My thought is Jo Jo would be proud! I am a mix between a little of her decor style and a little modern so with every decoration I do, I think of her. I like a little front porch sitting! We’ve got a view of a pond and lots of trees so I’m excited for the changing leaves. Fall exploded at the Nine’s on Friday.
As you may know, the old house was tans, reds, oranges, etc so colorful orange pumpkins was always the Thang! At the new house, I’m going for a more neutral vibe so all white pumpkins, mums, green pumpkins it was and boy do I love it.
Of course, I threw in little touches of Buffalo Plaid. The first Fall piece I bought this year was the long Fall sign at Kirkland’s.
The front mat Combo may be my favorite!

White and buffalo plaid are definitely trending this fall. You did a beautiful job on this porch.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a fresh take on fall and I'm all about it! I'm still transitioning over to fall outside and need to go get my mums and pumpkins. I was thinking of putting my buffalo check pillow covers on the outdoor pillows and now I really want to! I love all the greens and whites. I'm keeping it more neutral this year too! That sign just brings it all together too!
ReplyDeleteAndrea, this is gorgeous and screams fall perfection! I want to be your neighbor and come over for coffee!!!!
ReplyDeleteEverything look so cute! I love the buffalo plaid and the neutral look.
ReplyDeleteThe way you described your style is exactly how I am. I like some of that country chic farmhouse look...mixed with a modern flare. Your porch looks sooooooo good!!! ReplyDeleteOh Andrea, it's PERFECT!!!! All the buffalo plaid and all the pumpkins and all the mums. Just perfect. And I still cannot get over your ferns. They are incredible.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'd love to sit on your porch and sip and talk. It is so warm and inviting looking. I use to go all out such as you but over the years I've really scaled back because whatever goes out has got to be put up and I grew weary of it. Shame on me! But, hey, I've had my day in the sun in that regard. I still and always will decorate, just a bit more simply. Happy week girl!
ReplyDeleteI dont see the Buffalo Plaid & not think of you!
ReplyDeleteI actually just got a Buffalo Plaid flannel from Old Navy - I'll just come sit on your porch wearing it - m'kay? ;) haha
Oh my friend, Jo would be proud. You styled your front porch beautifully. I so miss having a front porch. Mine is so small you can barely turn around it. I'll live vicariously through yours!!! XOXO

ReplyDeleteFab.u.lous! I love the muted cool colours with black and white. Well thought through, Andrea. I hope Chateau Nine (or 9!) has many callers so they can appreciate your talent IRL.
ReplyDeleteI've only recently started on IG too ; mine is subjected to vigorous daily curating to keep it down to real people, I may look unpopular but it's my preference. I'm dashing off to follow you now!
Happy week wishes, x.

ReplyDeleteI've been crazy busy the last couple of days and all I wanted to do was sit down and read this post! LOL! I finally got to tonight. Ohhhhh, I LOVE it!!! I checked out that plaid mat and how cool that Amazon offers it in different sizes. I just love that Kirkland's Fall sign, I need to tell my husband we need to do lunch again by his work so I have an excuse to visit Kirkland's again (it isn't super close to our house). And, those ferns... they're HUGE! I love how you did white mums. Super cute! I pinned away!
