FALL INDOOR DECORATIONS 2023

Decorating for Fall! How I love it! Almost as much as decorating for Christmas but don’t worry I’ll wait, lol! I really was only going to decorate a couple areas inside this year but after I got going with the rusts and navy and cream, I was all about it!

Fireplace

You may remember from my Fall indoor decor posts, that I normally have a great big wreath with pumpkins that goes above the fireplace, but it just didn’t mesh well with the colors and the blue glass vases, so I just left up the fabulous Let’s Stay In wood sign as the focal for the fireplace.

Let's Stay in Sign HERE // Vases HERE

Always like, adding in a little bit of lights somewhere and there’s something about setting a Pumpkin on top of a candle stick that makes me happy! You’ll see two of those pumpkin arrangements in the house that I made last year and this post. Big Velvet Pumpkin at Hobby Lobby, Little Rust, Dollar spot at Target!

Nook

I keep thinking I’m going to get another chair for this corner, but I just love it so much and it will be replaced by a Christmas tree in a couple months but just adding a rest, blanket, a fall pillow and some great stems and a big rattan vase looks so FALL fabulous.

Here's another cute corner. Velvet Pillow HERE, Hey Pumpkin HERE

Hall Tree

This was an area I wasn’t going to do but when I opened the upper cabinets, I saw that I had bought two navy and white pumpkin pillows from the dollar spot at Target, so I had to go with it. I had the perfect Pillow Covers to go behind. I got the 6ft Blue and Orange Fabric Pumpkin Garland at Michael’s. Just added in some Hobby lobby stems, and my spray painted me the pumpkins above that I had on the porch last year.

Console Table

This is very similar to last year, but adding in the velvet rust pumpkins made me so happy. Some of these items I had in a bedroom last year, but they worked just perfectly for my fall colors.

Dining Room

Saving my favorite for last! For some odd reason, I always think that napkins with napkin rings need to be on top the chargers and plates, but when I couldn’t find any napkin rings, I liked and have been eyeing the plates from Hobby lobby for the past couple years, I knew I was in luck when I found the metallic rust napkins to go under them. This came together so sweetly.

Not only do I love rust in my home decor, but I love it in my fashion, too, lol. What do you think of the colors? Do they blend nicely in the household? Do you have a favorite? Have you decorated inside for Fall yet? Or do you not and just wait til Christmas? Let me know!

Check out how I use to Decorate

for Fall in This Post!

Happy Almost Fall y'All, although I start Fall September 1st, lol!

FRIDAY FAVORITES...OCTOBER SO SWEET

Guess what? We had a beautiful weekend last weekend and this week, so we decided to keep the pool open a little bit longer. It’s heated so we called our giant hot tub, lol but that weather is taking a turn. that’s OK as we’ve got a fabulous wedding tomorrow with lots of dancing, great food, and friends so I’m excited! BUT pray the swelling from the bee sting I got on my face on Wednesday gets better by tomorrow. Ugh!
Let’s get to favorites!

1. Overnight at Jill's

Oh, how fun! I got to see Jill from Doused in Pink two weeks in a row! This was the first time I had been to her beautiful home that she and her husband have so sweetly remodeled and got to meet her precious pup Lana! The reason for my visit: a Cabi event which I will tell you more about soon! We were having such a good time I didn’t get near enough pictures but look at her sweet Lana with me in the morning before I left. Look at the treats auntie Jill sent home to Stella and see those big meatballs and rice. Jill‘s husband went with us to dinner at a great restaurant called Firkin on Friday night and of course they were having Oktoberfest and he got the German balls!

We each had a bite, so good!

2. Friday Fall Features

4. Color Block Cutie

Aren’t the colors so pretty in this Color Block Sweater? This gorgeous well-made sweater is from Chicwish and just such a no-brainer to throw on with jeans and boots!

BEAUTIFUL CANDY CORN CENTERPIECE

Everyone’s doing it…but I was on the Candy Corn decor train years ago… the Cutest, easiest Fall Centerpiece! Vase inside a vase...BRILLIANT. What makes this one extra special, is the Size!! It makes such an impact on your table or counter!

This masterpiece took 12 bags of candy corn to fill.

It’s so darn simply you guys! Just put one cylinder vase inside a bigger one (I liked a Pedestal Vase) it doesn’t even have to be clear as long as it’s flat on the bottom because it will not show with all the candy corn around it. However, I did opt for a clear one. Just place all that candy corn in between the two vases and filled to the top.

In retrospect I should bout the Candy Corn in bulk not the smaller bags

Not going to lie, sometimes I sneak a candy corn off the top, lol

Simply arrange some beautiful stems of course I added some white velvet pumpkin stems. Both these beautiful stones came from Michael’s. I will link everything here.

1. Last Weekend Fun

Had a sweet Labor Day weekend last weekend despite the weather not being what we wanted. One of the best things to come out of it is our son and his girlfriend finally got us rents together, although they don’t live at home anymore, lol! I was already good friends with our son’s girlfriend’s mom but we finally got dad‘s to meet and what a good time we had at dinner and a little Notre Dame tailgate.

Such a Bummer and lost but lots of FUN!

Sunday, we took a Stella Mae to a beach town. No other photos, just immersed in a sweet day and eating pizza having cocktails and watching a live band.
