anxiously awaits everyone's arrival on her "red pillow."

FRIDAY FAVORITES...CANDY CANE LANE

It’s been a fun and festive week around here. Lunch and Shopping with a friend, 2 Peppermint Chip Shakes, Getting "Recognized", Shopping and Bakery with mom today AND We’re gonna continue that right into the weekend because Stella Mae turns 1 year old on Sunday! So excited!

2. Fun Weekend

We had lots of fun last weekend!!

Notre Dame Game

We went to the Notre Dame Syracuse game, which was so fun, especially since it was so close and we ultimately lost by one point. I love the pace of basketball games.

Afterwords, we went to the Irish pub across from campus called O’Rourke’s, and it was so yummy!

I didn’t really feel like wearing the team logo, so instead, I wear the team colors in a chic way with the Blazer and Sneaks.

Son's Birthday

Then, on Sunday, we celebrated this boy turning 25! We had a great brunch at one of our favorite local restaurants, and I made his always requested apple crisp!

3. Wearing Red

Red is one of my favorite colors, so you can bet I put a lot of it out this time of year!

This DRESS is from Draper James at Kohl’s, and it is such a pretty sweater dress, with great detailing in the net and the bellowing sleeves.

4. Dunkin' Gift Idea

I know many people who are fans of Dunkin’ Donuts! This is the perfect little affordable gift to put together. This girl who turns the Big ONE Sunday is truly the light of our lives. She gets to go on a little road trip with us next week. We got her lots of cute gifts for Christmas and her birthday the sweater below is one I’m super excited about. She is so easy on her toys but this is her second pink monkey, she thinks it's her "baby" and the first one got all dirty, lol
